The holiday home was decent but could use a few updates, While we enjoyed our stay, some amenities felt a bit outdated, However, the tranquility of the area made it a nice retreat

Highly recommend this place if you want to escape the city noise, The quiet atmosphere allowed us to unwind completely, and the private pool was a fantastic feature, Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful experience overall! The house was cozy and beautifully decorated, We appreciated the little touches, like the fireplace and garden furniture, The location was also great for exploring nearby attractions

The room offered everything we needed and was very inviting. The kitchen made cooking together easy. In the mornings, we spent time on the balcony with a cup of coffee. It immediately felt like home.

Beautiful holiday home. Everything in tip top condition. Friendly owners who live next to the house with their dog Petrus. You only see them when there is a problem. Furthermore, they respect your privacy and you have your own entrance to the domain so that you do not have to cross each other.
It is also useful that your car can be parked under a covered shed.
The many extras (toilet paper, kitchen roll, coffee filters and some coffee,...) were certainly pleasant. The welcome with a bottle of wine and homemade jam was also very thoughtful.
WiFi works well, but you should not watch too many films at the same time.
Some things for the children are available, as well as books in French and 3 in Dutch.
They also immediately give out flyers of things in the Dordogne region.
On Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM there is a local market in Laboujac itself. We also did some quick shopping in Villefranche du Perigord where you will find 2 smaller supermarkets. We went to the large supermarkets in Montayral, which is 20 to 30 minutes away.

We had a beautiful stay at this property. It was spacious and well-equipped for our group of six. The garden was a great place for evening relaxation, and the nearby forest trails were perfect for our morning walks.

At first, I had concerns about the space, but it turned out that there was enough room for all of us. I found the high chair and the crib for our little one particularly helpful. Everything was well thought out for families.

This place is all about the vibe! The private pool is perfect for relaxing and sunbathing. Plus, the garden layout is super cute for evening gatherings. Just a short ride to charming restaurants. I definitely recommend it for family trips or trips with friends!

Only downside I can think of is there's a big fig tree close to the house that attracts a lot of wasps and hornets so not ideal if you're afraid of those.

It is a great base for exploring the Dordogne region. We visited Sarlat-la-Canéda, which was about an hour's drive, but it was definitely worth it. Overall, a pleasant experience with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
