This traditional vacation home in Dampsmesnil, Normandy is a 1-bedroom log cabin, with a capacity of 4 people. With access to free WiFi, a fenced garden and a terrace, you can enjoy a relaxed, peaceful vacation.
This cabin is located in the Eure department with lots to explore on the premises itself. Renowned impressionist painter Claude Monet’s gardens and museums are only 15 km away in Giverny, while the village of Lyons-La-Foret is 36 km away. Head to the banks of River Seine to visit the castle of La Roche-Guyon, only 14 km from the cabin. The city of Paris and Versailles are about an hour's drive away. General supplies and restaurants are available 2 km from here. You will also find a golf course, about 10km away from here.
This holiday home, built according to Norman traditions of using wooden beams and stones, is comfortably furnished, with a large flower garden for you to enjoy. There is a barbecue available for some delicious meals and table tennis for some indoor fun.

The cottage has all the home and kitchen utensils you need for a holiday. The cleaning could be much better, namely in several places there were spiders and the bathroom waste bin was not empty. You have to pay for cleaning

Had a very nice holiday! Beautiful and spacious house with enough amenities. Large terrace and gigantic beautiful garden. The owner has even hung a small swing on a tree especially for our child. It was a bit of a search for the house because the house number was not clearly visible. The cottage is nicely furnished, not very big, but for us 2 certainly spacious enough. There is enough household goods. The area is very quiet and the garden beautiful, it was nice to spot different birds. We were kindly welcomed by the hostess Florence. There was a bottle of wine ready and we were treated with freshly baked apple pie. The only downside we found was the rather narrow bed.

The landlords are very friendly and helpful. The house is very quiet in a small place on a very large property, which you share with the owners (but during the week in Paris, so you have everything for yourself.) In the house there is absolutely nothing missing, it is really everything available and also the house is very tastefully decorated. The rural environment is very beautiful and there are many parks and castles to visit, also many restaurants of very good quality and a good price-performance ratio (the landlords like to give Information desk). Also Paris and Versailles are only about an hour's drive away. All in all a very nice stay and an absolute recommendation!

As requested, we called an hour for the expected arrival to report our arrival. Unfortunately, no connection could be made so we wondered if the owner is present. Upon arrival, the owner appeared in the garden. The house is of very good quality and the equipment idem dito. Bottom line is the mattress, which is definitely for the new season of renewal, on one side begins to form a dump and that will mark your back over time! The immediate area is rural and told us, afterwards there is something for everyone to see or experience.

Comfortable house with all the trimmings. Mad kindly received by the owner. Magny. View in the garden was breathtaking and it was very quiet. Environment is nice but cycling is for the elderly to be discouraged. Nice town and Vernon Claude Monet museum is a must. The weather also was with it, so ... what more could you want.

We had a fantastic holiday. A nice, comfortable house with a beautiful garden in a small picturesque village. The welcome was very warm and welcoming. There is plenty to discover in the area and a visit to Monet's gardens is certainly worthwhile. In short, we enjoyed!
