Résidence Le Clos Saint-Michel consists of several modern, (maximum) two-storey buildings, housing a selection of nice appartments. The complex is characterised by its playful design and it's set in slightly hilly grounds, which means that there are quite a few steps and staircases. All apartments are modernly furnished and feature a fully equipped kitchenette and a furnished balcony or terrace.

If you love the French good life, you've come to the right place. Résidence Le Clos Saint-Michel is located in peaceful surroundings, just outside medieval Chinon. This town is dominated by its ancient castle and has plenty of nice squares and outdoor cafés.
The holiday resort features a beautiful, heated swimming pool (open from (mid) April, weather dependent) with sun terrace and loungers. There's a covered walkway from indoors to the swimming pool. Further facilities include a reception, breakfast room, fitness room, laundry facilities and a central parking area.
Picturesque Chinon is located in the Loire region, which is famous for its vineyards (Sauvignon Blanc) and magnificent castles. Chinon is set on the river Vienne, which offers some nice walks, as well as cycling and boat tours.
The 'Val de Loire' area is listed as a Unesco world heritage site, because of the many imposing castles in particular. Don't miss the opportunity to see it for yourself: the castles and gardens of Amboise, Chenonceau, Villandry and Azay-le-Rideau are all well worth a visit. The historic town of Tours also makes for a nice day trip. And a wine tasting session is of course a must during your stay in the Loire!

We were kindly welcomed by two ladies who also spoke English. Arriving at the apartment we were pleasantly surprised with the view and the fact that the car could be close. The apartment complex is very close to the center. Really ideal. In the apartment were the refrigerator that made a lot of noise and the onions of air that mainly hung in the shower and bedroom were negatives.
