This air-conditioned holiday home in the pretty village of Saint-Maximin has a private swimming pool and a superb terrace. It's perfect for a couple's holiday exploring the Gard region.
Spacious and bright, decorated in Provencal colours, it is adjoining the owners' house, but does not overlook your terrace. It also has a barbecue and plenty of privacy.
Saint-Maximin is a picturesque village built on a hill far from the main roads, overlooking the valley and offering pleasant walks through its narrow streets and shady squares.
You'll be between the magnificent medieval town of Uzès (4 km), famous for its Saturday market, and the Pont du Gard (10 km), a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Visit the Musée du Bonbon 2.5km away for some sweet discoveries. Go cycling on the many greenways, which run through breathtaking scenery. Take an hour to reach the beaches of the Mediterranean, crossing the wild Camargue for some water-based fun. There are several outstanding gardens to visit, including the Bambouseraie at Générargues. In Collias (7 km), you can hire a canoe on the Gardon river.

The large terrace at the house is very private and is equipped with excellent furniture. Inside there is plenty of space, good kitchen facilities, good beds and an excellent bathroom. The host and hostess are very helpful, but imagine more discreetly. In the pool, guests have priority when gebruik.In picturesque Saint-Maximin are no shops, but there is an excellent restaurant L 'Estanquet. Reservations are required!

We had a wonderful holiday, thanks to the luxury stay and friendly welcome! The cottage was very well furnished and clean. Unfortunately on the last day it stank of dog poo, but this did not spoil the fun of our wonderful holiday!

The house was very clean and equipped with all the necessary comfort. For 2 persons, an ideal base for exploring the area. There is a lot to see and experience in a 50 km radius. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Inside, old-fashioned.Bathroom is in need of renewal.Living totally not cozy, but you live outside, so it does not really bother.Kitchen cutlery is dirty, rusty knives and forks. Coffee machine is good for the rubbish dump.

Large private terrace with good furniture. Owners are very friendly and helpful if needed. Do not get up. Parking near the front door, convenient! Pool nice clean, well maintained, pleasant of temperature.

On arrival we were welcomed very friendly! It's handy if you master French, it communicates with the ptettigst eigenaren.Tijdens our stay we had the pool almost to ourselves. The cottage was spacious with nice seating areas around. There are many nice towns (such as Sete on the coast and Ales) in the immediate vicinity. For a fun evening (dinner and during the summer months and music market) go to Uzes (5km) ..... In short we had a wonderful (too short) vakantine!

Nice, spacious and full of friendly people home with several terraces and a nice pool in a quiet area. Those who love peace here comes into its own. Good location as a starting point for trips, near the cozy town of Uzes. We had a wonderful holiday here.

It was a nice property that is part of a larger villa. All very smart and good order. The owners who live in the villa received us warmly. And the sun was also present. Nice holiday!!

Very good location for a stay with 2 people and from which many excursions are possible such as to beautiful Uzés, Nîmes, Avignon, .... Cathy and Lucien, owners who live in the same location, are very friendly and do not insist. Quietly situated in dead-end street. Car is safely parked behind the house. Pool is very well maintained!
