The town Oelsnitz in the Ore Mountains is a mining town. The apartment is located on the outskirts of Oelsnitz in a very quiet area. The ground-floor apartment is comfortably and fully furnished.
A bakery and other shops are nearby. A small restaurant (5 minutes on foot) takes care of any hunger and thirst. Kilometres of bike- and hiking paths run through the diversified landscape. There's a lot to discover: Chemnitz with its museum of natural history, the industry museum, or Lichtenstein with its Miniwelt (Mini World). We also recommend taking a trip to the upper Ore Mountains (Annaberg-Buchholz, Schwarzenberg, Frohnauer Hammer).

wonderfully quiet and well-kept location for 2 people, possibly 1 child is also good to doen.Prima base for fun (walking) trips in Erzgebirge and visits to towns.

The arrival was fine. The lady was present on the tide as it was known. The cottage was fully equipped. Cooking yourself in the kitchen does not matter. The bathroom perfect. The bed was fine. The homeowners are very friendly and helpful. The area was quiet and very enjoyable. Big cities not too far away eg Chemwitz was removed 1/2 hour from Oelsnitz. There you can buy everything you may need. Might have needed Shops in attendance. In Zwickau, the automobile museum of designer August Horst, Audi - Bmw, DKW and the Trabanten museum is definitely worth the effort. Also Czech Republic with the big city of Kalovy Vary (Karlsberg) is definitely worth it and only 1.5 hours away from Oelsnitz. Going out can go in any village. It is certainly not expensive and at every big store like the Kaufland shopping center there are many possibilities for a low budget. With us, the Greek restaurant ran out. Very delicious food for little money and still close to the door nl Oelsnitz. It was definitely a vacation to go more often. We really had a vacation.

We felt very well looked after. The area is beautiful and should definitely be explored. Even the reasonably short distances to the big cities are an advantage. The hosts are very accommodating and are on hand with help and advice. In the apartment, nothing is missing.
