The holiday home was spacious and tastefully decorated with everything we could possibly need, Our kids loved the garden space, and we found ourselves spending a lot of time enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, The owner was very welcoming, and it was clear they took pride in maintaining the property, Plus, having restaurants just a short walk away made dining out easy, This place is a must for families looking to unwind in nature!

We had a wonderful stay in this charming holiday home! The location in Montclus is simply stunning, surrounded by peaceful lavender fields and the gentle sound of a nearby stream. The house was well-equipped, spacious, and clean, making it ideal for our family of six. We particularly enjoyed the covered terrace for evening barbecues. Additionally, the proximity to the medieval village and great restaurants was a real pleasure. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

We had a lovely time here, the location is perfect for exploring the Ardèche region, and the hosts were very kind, just a little more attention to detail in the cleaning would have made it perfect.

Neat house in a beautiful village and beautiful surroundings. the house is spacious and neat. Good facilities, good beds, good sofa, etc. The interior is rural and very neat. The house is a bit dark and that has been compensated by stucking everything neatly white. The latter makes it a bit sterile. there is a nice terrace but keep in mind that it only offers a view of the wall of the house opposite. There is no bakery in the village, which we found to be a loss if you are in a village. The quality of the house partly made up for that.

Montclus is a very pleasant starting point for many excursions. In the area you can walk well. Montclus is a very small, quiet mountain village, with not too many tourists. The house is very pleasant and spacious. It is just not free.

Nice house in a nice village. Welcoming reception and everything neatly arranged. The decor is simple but complete and neat. Many opportunities to see the beautiful surroundings forests, rivers, mountains, villages and cities. Also for active holidays (canoeing, cycling, hiking, mountaineering).

What a great house! It exceeded our expectations. Spacious, practical, idyllic location, in less than five minutes to walk to the river Cèze. Owner cordial and helpful. Area full of beautiful places. In short, for us a dream house!

Everything was more than present. One day the dishwasher broke down, after 2 hours the owner was already on the doorstep with a technician. Fantastic!



The village of Montclus is very beautiful. Very quiet. The area is very nice, we made several trips to markets - Goudargues and Barjac -, to Gorges de l'Ardeche, Avignon, etc.



All tips and road maps are already present in the house, just like barbecue equipment such as firelighters and charcoal.

it was the third time we came to Montclus and it felt a bit like coming home. The first 2 times we had a different stay outside the village, but now we were a bit in a paradise, when we arrived a super friendly Frenchwoman was waiting for us with the umbrella, because it poured there. We immediately got a wonderful explanation about the house, how the kitchen appliances worked, even how we had to switch the TV on and off, about Montclus and its surroundings, where it was best to shop, the sights in the near and slightly further surroundings, in short a wonderful hostess . It is a very spacious house with 2 separate toilets and 3 large bedrooms and a spacious bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. The only shortage in this house, in our eyes at least, there is no wifi and that might be there anyway. It is a must for anyone who is a nature lover, an advanced cyclist, a walker. In Montclus itself there is not much to do, although you are very quickly invited to play a game of petanque when you watch. Very friendly inhabitants that you certainly do not consider as a tourist but as one of theirs and you will soon feel at home there. We will definitely go back again.

Perfectly restored stone house in the historic village - Montclus is a completely preserved castle pond on the banks of the Ceze river. During the season there is a market with regional products every Tuesday. The castle ruins can be visited, occasionally cultural events take place there. - The house - with a beautiful view of the surrounding area - has 3 full bedrooms with very good beds, a shower room, 2 separate toilets, kitchen, large living room, a covered terrace and a sun terrace, 2 parking spaces on the property. The banks of the Ceze with very nice bathing places are barely 300 m away and always beckons for a refreshing swim. Montclus is quiet and has no through traffic. Nevertheless, sights and natural beauties can be reached quickly (Ardeche 20 km, Pont du Gard 50 km ...)

Very sympathetic hostess, tour of village by hostess. Cozy village, near river with beach, 2 restaurants nearby, good connection to other cities. House spacious enough for family with 2 children, all necessary amenities available, terrace for breakfast outside, nearest shops about 10 km away, bakery will arrive every day (on town square).

My friend and I had a wonderful time in Montclus. It is a beautiful picturesque village, spacious and comfortable house and a lovely spot on the river Cèze within walking distance. The only thing that was a shame that the only restaurant was closed-it is only open during July and August. A rental car is needed because there are few facilities in Montclus. But further recommended!
