This cosy wooden holiday home in Waltershausen, Thuringia in Germany can accommodate upto 6 people. Built entirely of wood and is situated at the edge of Fischbach, a village surrounded by woods in the heart of the Thüringer forest, it offers privacy and tranquility. Its isolated location on a private terrain with garden furniture makes it the ideal family home.
It is also an ideal spot for walkers and nature lovers, who will find many popular destinations in the area, such as the famous Rennsteig and the 950 mtrs high Insel Mountain. During winter, both the Insel Mountain and the famous Oberhof also offer great winter-sport facilities.
The home is centrally heated, there are two bedrooms on the first floor with double and single beds. In the living room on the ground floor, there is a charming fireplace, and the open kitchen is well-equipped.
The nearest airport is about 29 kms away.

We were in June 2012 in this beautiful Naturstammhaus that of all amenities. The scenery is beautiful, lots of cultural excursions, but if you want peace then you do not go far, in the garden is an oasis of tranquility. Shops 5 minutes away by car. Eisenach, Bach Museum and the Wartburg, Erfurt, Mühlheim, Arnstadt, Weimar to Buchenwald. Nice villages Ilmenau, Schmalkalden and Waltershausen. We have still not seen everything there and think about this region again to bezoeken.De owners of this magnificent treasure house of people and nothing is too much.

The tree trunk house was actually even more beautiful than in the photos. The location, simply fantastic! We were greeted on arrival very friendly by the owner family and accompanied to the house. The house itself is almost everything available (for example, coffee, tea, filter bags, spices, kitchen rolls etc.). The house is ideal for activists (hiking, biking) but also just let the mind dangle. We will definitely go back again. The family pipe, many thanks for the very nice holiday, we could spend here.

A week in June 2015.We, 4 adults, have had a great week. The weather was bad. It's a great house, perhaps to a small refrigerator for 4 or more persons. But wonderfully quiet, no WiFi, no DVD .... miss you either. On the front yard adjoins an outdoor theater, if there is a show that you have only to take. And otherwise you do take a look? Lovely walking in the area and good food at the restaurant almost crawling distance. With cold nights nice the stove, the wood costs you nothing. The dog also super nice!

A perfect location for those looking for relaxation with very hospitable owners. The interior of the house is cozy and luxe.Er should be taken into account that about 20 meters beside the house another house stands. Moreover, there is an outdoor theater adjacent to the front yard, where in summer activities may be held. We were here during our stay no problems. All in all highly recommended.

We have a nice holiday over. The location was very good. It was very quiet. The only drawback is that the fridge for 4 people is a little bit too small but I'm fine. Eisenach, Castle / zoo tambach are worth waard.Groetjes of the white family from belgium

Opinion sets it down next to the house no car neer.Want within an hour we went by ambulance to the hospital and the holiday was somewhat different than we expected.

Even with two teenagers (16 and 14) it is nice to go here, there are plenty of excursions. In the house are a lot of folders and tips. down the road to the cottage is a good restaurant and something verop another. We will definitely go back.

We were received very friendly by the landlords, who live very close. After a brief briefing, we could use the beautiful and quiet, located on the outskirts, located Naturstammhaus, for a week, as a wonderful base for our holiday activities. Very beautiful house right on the woods. Complete and well maintained inventory. You can immediately start a walk or bike ride from the house. A good (buy) restaurant within walking distance but a shop you have to get into the car (or want to walk 6km). We were here in the winter with lots of snow, which was exceptional in the local population. Snow chains are recommended (but not required, you can leave the car down) for the steep climb to the house (but 100m but can be very slippery slippery in snow). The dog has to be the very sense.

We were impressed by the nearby mountain stage and the associated small park. Everything is very clean and well maintained. This also applies to the surrounding forest. It's great to wander n fun, no matter which direction you choose. \\ R \\ nBesonders liked the panoramic trail (to Tabarz, about 10 km).

The house is very special and you can only feel comfortable. We are a week with dog hiking been there. The trails go directly go outside the house. But Schmalkalden, Eisenach and Erfurt are within easy reach. Fischbach is a small dreamy place for people looking for their beautiful peace!

The nature tribal house is a beautiful and cozy and well furnished cottage, where we immediately felt at home. We were lucky with the weather: enough snow for hours to sledge on the Inselsberg and the Rennsteig (about 10 minutes away by car) and it was a few days cold, as "n-11graden daytime. Thank the large beautiful fireplace is in the holiday quickly warm and cozy. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. You can free lots of wood would get in the barn, if you want. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and uncomplicated. Nearby there is lots to see and visit (rich history). In short: a must, we believe! We would like to go back in that beautiful nature tribe house!
