Resting in Finsterbergen, in the heart of the Thuringian Forest, this is a 1-bedroom holiday home. Both the terrace and garden are great for hosting barbecue evenings. Up to 3 guests, a couple with a toddler or friends can stay here.
Finsterbergen is a health resort with no through traffic. A lot of relaxation opportunities are in the vicinity. During summer, the region is perfect for hiking and in winter, it is very suitable for cross-country skiing. Popular trip destinations include Oberhof (30 km), Eisenach (30 km), Erfurt (50 km), Gotha (17 km), Weimar (66 km), and Inselsberg (16 km). Town center, public transport, restaurants, and supermarkets are at a distance of 0.7 km.
Your holiday home is on the edge of the forest, immersed in tranquility. The living room has wood-burner for spreading the warmth, besides the electric heating facility. A children's bed is present, while the cot and high chair can be requested for free. Parking space available.

The house was really very clean and there was everything you could need. The landlords are also very nice. However, there was unfortunately a mishap with the toilet and the drain.

Hebbn We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday. Beautiful nature, (yet) few tourists. We run in the Netherlands from A to B end of the day tired and burned.

Well-equipped and clean holiday home, where everything is there. In a very quiet area, it is inaudibly quiet. There are beautiful walks to make, in addition, Gotha is attractive to visit the castle and not to forget Erfurt a nice city to go to.

KIEM.EEN CLEAN BEAUTIFUL APARTMENT LOCATED IN A DEAD END road.We COULD USE THE GARDEN AND DESPITE THE RAIN WE BOTH ON TOP OF THE BALCONY AND DOWN IN THE GARDEN ON AN INDOOR AREA MANY HOURS OUTSIDE DOORGEBRACHT.DE OWNER WAS FRIENDLY BUT DEFINITELY GAVE OUR PRIVACY. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR REST SEEKERS BUT BIG CITIES LIKE ERFURT GOTHA EISENACH WEIMAR AND ARE DEFINITELY WORTH TO VISIT.

A visit to the cities of Gotha and Erfurt are worth the effort.

if you like peace and quiet, this is a great location. The house has been furnished with great care. You can if you want to eat out every day. If it rains, you just take your stuff upstairs and go sit on the balcony. The interior of the house is fine. The sofa in the living room is not quite of this time, but that does not further afbreuk.Keuken is equipped with the necessary conveniences such as dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, plates, etc. for several days. You do not have the dishes every night doen.Vanuit Finsterbergen you all the interesting places in the region ranges: Weimar, Eisenach, Schmalkalden. Gotha, etc. It is also a great area for walking: several hiking available.For a family with children, it is less suitable.

The setting is lovely, walking about and to many beautiful towns. The cottage is not suitable for tall people because of the low doorways. But otherwise neat cottage with lots of peace and privacy.
