Would recommend this place to anyone passing through. Easy access to bike rentals and a lovely garden for relaxing after a long day outdoors. Sleep quality was excellent too.

We arrive late, and the space was ready and welcoming. The open kitchen made it simple to prepare meals together, plus being close to restaurants is handy when you don’t want to cook.

The house was very beautiful. We had a great week, the landlords were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, we would love to come back, maybe more in spring or autumn as the river would probably be a bit colder. Thank you for the hospitality.

So spacious! The view of the castle is a whole vibe and the terrace is perfect for sunset photos. The kitchen is well-equipped to cook up a storm. The Wi-Fi is solid too, making streaming a breeze.

Before we just started our journey to this house we were already asked very kindly by the property owners if we needed anything since we indicated that we would come over with our baby, this is and was a really nice gesture. The house and its surroundings are amazing, the house and all the rooms were very clean and well taken care of. The garden is huge and the private area on the river is everything you can wish for. Privacy on the property was perfect, if we wanted to we could always ask for help or anything from the very friendly owners. Photos on the website do not show the nice shower upstairs! Clean-calm-beautifull surroundings! We will come back for sure!

The house was nicely decorated and the dining, kitchen, and sitting area were all nice and comfortable. The sanitary facilities were a completely different story. The toilets were running, and there was no shower curtain in one bathroom. The quality of the beds was good, but the bedrooms were either too hot or damp. All the garden furniture was broken. The so-called concierge, whom one supposedly can turn to with questions, was extremely rude. She even hung up on us, saying she was fed up with our queries. The house is on a very busy road, not suitable for pedestrians. The owner of the two adjoining houses is not careful about who he rents his places to. A group of 8 German men on a drinking weekend with festival-level music was not easy to tolerate. When the weather is nice and the terraces are used, you can hear all the conversations of the neighbors, much like in a poorly managed campsite. It took four months to get our warranty back, with over 50 messages back and forth with Belvilla. I really hope they have taken the property off their site. If not, I recommend the house only to groups who plan to drink themselves into oblivion so they won't care about the house not meeting standards.

Our teenage children spent most of their time in and around the river, swimming and stand-up paddling (we had brought boards with us, and later we could also use the landlords' canoes). There are also many well-described hiking routes around the magical town of Bruniquel. For people who need less rest and more action, it could be a bit lonely - for us, however, the seclusion and tranquility were perfect. Tip for the journey: from the embankment it does not go down the river, but on the other side, what seems illogical at first. The path then leads through an underpass under the riverside road.
