First of all, I want to say that it is a lovely house in a beautiful location and we had a great week. As a point of concern, I would like to mention (on behalf of all of us) that the key transfer was rushed, in fact, we did not receive the key. They came in the middle of the week to clean the pool, which took over 3 hours. Normally not a big deal, but it was the only sunny morning during our week, so there were some grumbling people. Tip: do it on the transfer date so that no one is inconvenienced. Lastly, there are no larger pots available for cooking for 8 people.

The manor was really nice and perfectly suited for our group of 8. Lots of space and the fireplace was a warm touch for the cooler nights. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby castles! I had a few issues with the WiFi, but the owner was super helpful. Definitely a place to consider for a family getaway.

Beautiful rooms with beautiful bathrooms two beautiful large terraces with BBQ and fire bowl that were very popular. A small downside the coffee maker was missing, but there was a SenseoOp the terrace at the back could be a bit more light, it is very dark in the evening., Luckily the fire bowl brought cozy light. Maybe a gate for the stairs, but for children <3 years old it was a matter of care. But otherwise definitely recommended, beautiful domain and wonderful tranquility.

We could very easily enter the house, the key was ready. we had a very nice bed and two wonderful showers. the ground and the pool around the house were great! the only thing that was a minus point for us is that there was little to experience in the area. however, we were able to walk very nicely here with our two large dogs. the owner of this house was very nice and made sure that we really had a good time. outside some lamps may be purchased it is really dark and there is nothing to see, if there was something you could reach her immediately and it was solved. very nice!

On arrival it was a bit of a search for the right driveway between two huge hedges, but once you found it, the fun started. We have been warmly received by Saskia who showed us everything. This villa had for us (5 adults) everything we needed for a week. The beautiful views, the well-kept swimming pool, a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bathrooms and enough places to sit in or out of the sun. We are in the area to Lac de Rouffiac and Château de Hautefort. Furthermore, the supermarket is (relatively small) 5 minutes drive and a larger supermarket 20 minutes drive. We had received tips for typical French markets, but we skipped them this year. All in all it was a super nice villa, with its charms (sometimes some clamping windows, creaking floors) that belong to such a grandmother. We were able to rest and enjoy for a week.

Never before have you been able to admire both the golden oriole and a red wow from the garden. The house may be a bit older, but the facilities are completely up to date. The rooms were neat and the garden and pool were well kept. Kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped.

The only downside is the kitchen equipment with a mixed bag of crockery and glassware. You can expect more for a house of this type.
