This attractive country house in Cénevières has 7 bedrooms. It is very suitable for an unforgettable family or friends gathering. The house even has a tower with a dovecote from the 13th century. The holiday home is located in a protected region and directly on the River Lot. As a result, there is plenty of opportunity for swimming or boating nearby. The Lot has several beaches where you can sunbathe. Canoes for nice trips are easy to rent. Also visit a flea market nearby or go to one of the many summer festivals. In this lovingly renovated country house from 1696, you will be immersed in times gone by.
The house has been atmospherically restored to its former glory. When you look at the old beamed ceilings, the plastered walls, the wooden floors, the thick doors, the fireplaces, the private courtyard and the vine-covered terrace, you will understand exactly what we mean by this.
The house is just 6 km from Saint Cirq-Lapopie, a village listed as one of France's most beautiful villages, and a true medieval treasure in the Lot. Located between Cahors (32 km) and Figeac (41 km), it is the ideal base to explore the Causses du Quercy regional natural park, with its medieval heritage and traditional kitchen.

Very nice place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped, enough crockery and equipment for many people to cook. You sit there very quiet and at ease. We really enjoyed the two terraces. The area is also very nice for walking and very beautiful towns and places to visit. It really was a great holiday!

Beautiful surroundings. Quiet area. Far away from stores. Less suitable for families with small children. Given that the River Lot is difficult to access close to the accommodation, we missed a swimming pool and landscaped garden with sun loungers and parasols. When shopping or visiting restaurants, one must take into account (in the smaller shops and eateries) a siesta from 12 a.m. to 3 p.m. you lose a large part of the day. Good preparation is a must.

Fantastic historical holiday home with castle furnishings! Beautifully situated on the Lot, completely free, no surrounding buildings so complete privacy. Furnishing a charming combination of historical elements with modern comfort. For us an ideal home for a family vacation with children and grandchildren and our dog.Recommendation improvement of access to / in the Lot is desirable, especially with small children difficult to get in and out of the water.

Had a great week with two families with small children. Nice historic old house in the middle of the fields and in beautiful surroundings. Large kitchen with access to the vine-covered terrace where we had a delicious meal every evening from the top BBQ. Nice beach on the lot at the bottom of the beautiful medieval village of St Cirque la Popie, within about 5 minutes drive, is perfect for swimming with young children. Snack bar with tasty coffee and snacks. Beautiful view over the valley from St Cirque. It is worth exploring the region. Lots of variety in beautiful surroundings and lots to do for children, canoeing, swimming rapids in Lot, caves Peche Merle etc. Market in Limogne on Sundays perfect for extensive shopping. Small mini supermarket across the Lot near the beach. In short, recommended!

Very nice house on the banks of the Lot. The house is huge and very tastefully decorated. Access to the Lot is very easy and the provision of a boat has delighted young and old. The proximity of the electric dam and the road opposite is quickly forgotten and the noise generated cannot be heard at all in the house. In short, an idyllic setting for a group holiday!
