We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in La Pampa in Cesseras. The villa has a fantastic location, ideal for enjoying peace and nature, and above all, the beautiful view. The many possible seating areas around the house are a pleasant bonus: there is always a spot where it is delightful to linger, both in and out of the sun. The terrace around the pool also offers a stunning view. The bar with a fridge close to the pool was a nice surprise! The many trees on the grounds provide cooling shaded areas, but there is certainly also enough space for sunbathers.

What a beautiful location! The cottage is very quiet with a beautiful view. We initially had some difficulties in finding the house, as our GPS had problems recognizing the coordinates. Moreover, you cannot see the house from the street. That is why we describe the route for future guests, so that everyone can immediately enjoy a carefree holiday: If you come from Olonzac, you have to follow the road upwards in a large yellow mailbox, direction Fauzan. You will encounter a number of hairpin bends, but even if you think you are already too far, you just have to keep driving. At some point you have to turn right, to the D10E1. A hundred meters further, you come to a Y-junction, where you keep right. That way you drive straight onto a wooden gate with a long driveway. That's your house! The domain had a large, beautiful garden, which allowed our dog to go on an adventure. If you want to go shopping, you always have to take the car, but within 5 minutes you are in Olonzac, where there are several bakeries. If you are looking for a supermarket, we recommend Intermarché in La Redorte. It was considerably cheaper than the Casino in Olonzac. Do not forget to enjoy the beautiful nature with every car ride! The cottage had all the necessary facilities. You could even receive Dutch and Belgian TV channels. The weather gods were favorable to us, so we spent a lot of time at the pool, which is definitely the biggest asset of this location. If we have to express a point of criticism, it is that we would like to appreciate a personal welcome, which was not the case here. Although the owner is available by phone. We have certainly had a successful holiday!

The house is more beautiful and larger than the photos make it seem. The view behind the house is beautiful. At the pool, the view to the mountains is somewhat blocked by a number of shrubs. Swimming pool itself is fine. Maintenance may be a little better The nearby old town of Minerve is highly recommended, where you can walk through the dry riverbed in the summer months. An evening walk over the old city walls of Carcassonne is also fun. The beach is about an hour's drive. a big plus for this house.

We enjoyed our stay on La Pampa for 14 days. The house was fully equipped and complete privacy with great views. The pool was very pleasant, quite large and quite deep, nice to swim in. For people with walking difficulties or older, a railing in the pool would be a godsend. You can't hold on to anything now! You could walk well and the very beautiful town of Minerve is well worth a visit and it is actually around the corner. Ideale had a holiday! Els.

Prima villa. Mooi groot terrein. Helaas was het zwembad overdag niet te gebruiken als gevolg van een werpen- en bijenplaag. Alleen 's morgens-voreg en 's avonds konden we het zwembad een beetje gebruiken. Punten van aandacht: De lampen in de woonkamer geven eigenlijk te weinig licht. De afstandsbediening voor de NL-TV is niet de kleine, maar juist de grote zwarte afstandsbediening. In het stopcontact van de Wifi zit iets los. Als je het beweegt valt de stroom voor de Wifi weg. Ik ben er niet toe gekomen het te repareren.

Prima villa. Mooi groot terrein. Helaas was het zwembad overdag niet te gebruiken als gevolg van een werpen- en bijenplaag. Alleen 's morgens-voreg en 's avonds konden we het zwembad een beetje gebruiken.

Punten van aandacht: De lampen in de woonkamer geven eigenlijk te weinig licht. De afstandsbediening voor de NL-TV is niet de kleine, maar juist de grote zwarte afstandsbediening. In het stopcontact van de Wifi zit iets los. Als je het beweegt valt de stroom voor de Wifi weg. Ik ben er niet toe gekomen het te repareren.
