We made bike tours of several tens of kilometers in the area and were coming back with satisfaction at the cottage rustic, well-kept and decorated, nice garden, beautiful conservatory.

The cottage was cozy and comfortable. the beds upstairs were a little less quality. Nearby you can see a lot of the first war. the town of Ypres is also very historical.

Just like last year, a wonderfully quiet holiday. Friendly and efficient welcome. Everything you need is there. The living room is very personal and pleasantly decorated. The electric bicycles that are available are very pleasant for exploring the area. There are a lot of slopes towards Heuvelland, so that motor comes in handy! Cycled every day, to Kortrijk, to Diksmuide, to Ypres, to Kemmel!
Only the internet is quite slow. TV and radio are OK (only the WiFi repeater has to be placed some distance away from the radio, or there will be interference). There was another heat wave, and then it got very warm in the veranda. Fortunately there is a fan. Recommended for those who love peace and nature. I will definitely come back again!

Very friendly welcome from the homeowner. Compact house but everything is there. No dishwasher but that did not bother us. We had very good weather. Being able to live completely outside. Beautiful garden with geese and cows as neighbors. Enough exit possibilities such as hiking, cycling .... and sights of world war I.

Upon arrival we were in front of a close fence, but when we called the owner we got the code and he was there in a quarter. Prima cottage with lots of garden around. Not for nothing "t Bloemenhof. Lovely quiet rural setting, edge village, with cows, geese and chickens as neighbors.

Friendly reception. No waiting list for the payment of electricity and heating. There is upstairs very difficult to heat and upper chambers are not actually using. Quite claustrophobic, freezing in winter and no comfort. Downstairs nice room but the heating strikes several times to "night. (Apparently loads on" at night)

We thought that this cottage was very good. We would have liked to have had a kettle, we had to use the microwave oven to heat water for coffee and tea. A glass mixing bowl would have been useful too as well as a measuring jug. The situation was good, with easy access ro WW1 sites.

I had tried to contact the owner the day before to see if we cold pick up the keys earlier as our ferry docked early on, however I could not get an answer. We arrived at 2 to check we had the right address and there were some gardeners there who said to come back at 4 as the owner wasn't there. So we turned up at the stated time of 4pm (as it says on website)and no-one was there. No-one answered the phone on either of the numbers we had. We waited for two hours with two very tired and grumpy small children in the car outside the house. Someone arrived at 6 with the keys, we got no apology and they didn't speak English and we just about managed to understand that apparently her brother was on holiday and that's why no-one came with the keys. Given that we had booked the house 6 months earlier, this was a bad excuse and we were livid!! Not a great start! Then we had to put up with the cleaner for almost 2 hours at 8 the next morning as the house hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival either. The house description didn't state that the house was right next to a farm, and a field of cows. The sheer amount of flies that were there was like a plague and we could not have any of the doors open for fear of being overrun by them! The Mosquitos were ridiculous and my poor husband and baby got bit to death. At 4 every morning the cockerel started up and the cows mooing! The twin bedroom is in like an attic room, the steps are mega steep and even I struggled with them so our two toddlers had to sleep in with us. Not fun. Luckily the doors had locks so we kept the attic room and the cellar door locked. I would not recommend for a family with small kids, perhaps teens but not under age of 10. Ieper / Ypres was lovely and only a short drive - we didn't think much of Comines though and a lot of places seemed to be shut when we did venture in on a Friday and a Thursday. The beach at De Panne was also lovely and not too far. We would not stay here again... BELGIUM IS LOVELY but I'm afraid the house and the owners ruined our experience from the outset.

This is a lovely cottage in a peaceful country location.It is well kept and M.Coppin is a welcoming landlord.The extensive gardens are a real bonus (complete with geese!) and the new conservatory is a superb addition to the living space. We found that "t Bloemenhof" is located close to Ypres and World War 1 battlefields and also has easy access to motorways for longer trips to the coast, Bruges or France.We all loved the cottage and enjoyed our break there.It would be lovely to return there again sometime.

This is an adorable little house, ideally located on the Ypres Salient. The house is small and as it was winter we found it to be a little damp - but that did not detract from it's appeal. The kitchen facilities are adequate, although the lounge and dining room are rather small for a family (perhaps if we had visited in the summer months we would have spent more time outside & this would not have been a problem). Overall, we adored this little house & it's location.

There are many cemeteries and other WW1 memories nearby. Recommended in the area are the provincial domain of Palingbeek, the city of Ypres with museums and shopping, Passchendaele Memorial Center and the castle park around it. Kortrijk can also be reached by bike via a beautiful tour along the Leie. The only drawback with the warm summer weather was the conservatory effect of the veranda. That will be an advantage in the intermediate season 😊.

Key transfer went smoothly, the owner was there in 15 minutes, was friendly. Nice place to stay, the small kitchen lacked good cutting knives, good pans and drainer. No Dutch TV channels. Practically everything clean, bathroom corny and tiles not polished. Environment very nice. Beautiful nature and many historical sites about the Great War.

Prima Cottage. Only the house numbering on the Corte Wild Street was verwarrend.Vandaar we the occupant had used the error to the Walloon side at No. 87 stonden.Maar and was extremely aardig.Wij have immersed ourselves in the memorials and museums around WOI.Indrukwekkend.

the holiday was very successful only in warm weather 30-35 degrees in the house was terribly hot doordatde conservatory and the development completely in the sun and there was no possibility to close curtains or something andersde sun ward. The house was crowded with trinkets making your own things could not get rid. The house was also well maintained and clean.

A very nice house, very well protected. The upstairs bedroom is only accessible through a difficult accessible stairs. The garden is nice to sit. The couple goose belonging to the cottage is very attractive for everyday carry, they are also not lawaai.De environment is very interesting because of the many attractions include the First World War. The language border runs through the backyard.

"T Bloemenhof is a beautiful house with spacious garden in Hollebeke. Quietly situated between meadows with a private driveway. Clean, beautiful spacious garden, canopy for the car, delightful conservatory. Lots of privacy and secure environment by an electrically lockable gate. From" t Bloemenhof many opportunities for excursions such as Ieper (lovely and cozy), Lille in France is worth, the beautiful wide beach of De Panne / Belgian coast an hour's drive. In Ieper a fun amusement park / zoo "Bellewaerde" and many nearby hiking and cycling opportunities. "T Bloemenhof is highly recommended. The only thing we missed was Wifi (for our adolescent) and also for ourselves, so we forecast for that day / trips / tips / background could look. With Wifi Internet there was this house complete for us and a 10 worth, now we give it a 8-9.

My girlfriend and I had a great time together in this quiet romantic cottage. Garden was very nice (pity the weather was not as beautiful to enjoy it) The cottage is fully equipped. The conservatory is a lovely place to relax. When we arrived everything was neat clean and tidy. The owner of the house was also very helpful with any problems or questions. A real winner!

Super little house, ideal for two people but a bit small for four if you like lots of space. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. The house is situated in a small village, with a quiet and private location. It is a short drive(10 to 15 minutes) to the town of Ypres where restaurants and supermarkets can be found. The house is idealy situated for anyone wishing to visit the WW1 battlefields. My wife and myself both hope to return to this house soon!

"t Bloemenhof is a great house to stay with four people. A large garden, so you always can find a shadow or zonplekje. Sitting room, conservatory, kitchen and master bedroom all fine. (However, it would be nice if the owners what decorative touches were put down less, so there is more space to store your own) There is only one big negative in the attic -. where the twin beds are - no screens, so you are really flat stung by the mosquitoes! We told this to the owner, and also that there is definitely Velux horramen for sale. Hopefully he's going to buy this!

The cottage is beautifully situated and we hit it clean and attractively decorated to. R nThe owner also helps with love and attention to the garden, which is most enjoyable. R nWe especially enjoyed the conservatory on the sunny side where you again in good light seating unit can read even in colder or just look out. Because Hollebeke is near Ypres, this week we have a lot have been concerned with the First World War. You have to force you around the chilling history of this region with so many military cemeteries there also go far. To continue to think about it when they return home. The house was well maintained and beautiful to look at and located in a quite spot ,with animals and fresh air it was a good place to stay . I have just one small misgiving,if you are a tall person you might bang your head on door frames and roof space when in the bedrooms upstairs.

Just like last year, a wonderfully quiet holiday. Friendly and efficient welcome. Everything you need is there. The living room is very personal and pleasantly decorated. The electric bicycles that are available are very pleasant for exploring the area. There are a lot of slopes towards Heuvelland, so that motor comes in handy! Cycled every day, to Kortrijk, to Diksmuide, to Ypres, to Kemmel!
Only the internet is quite slow. TV and radio are OK (only the WiFi repeater has to be placed some distance away from the radio, or there will be interference). There was another heat wave, and then it got very warm in the veranda. Fortunately there is a fan. Recommended for those who love peace and nature. I will definitely come back again!

Very quietly located only the neighbors sometimes come over the wall or look through the wire, but these are also cozy cows, geese, ducks, chickens, ... Very friendly welcome from the homeowner. Compact house but everything is there. No dishwasher but that did not bother us. We had very good weather. Being able to live completely outside. Super little house, ideal for two people but a bit small for four if you like lots of space. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. The house is situated in a small village, with a quiet and private location. It is a short drive(10 to 15 minutes) to the town of Ypres where restaurants and supermarkets can be found. The house is idealy situated for anyone wishing to visit the WW1 battlefields. My wife and myself both hope to return to this house soon!

This is a lovely cottage in a peaceful country location.It is well kept and M.Coppin is a welcoming landlord.The extensive gardens are a real bonus (complete with geese!) and the new conservatory is a superb addition to the living space.
We found that "t Bloemenhof" is located close to Ypres and World War 1 battlefields and also has easy access to motorways for longer trips to the coast, Bruges or France.We all loved the cottage and enjoyed our break there.It would be lovely to return there again sometime.

"t Bloemenhof is a great house to stay with four people. A large garden, so you always can find a shadow or zonplekje. Sitting room, conservatory, kitchen and master bedroom all fine. (However, it would be nice if the owners what decorative touches were put down less, so there is more space to store your own) There is only one big negative in the attic -. where the twin beds are - no screens, so you are really flat stung by the mosquitoes! We told this to the owner, and also that there is definitely Velux horramen for sale. Hopefully he's going to buy this!

This is an adorable little house, ideally located on the Ypres Salient. The house is small and as it was winter we found it to be a little damp - but that did not detract from it's appeal. The kitchen facilities are adequate, although the lounge and dining room are rather small for a family (perhaps if we had visited in the summer months we would have spent more time outside & this would not have been a problem).

Overall, we adored this little house & it's location.

I had tried to contact the owner the day before to see if we cold pick up the keys earlier as our ferry docked early on, however I could not get an answer. We arrived at 2 to check we had the right address and there were some gardeners there who said to come back at 4 as the owner wasn't there. So we turned up at the stated time of 4pm (as it says on website)and no-one was there. No-one answered the phone on either of the numbers we had. We waited for two hours with two very tired and grumpy small children in the car outside the house. Someone arrived at 6 with the keys, we got no apology and they didn't speak English and we just about managed to understand that apparently her brother was on holiday and that's why no-one came with the keys. Given that we had booked the house 6 months earlier, this was a bad excuse and we were livid!! Not a great start! Then we had to put up with the cleaner for almost 2 hours at 8 the next morning as the house hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival either.
The house description didn't state that the house was right next to a farm, and a field of cows. The sheer amount of flies that were there was like a plague and we could not have any of the doors open for fear of being overrun by them! The Mosquitos were ridiculous and my poor husband and baby got bit to death. At 4 every morning the cockerel started up and the cows mooing!
The twin bedroom is in like an attic room, the steps are mega steep and even I struggled with them so our two toddlers had to sleep in with us. Not fun. Luckily the doors had locks so we kept the attic room and the cellar door locked. I would not recommend for a family with small kids, perhaps teens but not under age of 10.
Ieper / Ypres was lovely and only a short drive - we didn't think much of Comines though and a lot of places seemed to be shut when we did venture in on a Friday and a Thursday.
The beach at De Panne was also lovely and not too far.
We would not stay here again... BELGIUM IS LOVELY but I'm afraid the house and the owners ruined our experience from the outset.

"T Bloemenhof is a beautiful house with spacious garden in Hollebeke. Quietly situated between meadows with a private driveway. Clean, beautiful spacious garden, canopy for the car, delightful conservatory. Lots of privacy and secure environment by an electrically lockable gate. From" t Bloemenhof many opportunities for excursions such as Ieper (lovely and cozy), Lille in France is worth, the beautiful wide beach of De Panne / Belgian coast an hour's drive. In Ieper a fun amusement park / zoo "Bellewaerde" and many nearby hiking and cycling opportunities. "T Bloemenhof is highly recommended. The only thing we missed was Wifi (for our adolescent) and also for ourselves, so we forecast for that day / trips / tips / background could look. With Wifi Internet there was this house complete for us and a 10 worth, now we give it a 8-9.

Key transfer went smoothly, the owner was there in 15 minutes, was friendly. Nice place to stay, the small kitchen lacked good cutting knives, good pans and drainer. No Dutch TV channels. Practically everything clean, bathroom corny and tiles not polished. Environment very nice. Beautiful nature and many historical sites about the Great War.

Very quietly located only the neighbors sometimes come over the wall or look through the wire, but these are also cozy cows, geese, ducks, chickens, ... the holiday was very successful only in warm weather 30-35 degrees in the house was terribly hot doordatde conservatory and the development completely in the sun and there was no possibility to close curtains or something andersde sun ward. R nWe especially enjoyed the conservatory on the sunny side where you again in good light seating unit can read even in colder or just look out. Because Hollebeke is near Ypres, this week we have a lot have been concerned with the First World War. You have to force you around the chilling history of this region with so many military cemeteries there also go far. To continue to think about it when they return home. R nWe have nevertheless greatly enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the West Flanders.

A very nice house, very well protected. The upstairs bedroom is only accessible through a difficult accessible stairs. The garden is nice to sit. The couple goose belonging to the cottage is very attractive for everyday carry, they are also not lawaai.De environment is very interesting because of the many attractions include the First World War. The house was well maintained and beautiful to look at and located in a quite spot ,with animals and fresh air it was a good place to stay . I have just one small misgiving,if you are a tall person you might bang your head on door frames and roof space when in the bedrooms upstairs.
