Both for sports and culture lovers the area offers around Schiltach a great offer. Popular destinations include the Lake Constance, Mainau Island, the Europa Park and other interesting cities.

The cottage is located very centrally, you can in all directions by bus and train (Konuskarte!). Many cities and charming villages in the (immediate) environment. A car you have with this Konus Card hardly necessary. Beautiful hiking trails, good restaurants and cozy cafes. The house gives an instant & quotthuisgevoel ". The view from the large balcony / terrace is fantastic. Spacious living room and bedroom, plenty of storage space in the kitchen is everything you need. The only downside might be that the dining room is a bit dark (you should always have the lamp). The road to the little house that is quite steep, it could be. Difficult for people who have difficulty walking

This cottage is in a great location. From your balcony you look over the historic town of Schiltach. We were received most welcome by Regine on 23 September 2017. In one of the previous reviews we read the bed that sank. Well, we are very critical of the mattresses etc. But it is certainly not a matter of any sacking. In addition, this cottage was super clean and offered a lot of comfort. This location has many opportunities for the tourist who loves Germany, nature and culture. If possible, we will definitely be back

Very friendly reception from our hostess, Regine. The only problem, and albeit a very small one, was with the toaster and Regine couldn't have been more helpful in quickly sorting it out. The photo from the balcony on the website does not do it justice - the owner needs to sort that. We have stayed at quite a few holiday homes in France and Germany and the view was the best ever. The flat is very comfortable, cosy and well equipped. It's just a few minutes to the train station (downhill which is fine - I'm 67, very unfit, and found it a bit challenging at the end of the day with the walk back up but I managed it - did me good, actually!) We stayed for 2 weeks and in the last week, it was nice to have a break from driving each day by travelling by train to Offenburg, Freiburg and Baden Baden. The walk into Schiltach is less than 10 minutes and what a beautiful town it is. We only ate out once, at the Gasthof Sonne - the reviews were mainly good. Mein host seemed a little bit dour at first but he mellowed much as the evening went on and we really warmed to him as he seemed to to us - a lot of locals ate there which says something. My wife had the steak and I had the Schnitzel - she said her meal was excellent and she's a gourmet cook and baker (what a waste - my favorite meal is double egg and chips!!) We tried Gasthof zum Weissen Rossle first but were told we needed a reservation and that was on a weekday - the reviews of this restaurant are excellent so would suggest considering it and maybe booking a table there. For English people coming here, here's my advice for what it's worth we live in west London, 95 miles and 1hr 45 mins from Dover - got the 0825 ferry from Dover to Calais on the Friday, docked at ca 1100 French time (except it didn't - there was a medical emergency 30 mins out and the ferry had to rtn to Dover so we lost ca one and a half hrs!!) and on to Aachen - stayed at Mercure Aachen Europaplatz, Joseph von Goerres Strasse21, 52068 Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, excellent hotel and very reasonable price with lots of parking.Using Michelin Via website, which I can't recommend enough, Calais to Schiltach 502 miles, 467 of which are on toll free motorways, 8hrs 32 mins. Calais to Aachen 216 miles, 207 on motorways, 3hrs 56 mins. Aachen to Schiltach 290 miles, 259 0n motorways, 4hrs 57mins. So, I think I got the mix re miles and time each day just right. If you follow in our footsteps, enjoy - I'm sure you will.

We have two wonderful weeks in the Black Forest spent. We are well captured by the owner (Regine). She gave us all the information we needed and also took the time for us. We could call at any time. That is very welcoming. However, this was not necessary. In particular, the child-friendly balcony we found beautiful and the kitchen is very functional and beautiful than the picture. There's so much aanwezig.De bedroom was really big. The only disadvantage was that the bed creaked. The view from the cottage was very nice. So beautiful, we had not previously experienced. An excellent choice to book with Belvilla and apartment Panoramablick Schiltach rent.

The property is highly recommended both in terms of location and equipment. Large terrace with stunning views of the town Schiltach. An advantage is also present information on the apartment. A week passed and still stay so much can not do.

We had been about 35 years for the third time on holiday in the Black Forest. Once in Wolfach, once in Schonach and now in Schiltach. We took advantage of the opportunity to travel with public transportation (complimentary). We have several trips made to eg Offenburg, Freiburg, Triberg and Rottweil (recommended). We had for the third time we visited the area in the herftsperiode always nice weather. We were nicely welcomed by the hostess and enjoyed the accommodation.
Iain Smead
Comfortable, clean and well appointed accommodation offering beautiful views. Facilities are excellent and has everything you need for your stay. The family who own the property and the lady who manages the accommodation do all they can to ensure that you have a pleasant stay. This is the third we have had the opportunity to stay at the property and we will certainly return.
Eric Blundell
Lots of local walks, also walking to surrounding villages and easy and free to get back with Konus card. We visited most of larger towns and cities with the Konus card, Karlsrue, Freiburg, Freudenstadt etc. Regina (our host), was friendly and helpful.

The best apartment we have made to date with Belvilla. More than fresh and a wonderful balcony where we had breakfast every day and spent. Until the late hours Lots of lovely walks (very spicy) different towns we visited had the bad luck that one was working on the track and could not take the train. Nice town good food, perhaps less suitable for people with walking difficulties but the view more than makes good and it's the black forest and there is almost nothing flat!

Beautiful location, Schiltach is a very nice small town. Excellent reception by the hostess. Plenty to do and see in the area, Wolfach with glasblaserij, Freudenstadt with z "s famous market square, Hausach the layout of the Schwartzwaldbahn and also close to the Black Forest Freilichtmuseum Vogtsbauernhof. And towards Bap Rippoldsau-Schapbach a beautiful bears care park. Oh , a visit to Alpirsbach is worth (brewery, chocolate). And of course mountains everywhere, streams and forest!
Dick van den Berg
Nice house with beautiful views over Schiltach! We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and many fun places like Rotweil, Alpirsbach, Gutach, Freiburg and Triberg.Er is much to do in the area, such as a brewery visit, the tallest waterfall in Germany and a 1200 meter long rodelbaan.Schiltach has a real cozy feel with nice restaurants and plenty of shops with 3 bakeries and supermarkets sufficiently short away. The house is nicely furnished and has a balcony. The house is built on a hill and therefore has a nice uitzicht.Tip: buy a hiking in the local bookstore and take a nice walk through the Black Forest!

We had a great holiday in a beautiful royal apartment in Schiltach. Everything within walking distance and a Konus card for public transport! We used the train a lot! From the large balcony you have a beautiful view of the town. Beautiful museums, all worth seeing. In short, highly recommended!!!

Not to be missed! Spacious home, large covered balcony (also sit outside in the rain!) With beautiful views. The house is very clean and adequately equipped and the reception was friendly. Quiet location (short) walk from the marketplace, restaurants, shops and supermarket. Schiltach is a very nice town with four small museums and various hiking, but the scale tourism outside the door managed to keep. Highlights of the Black Forest (Freiburg, Wutachschlucht, Feldberg) are a bit further away, 1-1.5 hours drive. We have had a wonderful week at this cozy house!
Nicolas BAUDRY
The small town of Schiltach is a good starting point for exploring the Black Forest. The center is beautiful and ancient. The "comfortable apartment has" a view of the old town. It just 5 minutes walk from the center. There is a certain number of "attractions available in the area including several museums. Moreover, it is easy" access to the forest trails starting from Schiltach.

The cottage looked just as nice and neat than the picture "s. You have there absolute peace and privacy at the cottage. You should be fine on foot you want to come running at the cottage, in the village it was also very quiet. however opportunities to eat out for shopping, you need the car. Lovely place from there to make. kinds of trips he has unfortunately already booked out this year otherwise we would definitely go there again to go!

Schiltach is a beautiful town with beautiful half-timbered houses. From the apartment you have a great view and look out on the town. You walk from the apartment nice town, where 4 museums and several nice cafes and restaurants. To come to the apartment you walk up a staircase was built against the rocks where wild strawberries grow - delicious! The manager, Regina, is a sweet woman who is extremely helpful. The apartment is clean, the balcony was very large and the kitchen is very well equipped.
Willem De Pruis
The town of Schiltach is very nice, but very quiet. Unfortunately, there is virtually nothing to do. If you keep tourism outside the door know that going to a certain extent at the expense of fun. This will of course be different views. You go only to the rest, then you're good. Landscape view it is a fine setting.

We were warmly welcomed and well made. The property was clean, very comfortable, well equipped and nicely located. Too bad that the washing machine was broken and the beds were sagging. In addition, everything was fine. Also nice were the free travel in the area the nearby station.

A great house, great views over the town. You do not have to drive to the town which is usually in the homes of Belvilla is the case. The town has a railway station, which we have received a free ticket for 2 people, so you can go through the entire Black Forest travel, what we have experienced as very pleasant. This house we definitely rent again.
