Chalet with garden in the Pyrenees

Warm and comfortable chalet, quiet. Very clean. There is the minimum you need during the holidays. On the other hand, the mixer needs to be changed, it leaks and the hot water regulation is very bad, we almost burned ourselves several times. also see again, there is condensation on the windows and the heating in the room is not working properly.

We could be in our house earlier. It took some searching for the key address. Narrow streets where you could hardly turn. Really a typical French village. Friendly welcome. Environment is beautiful. Narrow rocky passages ... gorges ... high collen and tranquility ... tranquility ... tranquility .... Cottage equipped with just about everything. Only a good coffee machine was missing. We brought ours. Fortunately. Lovely large fridge and large freezer. Nice when a large super is a 40-minute drive away. (Quillan) Super good secure WIFI. Very nice.

The house was beautifully rustic and very spacious. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking family dishes a pleasure. The children enjoyed playing in the garden while we relaxed nearby.

The house is unfortunately in a very bad condition. The bathroom is in a deplorable condition. The tiles are covered with remains of cement. There are holes in the ground. It looks lumpy and the furniture is more for bulky waste. The whole house was very dirty, so we had to clean it first. The bathing lake that can be reached on foot, as described in the offer, does not exist either.

We were well received when we arrived at the key address. Cottage is very nice and quiet area. We just didn't expect that there was a house next to us, but we hardly notice that they are there. In the evening deer walk along the path at the holiday home (really super beautiful in full nature). Garden is not flat and there is a path behind the backyard so it doesn't feel completely private but we have been here for a few days and no one has walked on the path yet, except ourselves. It is a pity that the garden around the house is not cordoned off, because we have a dog with us that does react to the horses that occasionally walk past our house, from the nearby stables. But what a great location. You have to drive a bit for a day trip. Or go shopping, because the area is so beautiful, this is not a punishment at all. Cottage has everything, only downside is that the DVDs are of poor quality. But hey... who watches TV on vacation ;). This house incl. environment gets a big 9 from us!
