It's a pity about the limited pool hours. Fly screens or air conditioning are not unnecessary in a region where it can sometimes be very hot.

-->Beautiful, quiet location on a hill 10 minutes' walk from the village. Nice pool and a lovely outdoor terrace where you can sit comfortably. The cottage itself was somewhat outdated, but equipped with all conveniences (dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, toaster, etc.). We mainly noticed the outdated condition of the cottage from the creaking wood on the upper floor, which was very audible downstairs. There are also woodworms in one of the rooms and in the kitchen, which you can clearly hear cracking in the wood at night. The toilets don't flush well either, but we are very satisfied with the cottage and the location. --> Carole and Alait (hosts) are incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and hospitable. They have all sorts of tips regarding activities and restaurants. We did feel a bit monitored at times because they were around all day (they live next door/close by). --> The village, a 10-minute walk away, is very cozy. In the morning you can get bread there, and in the evening you can enjoy delicious food. Many fun activities nearby; canoeing, climbing park, caves, castles, villages, hiking, etc. --> In short: definitely a recommendation in terms of location/environment/owners/activities, but not if you like a luxuriously furnished cottage :))

Wonderful getaway! The house is spacious and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. We enjoyed exploring the local village and dining at nearby restaurants. We can't wait to return!
