Within walking distance of the holiday home is a campsite with restaurant Schellingtal where you can eat well. Bad Pyrmont is a beautiful, cozy place with a beautiful palm garden, castle with museum and terraces. Hameln, Schloss Hämelschenburg and Detmold are worthwhile and a boat trip on the Schiedersee is recommended.

very nice and well-kept holiday home, comfortable beds and heating worked well. everything present towels, dish soap, sponges, sufficient toilet paper, assortment of tea, dishwasher and washing machine. everything fine, there could just be a few more small spoons and a bit larger bowls for soup. but those are just details. also very nice that there was a board game about the area and many brochures. Our little dog was also very welcome, just keep in mind that the garden is not fenced and that the palm trees are only out at the end of April in the spa park. We couldn't have imagined that those large trees were in pots and brought inside every winter. But the zoo is also very nice and our little dog was welcome there. We will come back in the spring or summer because Bad Pyrmont is very beautiful and nice, just like this holiday cottage.
