A cosy boat in Merkem is what you are looking for to spend your ideal holiday. There are 6 bedrooms in the boat to host up to 15 guests. It has a spacious terrace for you to enjoy lovely views over the lowly situated brook lands of Merkem and Noordschote.
A lake lies 1000 m from your stay if you would like to explore the lakeside. You can get your essentials from the supermarket in 5 km. Dine out at the restaurant nearby just 9 km from the stay. The sea is 30 km away.
With the bicycles available, you can go on a fun ride through the town centre. To keep your kids comfortable, a high chair and children's bed are available on the boat. An open kitchen with an oven and microwave is in place for you to use.
The check-in begins from 4-6 PM and check-out could be done from 9-10 AM.

We really enjoyed a weekend out with the soccer team. We were served by the concierge, Bart. Everything was satisfactory. We would like to come back sometime.

Ideal for families, it is undisturbed, absolutely quiet, earth atmosphere in a nice house dismantled boat, we were at minus 10 degrees with 13 people there, it was cozy warm and comfortable. Attractions There are no end within 30 km We can imagine that to make time for swimming in summer temperatures. In any case, a stay-character experience for all family members.

Before the start of the trip, we noticed that the booking was for 2 ships, this is not in the offer. But we accepted that and didn't think it was a bad thing. When we arrived, however, the main boat was not the pictured boat with the terraces, but the second with a very small terrace.
On pictures from Google Maps, we also noticed before the trip that a ship had opening hours. This was also questioned at Belvilla and the answer was: "Yes, these are available to you during your stay. Nobody will disturb you."
This was not the case, Saturday and Sunday a ship was opened from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and drinks and food were served. The crowning glory was that on Sunday a camera team came to film the boat and the owner and he told us to be quiet for this time.
We also found that both boats smelled very musty and were very dirty. In our opinion, there are also major flaws on the boat with the terraces and we were glad that we weren't there with children.
In addition, there are only dry toilets on the main boat. Proper toilets are only available on the boat with decks and day trippers
The icing on the cake was that a chair collapsed on which one of us was sitting. We reported this and the host/owner arrived with a bill for 42 euros which we then failed to pay. Of course he deducted this from the deposit. It should be said that this is a chair that day tourists also sit on and the question arises whether they should have paid for the chair, due to the overall condition of the two boats, a previous defect in the chair cannot be ruled out. Due to the overall situation, 5 people in our group decided to leave on Sundays, the others stayed until Monday.

We have a nice long weekend spent on the boats. Nice one day dangers direction Diksmuide and "evening delicious dinner on board, but also a good skipper recommended restaurant.Brugge is really worth and the coast is very close! Highly recommended!

The cycling women have tasted this separate location. Even the snoring room was utilized. The ecological toilet caused a lot of hilarity. The house had a leutige atmosphere contribution, the rest we have amply supplemented.

It is not mentioned anywhere that there are two boats to sleep on. In addition, there is a café on the second boat between 2 and 7 p.m. We were 12 people and there was far too little cutlery, plates and glasses to properly cover the table, plus it is all a mess of crockery. Eating on board is almost impossible due to a lack of space. We will then have dinner. It is all not really cleaned.

We were well received and had access to the entire accommodation .. Staying in a boat was very special, with steep stairs to the living room, small rooms, special toilet, ... The area is beautiful, rural, quiet, water ,. .. and were lucky with the weather.

A boat is something different. The kids loved the super, and we greatly enjoyed the rest. Skippered by Bart were even the oldest kids at the helm. Only minus point the interior is here and ready for a makeover there. Thanks for the wonderful weekend!

On arrival we were especially shocked by the entrance you had to go through a hatch everything is old that is no problem but that it is just dirty and dirty. The trash cans were in the bathroom and toilet just full of the previous people the bottles drank. the previous occupants were still in the box bed
