The house needs to see you more as a kind kamphuis. We have lot of fun but there including the beautiful weer.Op the first night the owner came out immediately that we had to be quiet, he would come once, otherwise we would be sent home worden.Nu we were busy with a game and we made quite a lot of noise but the way we were told that we had to be quieter allowed us especially tegen.Een more positive approach would have helped a lot. We decided to go but just to avoid nagging and then we heard nothing inside. We were not very warmly ontvangen.We had to pay € 100 for cleaning and therefore needed to wipe clean all yield the wastepaper bins emptied and make the dishwasher empty, which was a pity. The gite Cessigny is even more beautiful and comfortable than the photos suggest. It has been renovated and furnished with care and taste. You only hear only the birds chirping and sporadically once a car. The house itself is comfortable and fully equipped. Research shows that the house must have been built in the 17th century. The open fireplace air is part of it and we have certainly not experienced it as disturbing. The ruin that is next to the holiday home (which you cannot enter) comes from the 14th or 15th century. to see. There are a lot of castles to visit and very nice walks from the house itself. recommended. We will definitely come back.

The arrival was a bit messy. Despite our e-mail with the time of arrival, the hostess was not present, and after a phone call revealed that she had not seen the email. Spacious rooms, everything is available that is practically needed. The furniture is old, but with French charm, so pleasant for us. A number of cupboards are still crammed and locked. A nice and nicely decorated house! A fine kitchen, good beds and a fantastic garden. A good place to go with (young) children. The garden is completely fenced and there is a slide with swings. There is much to visit in the area, castles and vineyards for example. The arrival and departure went smoothly.
