Worried about the noise from the nearby road, it turned out to be unproblematic. I really slept well in a cozy bedroom and noticed no disturbances. The kitchen had everything we needed for quick meals, which was great given our busy schedule.

Arrived late and found everything easy to navigate. With parking right there, it was uncomplicated to settle in after a whole day of driving. I even felt safe walking around at night thanks to the well-lit paths nearby.

It quickly became apparent that the central heating worked well and kept us warm on cooler nights. We enjoyed cooking together with friends in the kitchen, where every utensil seemed to be at hand. We particularly liked the proximity to hiking trails, simply going outside and exploring.

Surroundings: Wonderful for hiking, very quiet location, PLUS: train station in two minutes walking distance. From the Erzgebirgsbahn was in the apartment to hear nothing, drives every hour (on the weekend two hourly).
