Complete apartment above a former fire station. Everything you need is available, you have a roof terrace and you are close to the beautiful and quiet center of Watou.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming apartment. It was spacious enough for our family, and the kids loved having their own little sofa in the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the location was fantastic for exploring local breweries.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the pet-friendly policy, as we brought our dog with us. The area was quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.

This apartment was just what we were looking for! Clean, modern, and in the heart of Watou, which makes it easy to explore the village. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making sure we felt at home. We will definitely consider returning during the Arts Festival!

Keibilk: we arrived and the key was on the door. Everything was there that was needed. I can't think of anything that wasn't there ... and I would have needed. Everything is compact. For an outdoor holiday (as we planned it) this was good enough: breakfast and dinner "at home" and the rest on foot. Within driving distance of shops (we chose Loker because the road was blocked elsewhere) to buy trifles is also possible, it is very nice to look outside. At nightfall you see the lights on the hillside ... You imagine yourself abroad. Bed sleeps well, We open the bedroom window with the curtain in front. The shower water was a bit too hot, we ALMOST burned our hands trying to make that thing less hot, but that's a small thing we can blame ourselves on. Also behind the house there are things you may need, but that is more to work :-)

A super good reception by Ann. Chocolates on the table and beer in the refrigerator. Apartment was brought in the Christmas spirit. You immediately feel welcome. Very well maintained and a super pleasant terrace. In watou there are also some nice eateries close to the apartment. Perfect base to visit Ypres and Poperinge. And certainly not forgetting the Saint Bernard brewery, just 2 km from the apartment. In short, we enjoyed it. An address to remember!

It was fantastic to relax and recharge the batteries.
We had dinner in the oven house and it was also delicious. Of course we also went to the west to take this with us. And also included the Sint Bernardus brewery. It was really wonderful.
And a very friendly owner.

Accommodation was very clean and nice. You stay above an old Fire station which is also the decoration of the apartment. There is a rooftop terrace which is pretty big. You will stay very close to the center of Watou which already has a lot of nice terraces and a small supermaket where you can buy fresh breakfast in the morning. If you have the energy after a day of sightseeing you can make a 30 min walk (Google says 30min we made it in 20min) to St Bernardus brewery with rooftop terrace!

We will recommend this apartment to all people who want to visit this area.

We had a great time in the West Flanders apartment. The living area was bright and inviting, perfect for our family of four. We appreciated having our own workspace, which made it easy to catch up on some work while enjoying the little weekend.

A very warm welcome. There was a delicious homemade rice cake ready for us and in the fridge for each a beer and a bottle of rosé. We did not use the latter but the beer was nice after our 1st walk. We also thought it was thoughtful that our satisfaction was asked later during our stay.The accommodation was superb (spacious, clean, new, decorated in a pleasant and practical style) except for 2 points: - we had to use the exhaust in the bathroom always on and keep the door and window open because of an unpleasant smell. The room was super clean so it was not there, maybe the sewer. - turning on the TV (and sometimes turning it off) was a disaster. 2 remote controls are required. The hostess had shown it to us on arrival, but it remained a gambling game. I chose to do without TV for a week, but my partner tackled the problem with a lot of persistence. The environment was great for people who like peace and quiet. You can walk great, Ypres (art and history) and the beach are not far. We understood from an operator that we were at the end of the season. After week 38 he would close his bar. When autumn begins, they don't expect many tourists in that area anymore and then it becomes very quiet for the tourists who are there.
