We were received most cordially by the 2 owners. A basket of tea bags, coffee cups, home-made jam and a bottle of festive bubbles waited completely on the table :-) Furthermore, a tray with 6 farm-fresh eggs from the chickens, which, incidentally, show a very modest, short ladies-like cackle. an egg has been laid. ;-) In the fridge a bottle of water and a carton of milk. For the first cups of coffee or tea you don't have to go to the supermarché in no time. Beautifully renovated house, where a lot of love has been put into the interior. Big plus is also the all-in price. You usually pay separately for cleaning and linen. Here the beds are made ready and both kitchen linen and bath towels are available. No deposit, so you will not be left with a pile of cash after the holidays.

What a wonderful week, a beautiful house with all comforts with a spacious garden with a lounge area and a shaded area where you can also eat outside with the extra luxury of a lovely bubble bath. Within walking distance of the bakery and close to nice villages and beautiful castles. When it cools down a bit in the evening, we light the wood stove. Highly recommended!

The gite Les Pompadour is a real paradise! It already starts upon arrival when you are warmly welcomed by the hostesses Jacqueline and Caroline. A welcome basket with homemade jams, coffee, water, milk and tomatoes from the garden makes the feeling of being welcome even greater. Then the cottage itself. Sometimes you see photos and hope that reality will be just as beautiful, I can say that is certainly the case here. In everything you can see that the gite and the furnishings have been worked with great care and love, with great eye for detail. The area is wonderfully quiet, you can enjoy walking and excursions. The hostesses were ready for us during our stay (three weeks) if necessary and the contact was more than pleasant. house of the hostesses, you still have the feeling that you are alone on the property. In other reviews, the bakery is also praised for its croissants and cakes, that is also true. You walk from the gite in an almost straight line in still not ten minutes to the bakery to then be able to find all the goodies. also definitely recommended.Against iede Reen I would like to say: if you want to relax and enjoy a great gite, then you don't have to look any further, then you have come to the right place in La Chapelle Blanche de Saint Martin.

You immediately feel very comfortable in this beautiful and stylishly furnished holiday home. This is not least due to the fact that the two charming hostesses make every effort to ensure that their guests can spend a pleasant and carefree time in this oasis of peace. The house itself is well equipped and very clean. From here you can easily reach many interesting destinations in the area, as it is conveniently located in terms of transport. If you want to sunbathe or simply relax outdoors, you can do so unsupervised in the hotel's own private and well-tended garden.... definitely recommended!

Very warmly received by 2 sympathetic ladies. A well-filled "welcome" basket was waiting for us with delicious homemade strawberry jam. The house has been beautifully renovated, attractively decorated and spotlessly clean. Everything you could possibly need is available in the kitchen. The covered terrace is very pleasant in good weather and the jacuzzi is great. The area is wonderfully quiet, but there is plenty to do if you have a car. And the local bakery bakes very tasty pain aux raisins.

Warm reception by two sympathetic ladies. A basket of goodies was ready on the table. The gite itself has been beautifully renovated, equipped with every comfort and very cosily furnished. The garden is beautiful and spacious and the jacuzzi was an absolute added value for our daughters. It is great to relax after a day of visiting the chateau. There are many attractions in the area - in the same street even Chateau Grillemont is about a 20 minute walk through beautiful views and beautiful forests! For us this was our holiday HOME for a week!

Very warm welcome by 2 fantastic ladies !! There was a basket full of goodies ready that we could eat to our hearts' content! Very nice, warm style in the house and everything is brand new! We really enjoyed the colder days because then the fire went on! Everything is present in the kitchen and we also had lots of towels! Microwave and oven are very easy to operate! The area is also spectacularly beautiful with the many Château’s in the area! Nice garden with all necessary furniture! We have super relaxed!

We were received very friendly and in the kitchen we found delicious surprises, including products from our own garden and chickens. The owners were very helpful. The accommodation is great, very clean and tastefully decorated. We had complete pricacy and the house is very quiet. Fantastic good beds; slept good. The area is beautiful; a beautiful rolling landscape with fields and bushes. Interesting cities and castles within driving distance. We heartily recommend this house.

We have a super nice week with our 3. The holiday is very nice and cared for. everything is there and we were very well received by the owners. Very lovely people! Our son particularly enjoyed the jacuzzi as a refreshment in the warm weather. In the evening it cools down pleasantly and it was nice to relax on the terrace. There are beautiful villages and culture, nature in the area. We definitely recommend this house!

A lovely cottage with very lovely hosts. The cottage is very cosy, spacious and comes complete with a jacuzzi! A private garden, a welcoming basked with goodies and fresh eggs, tomatoes and raspberries. The cottage has 3 very nice bedrooms, a big kitchen and a great living room all in white and varies shades of blue and gray. It is close to all kind of sightseeing opportunities like Langeais, Tours, Chinon, Montresor, Loches. We had a great and relaxing time and recommend a stay to everybody looking for a quiet stay with lots to do in the vicinity.

Erg mooi en zeer professionele opgezette vakantiehuis. Moderne en compleet ingerichte inboedel. Ook buiten meerdere zitjes en bubbelbad. Ruime en zeer fijn slapende bedden. Op iedere slaapkamer een ventilator voor de warme nachten in de zomer. Zeer strategisch gelegen om over een groot gedeelte van het Loire dal steden, stadjes, kastelen en dierentuinen te kunnen bezoeken. Eigenaressen spreken meerdere talen en zijn erg toegankelijk voor vragen. Meermaals erg lekkere verse groente uit hun moestuin mogen krijgen. Het enige wat als mogelijke aanmerking kan bedenken is dat als je wat langer bent op de bovenverdieping wel rekening moet houden met de dwarsbalken. Begane grond waar de keuken en woonkamer zijn echter alle ruimte. Een echte aanrader als je op vakantie wilt in deze regio van Frankrijk.
