Overall assessment

A very nice house in a great location. Furnishings rather rustic, but very cozy. We were there with our two dogs and the environment was made for it. Shopping and restaurants are already a few kilometers away. The bedroom can only be reached via a very steep and narrow stairs and is therefore certainly rather unsuitable for one or the other group of people.
We will definitely come back.

We have a wonderful rest next week, a lot of walking and exploring the area, shopped in Hameln, (highly recommended) further enjoyed the peace.

Beautiful house with the possibility of walks from the house. Attractive in the short distance fledged towns like Bad Pyrmont and Hameln lie.

We enjoyed our 10 day stay in this small but nice house. We had a lovely walk in the area and many animals may see that we have not seen in the wild, as vossen.Bad Pyrmont is a nice town with many nice restaurants and cafes. The age is a bit high but this makes it very cozy cottage sleeps aan.Het bed in this lovely and we always have a good hole in the day sleeping. With the silence of the environment is that to do well. The television we just missed at the games of the Netherlands during the European Championships. It was really slow.

Thank you for allowing us to arrive early.

Cozy cottage in a small hamlet. Wonderfully quiet and lots of privacy. Perfect size and well equipped for 4 people. We were received very hospitably with a bottle of wine, fresh plums and walnuts from the area. Espresso machine was ready for use and the wood stove could be lit immediately. We also made full use of the wood-burning stove, because the weather was nice to sit by the stove in the evening. There is much to do in the area, both many hiking trails, but also culturally. the expectations were the mattress, which was a bit too soft for us, although the lighting was very cosy, but just a little too little to sit down in the evening reading or drawing. We also had a great time and definitely consider coming back.

We were warmly welcomed. A nice cozy house, with a large garden on the edge of the forest and a large terrace. There is plenty of walking possibilities from the cottage. Nice cities nearby. Beautiful walks made in the Teutoburgerwald. Worth repeating.

We were for the second time in Eichenborn and again very nice reception. It was a bottle of wine for the guests on the table and coffee beans for the great Kaffeeautomat.Haben nice 12 days spent. We are looking forward to next year.

We have a nice holiday, in beautiful surroundings. Bad Pyrmont is definitely a must to give it a visit, especially the park was beautiful. The weather was poor but unfortunately you did not say it. What we think may be a minus point for the elderly who experience mobility problems and small children up the stairs to the bedrooms and the stone steps to the cottage. But otherwise it was a good shelter. Fam. Terol 07/14/12 to 21/07/12

We were well received by the keyholder, a strong friendly woman. The accommodation might have been cleaner, but that is also the only point of criticism. For the rest it was a very nice, cozy and warm house. Only the stairs are not suitable for people who have less mobility, rather style. Fine stay with a small family, (max 4 people + child what fits in camp bed). Terrace was also more than spacious, with a section covered, so you can still sit outside with rain. The area is wonderfully quiet and well wooded. All in all a wonderful holiday in a lovely house in a lovely spot!

It is a quiet, wooded area with plenty of walking opportunities. Our welcome was incredibly friendly and the house cozy and cozy. If you want to go to a village in the neighborhood, or want to do something other than walking .. then a car is a must. Nice house, but as often written, it should be taken into account that the stairs to the bedroom is very steep. The garden also runs pretty quickly, which can also bring a challenge. Our dog was not bothered by it and was able to play around on many square meters. All in all, worth repeating. The weather (sun and 27 degrees) will also have played a part in this.

We were there from Thursday to Saturday. Many walks in the immediate area. Fossils sought (and found), trip to Hamelin. If we had been there longer were (longer) hikes started with a car ride. Tip check electric heaters or outstanding. That slurping stream and the wood stove you will get much better warm.

A warm welcome by the "owner" with a clear explanation of the property. The cottage is cozy and very cozy and tastefully decorated. Back to basics ie no TV, no internet and no coverage for a mobile phone. Internet and TV we have missed, but I had to get used to it not being accessible to the home front. The cottage is in our opinion not suitable for the elderly or for people who have difficulty walking. Also, I would not like to sit with small children. The staircase is very steep and landing above the latter target unsafe. The house can be heated by a wood stove (very cozy) and there are a number of electric heaters. We have undertaken a great deal because there is much to see in the area. Hameln, Höxter, Einbach, Bodenwerder etc. Beautiful towns with beautiful facades. We had our E-bikes but have it cycled once. Besides the fact that the weather is not to borrow, they have in this area such as a beautiful bike paths in the Netherlands. You ride mostly along the way and that was another time much hillier than we thought. Along the Weser is a 500 km long cycle path and it is flat. We look back on a wonderful vacation in which we and the hectic bustle of t

Pleasant stay in quiet natural surroundings. Nice wooden house, comfortably furnished. Stairs to bedrooms can be difficult for the elderly who are infirm or very young children. Hiking trails from the front

This house is down a hill against a stream to. From the house you can into the woods. Wilhelmstal is a hamlet in a valley near the village of Eichenborn, which lies on the plateau. In our holiday flourished the yellow rape and that is a beautiful sight. This region is part of the route of the brothers Grimm fairy tale. Hameln is a beautiful city with a car-free center. Parking in the Gallery, a modern shopping mall. Follow the Weser is a beautiful highway. Hämelschenburg is a beautiful castle from 1600. Bad Pyrmont is a real city hotel, including spa. Luegde was like a museum with a beautiful park along the river Bucket. Schwalenberg is an artists' village with half-timbered houses. Magnificent views of the Köterberg at the TV Tower. Polle has an ancient ruin. Holzminden has a scent trail. Höxter you better avoid, because the traffic moves through the city. Do not you want to do something, then you can sit on the terrace and read a good book.

Wonderful holiday in a very quiet, hard to find place in the middle of the hills and forests of the Weser Uplands. The road to the little house has been a real experience. With nice weather on the porch, with cold weather nice inside with the wood stove.
Hans Reijnen
We were told that it's actually a house where intended for families, but with four grown men went fine. The cabin is spacious enough. Reseption is the staircase, it is quite steep so not recommended if you are are less good. View had the porch to green and the only sounds you hear are the birds. Relax so!
Evelien Van Baaren
Lovely peaceful place, beautiful wooded area, many hiking and cycling opportunities. Many altitude and the stairs to the bedrooms requires some effort. House is tastefully decorated and relaxation. No T.V., or DVD 's and good WiFi. Furthermore, there is all that is needed. Comfortable veranda where you can sit the evening delicious.

Arrival, welcome. Good explanation about the ups and downs. Wood stove is delicious, especially on cold days. The peace and quiet is delicious. Beautiful natural surroundings. Plenty to do in the area.

The cottage was simple but complete. I would not let children go, the stairs are very unsafe. Hot water comes from the boiler and the shower was not getting the proper temperature, very hot or cold. The location of the cottage is nice, you can make from the door to the most beautiful walks.
Geert Schalk
Very beautiful hilly area with great surroundings. House is very beautiful in the valley and in a beautiful bushy environment. It is the perfect opportunity to relax by taking a walk or just sitting outside and enjoying nature!

The stairs to the bedrooms took some getting used to in the beginning, but otherwise we enjoyed the peace and the surroundings. The cottage is not large, but it is very nice to stay in and in the colder evenings the cozy wood stove provides sufficient heat. Also nice: the welcome package with coffee and something extra.
Thomas Swaak
Beautiful, quiet, majestically peaceful location. Completely hidden in an evergreen valley. Magical walks everywhere, picturesque villages and a wonderful sauna in Bad Pyrmont. Cozy house, warm and cozy. We had an unforgettable holiday!

The cottage is cozy and fairly comfortable but smaller than the photo "s suggest. The view is disappointing and the garden just a grassy slope. For walks in the area did you first need the car. All in all it was not what we expected.
