The holiday home was decent but could use a few updates, While we enjoyed our stay, some amenities felt a bit outdated, However, the tranquility of the area made it a nice retreat

Highly recommend this place if you want to escape the city noise, The quiet atmosphere allowed us to unwind completely, and the private pool was a fantastic feature, Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Our stay was delightful! The layout of the house perfectly met our needs, and having a washing machine was incredibly useful. The nearby forest trails were ideal for morning hikes.

Beautiful holiday home. Everything in tip top condition. Friendly owners who live next to the house with their dog Petrus. You only see them when there is a problem. Furthermore, they respect your privacy and you have your own entrance to the domain so that you do not have to cross each other.
It is also useful that your car can be parked under a covered shed.
The many extras (toilet paper, kitchen roll, coffee filters and some coffee,...) were certainly pleasant. The welcome with a bottle of wine and homemade jam was also very thoughtful.
WiFi works well, but you should not watch too many films at the same time.
Some things for the children are available, as well as books in French and 3 in Dutch.
They also immediately give out flyers of things in the Dordogne region.
On Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM there is a local market in Laboujac itself. We also did some quick shopping in Villefranche du Perigord where you will find 2 smaller supermarkets. We went to the large supermarkets in Montayral, which is 20 to 30 minutes away.
