This house is exactly as advertised. Excellent price-quality ratio, and a huge garden! It is a cottage, so a house in an older house. You can of course see that in some places, but that is also the charm of a cottage. The garden is really big, and you have many places to sit in the shade or sun. So with a larger group you don't have to be all huddled together. There is sufficient (garden) furniture for a large group. I think 10 adults is the max. There are several cots and high chairs, so you can go up to 12 with small children. The shower and toilet downstairs are in the utility room, which also contains the washing machine, dryer and boiler. Is a separate construction, but not a problem. The forest nearby is not accessible, so you have to go to a forest for a walk by car. In Marly-Gomont there is a nice circular walk, in the forest of Le Nouvion-en-Thiérache there are walks. Further away we can also recommend a very nice walk at Anor. You can find cooling in the Oise; on the way to Marly-Gomont there is a pick-up point for canoes where you can swim very well (1.5 meters deep). And more active sports you can do in Val Joly (mountain biking, climbing forest, sailing, etc). And don't forget to visit Laon and Saint Quentin. You can do your shopping in Guise (15 minutes drive).

the holiday was quite okay a lot of space and nice garden. But a lot of flies in the kitchen through a nearby meadow with cows. walking on site this is not really what we expected .. the forest nearby is private and actually unkempt .. luckily there was a nice cafe in the village .. otherwise you really have to take the car to discover ... want to you really enjoy the peace and quiet in the garden and you are not a big walker you are good there.

The water pump that is responsible for heating constantly makes a disturbing noise. The pool table is also not very usable and the lighting is very unpleasant. The house was very spacious and the garden too, it was a wonderfully quiet area. Shopping in about 15 minutes by car. Unfortunately, the beds were moderate to bad, part really needs to be replaced. The number of cups and glasses should also be increased. Wifi did not work, this was tried to solve during our stay but was not successful, personally I did not mind this very much. The play equipment outside (trampoline, swings, etc.) could use a makeover. With car you can visit many beautiful villages, visit cities and nature in the area. Also for the geocachers among us, there is plenty to find. The environment and the spacious house with spacious garden ensures that, despite the shortcomings, it has been a good experience. The second week we had rented a house in Picardy, then we were not that far from the Netherlands. Arriving there on Saturday we had to swallow. A HUGE amount of waste at the entrance gate, all torn open bags, the garbage men only came on Tuesday evening but they rightly left the open bags. Against my principles, but we didn't do this now either, it was not our waste. The house is beautiful from the outside could use a lick of paint but is authentic. Inside, however, faded glory. On arrival we turned out to have no wifi due to the re-installation of fiber optic. However, we had this house selected, distance, the wifi and the billiard table. The billiard table, cues were broken and the sheet ditto. The house was grubby and some things even dirty, I don't think you can only blame the cleaning lady for this because the house is very large and you do not know how many hours she get paid to clean it, we had to pay 75 euros for cleaning after our week.The dryer was broken, so was the dishwasher (full of mold and spaghetti strands), on Monday there was suddenly a man at the door, who did not propose but went straight to the dishwasher. That turned out to be the handyman. He didn't have to do it for us. We did the dishes by hand and let the laundry dry outside, but it had to be done before Saturday, we were NECESSARY to to be back at the house the next day at the agreed time because then he would come and fix it, as did the door handle of the kitchen door that continuously fell out.The next day we were home at the agreed time but no chores came and show up!! He came the next day around 4 pm, we made it clear to him that it was no longer necessary, he left to come back 2 hours later to fit and measure in front of the door. I was cooking and I was shocked again, said again samedi we are on holiday now

Had a nice holiday, but not cleaned properly. There were also many nettles outside, just near the play areas, but they were removed themselves. We had a leak and therefore a power outage, which was caused by the upstairs bath. We also had to pay €100 for final cleaning even though we had already done this ourselves, it was even nicer than on arrival. Very nice house in a very quiet location and a great garden with a playground for the little ones (slide, swing, sandpit). The situation, however, is so quiet that the village Englancourt not even a baker or a shop there. For companies that have nothing to do with hiking, you really have to take a certain amount of travel time into account. We were here in the summer. A time in which to be reckoned with due to the many Kuhwiesen around it, with extremely many flies, but also with wasps. The best flycatcher in the kitchen to hang. The house is furnished very broad, some, however, is worn.

We had a great time relaxing at Rabouillere 1. The house and surroundings make you relax instantly, away from the hustle and bustle. Still big supermarkets and macDonalds are within driving distance. The nearby villages are tiny, friendly and very French, mostly residential (some lovely churches!), whereas the towns have terraces and shops. The house is big and feeling grand, and does have wifi. The garden is a real joy, it feels like you are in a park. Nice big trampolines.We have 2 children, 2 and 3, so safety was important. For the most part the garden is indeed fenced off, though on the other side of Rabouillere 2 there are possibilities for the children to "escape", but in reality that is not a real concern, it is simply too far away for them to go there. The house would be great for up to 3 couples with 2 babies and 4 children, but suited us fine too (2 adults with 2 toddlers).We had a great BBQ, and we took a paddling pool with us, which was a good move, considering the hot weather we had. We had several electrical storms at night, which were fascinating to watch, and it was nice to sit under the roof of the patio and see the rain.

We have in the summer of 2013 a week using La Rabouillere 1. This is a nice and spacious house for groups / families up to 10 people + 1 baby. Especially the large garden and the beautiful weather contributed to a great holiday. The time was limited to 4 hours and we drove to Disneyland Paris in 2 hours. Disney was disappointing, long lines for even simple carousels etc. We prefer to go now to the Efteling or Walibi. The only disappointment was the internet that long due to a technical fault the whole week out. The owner has a lot of costs incurred to repair this and afterwards compensated us for lack of internet during our vacation. The house is a must.

Warm welcome on arrival, we knew a bit earlier and that was no problem. The house is spacious, the garden is really beautiful and the area is quiet and beautiful green. Downside is the hygiene in the house; many dishes were not clean in the cupboard on arrival and unfortunately there were mice in the kitchen. There was no good place available to store the groceries mouse-free. The decor is somewhat dated but certainly satisfactory. The cows in the garden are a nice extra, especially for children. The trampoline as shown in the pictures is currently in a completely different (bad) condition, due to the torn net the trampoline is absolutely not safe for children.

The house and the surroundings were beautiful and matched what we expected: lots of space, large garden, fully equipped kitchen. Handy incidental was that there was an external plug present, so I could easily charge my electric car.

end all well, we were going to go to France for the Easter holidays,, but the corona has changed that, the information about how this should proceed to arrange another date or cancel, was difficult, no sign of belvilla self or insufficient opportunity to get in touch and inform,,, there were some rules test on the web site about the corona situation but you could not arrange or ask anything,,, only after weeks did I receive an email back with some info about a credit arrangement for a next booking, a clear message on the website that had reassured everyone, or an automatic personal e-mail was needed here to calm people's concerns, we were finally able to do our trip in July so all's well that ends well, hopefully this corona story will end soon and we can plan something in all certainty, greetings Myrianne Desmet

the holiday was quite okay a lot of space and nice garden. But a lot of flies in the kitchen through a nearby meadow with cows. walking on site this is not really what we expected .. the forest nearby is private and actually unkempt .. luckily there was a nice cafe in the village .. otherwise you really have to take the car to discover ... want to you really enjoy the peace and quiet in the garden and you are not a big walker you are good there.

We stayed with 7 friends and two adult children one weekend in La Rabouillère 1. The house was very clean and all couples and singles had their own room, which came out perfect. Beautiful garden with lots of fun for the kids. The house is secluded and in a very nice area!

This house is exactly as advertised. Excellent price-quality ratio, and a huge garden! It is a cottage, so a house in an older house. You can of course see that in some places, but that is also the charm of a cottage. The garden is really big, and you have many places to sit in the shade or sun. So with a larger group you don't have to be all huddled together. There is sufficient (garden) furniture for a large group. I think 10 adults is the max. There are several cots and high chairs, so you can go up to 12 with small children. The shower and toilet downstairs are in the utility room, which also contains the washing machine, dryer and boiler. Is a separate construction, but not a problem. The forest nearby is not accessible, so you have to go to a forest for a walk by car. In Marly-Gomont there is a nice circular walk, in the forest of Le Nouvion-en-Thiérache there are walks. Further away we can also recommend a very nice walk at Anor. You can find cooling in the Oise; on the way to Marly-Gomont there is a pick-up point for canoes where you can swim very well (1.5 meters deep). And more active sports you can do in Val Joly (mountain biking, climbing forest, sailing, etc). And don't forget to visit Laon and Saint Quentin. You can do your shopping in Guise (15 minutes drive).

large, clean home, peace and space. Good beds at least if you're shorter than 1.90. Few seating (4) A good sofa but very rickety table and chairs. Everything else is present, dishwasher and washing machine. If you love nature, you should definitely within routes through the countryside walking or driving (Axe Greens from Hirson to Guise). Area is very quiet, nice walks, and Laon is beautiful city if you houdt.Eigenaresse culture is friendly and speaks only french, very poor english.

The second week we had rented a house in Picardy, then we were not that far from the Netherlands. Arriving there on Saturday we had to swallow. A HUGE amount of waste at the entrance gate, all torn open bags, the garbage men only came on Tuesday evening but they rightly left the open bags. Against my principles, but we didn't do this now either, it was not our waste. The house is beautiful from the outside could use a lick of paint but is authentic. Inside, however, faded glory. On arrival we turned out to have no wifi due to the re-installation of fiber optic. However, we had this house selected, distance, the wifi and the billiard table. The billiard table, cues were broken and the sheet ditto. The house was grubby and some things even dirty, I don't think you can only blame the cleaning lady for this because the house is very large and you do not know how many hours she get paid to clean it, we had to pay 75 euros for cleaning after our week.The dryer was broken, so was the dishwasher (full of mold and spaghetti strands), on Monday there was suddenly a man at the door, who did not propose but went straight to the dishwasher. That turned out to be the handyman. He didn't have to do it for us. We did the dishes by hand and let the laundry dry outside, but it had to be done before Saturday, we were NECESSARY to to be back at the house the next day at the agreed time because then he would come and fix it, as did the door handle of the kitchen door that continuously fell out.The next day we were home at the agreed time but no chores came and show up!! He came the next day around 4 pm, we made it clear to him that it was no longer necessary, he left to come back 2 hours later to fit and measure in front of the door. I was cooking and I was shocked again, said again samedi we are on holiday now

The house was very spacious and the garden too, it was a wonderfully quiet area. Shopping in about 15 minutes by car. Unfortunately, the beds were moderate to bad, part really needs to be replaced. The number of cups and glasses should also be increased. Wifi did not work, this was tried to solve during our stay but was not successful, personally I did not mind this very much. The play equipment outside (trampoline, swings, etc.) could use a makeover. With car you can visit many beautiful villages, visit cities and nature in the area. Also for the geocachers among us, there is plenty to find. The environment and the spacious house with spacious garden ensures that, despite the shortcomings, it has been a good experience. If the points mentioned are addressed, then it's all great.

Reception by Madame Carlier was very nice. Beautiful park garden. Large house, everything you need, for a pleasant and comfortable stay, is there. It is not a cold house, the heating works excellent and also the large fireplace. A minus: the shower downstairs very simple.
