This tasteful 18th-century holiday home in Thenon with an authentic farm vibe comes with 5 cozy rooms for 10. With a private pool and a lot of space, the home is ideal for a family with kids. A spacious house in the middle of nature with a breathtaking view of 180 degrees across the valley.
The home offers convenient distances to a lot of popular spots around. Montignac water sports can be enjoyed in a 15-minute ride. Lascaux, the Vézère valley with its rich culture, festivals, churches and castles are within easy reach.
This is an ideal place for a family or friendly couples with children. It offers a garden, several terraces, and a playground. Plenty of space to read, play a game, watch the birds -or deer- or have a good conversation. But guaranteed that a few times a day everyone will visit the meter-long table on the large terrace to enjoy the phenomenal view and the delicacies that the Perigord Noir offers. The home is located in the heart of the Dordogne with all its sights. Good 4G internet connection, suitable for home office.

Quiet location, very sweet hostess. Bedrooms and bathrooms in reasonable condition. Playground a bit outdated.

Very pleasant house with a magnificent view. Large living room, beautiful garden very popular with children. Nice walks around to a pond.

- Arrival: You could just enter the house (key is on the door). There is no contact with the owners of the house. They can be reached by phone when there are problems and then come by immediately or send someone as soon as possible.- Accommodation: We traveled with 6 adults and twins of 14 months. We used the bedrooms on the first floor (with 2 cots in the largest room, one was available, the other we took with us). There are also 2 bedrooms on the top floor, but these are actually only suitable for children. Very warm (a fan in all rooms) and very low beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances you need. There are also enough plates, cutlery, ... Outside, there is a nice covered terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding fields. There is also a beautiful swimming pool and a beautiful, large garden that we have made full use of. There are 2 other cottages on the domain, which do not disturb you at all. There is also a communal playground on the domain with a swing and seesaw. - environment: You can fully enjoy the peace and quiet. The cottage is not far from Thenon, where you have all the basic facilities. It is also only a half hour drive to Montignac. Another beautiful village that is certainly worth visiting is Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère.

The wear of the glassware due to the dishwasher and the use of certain utensils such as the ironing board would require an annual check. The stay was very pleasant. One last remark not on the rental but on the Belvilla agency which does not indicate in the rental price the bank charges caused by the passage in Swiss francs which is a curious behavior to say the least. ..

What a pleasant stay this was! A very nice accommodation, with a beautiful view. You can fully enjoy the tranquility. This was really a TOP location with a beautiful infinity pool. Also inside the house it is very nice, spacious and well cared for! The people who come to do the maintenance are very busy to make your stay as perfect as possible for you, with all due respect for privacy.
