First of all the website of belvilla doesn"t work properly and it was a bit of a hassle to get to my booking area and they had technical issues: I received an email that there was a pending cost for me to cover and when I checked my bookings all was covered.confusing and not assuring.

When I initially contacted the person responsible I first couldn"t reach anyone and received no answer. Then on the arrival day itself I did reach him but the guy could only speak French, 0 English (or other language) and he wasn"t very friendly. To me not very professional if working in the tourism industry and asking questions and checking out were a bit challenging. He asked of us for all the trash to be taken out (though I believe this to be part of the cleaning process for which we were charged of course.)

The house itself was ok. It was clean from what we could tell, but some beds and mattresses were in bad shape and very uncomfortable to sleep in. The water had to run for a few minutes because it was orange (probably oxygen from the tubes from not being used recently) , the water pressure was horrible and not all the rooms had warm water (Glad we didn"t stay there longer, only 2 nights).
The kitchen was ok equipped. But there could"ve been more dishes, the coffee machine wasn"t usable due to too much calcification, on the website it mentioned 4 microwaves, there was 1. The pots didn"t have lids, the pans were so badly scratched, I "m glad we brought some of our own.
I knew we had to bring towels and kitchen towels but toilet paper wasn't mentioned so when we arrived there was none in the rooms.

Overall ok (because it was only 2 nights) but for that price I wouldn"t book it again.

Beautiful house with a lot of potential. Spacious ground floor with 3 sitting areas plus dining tables and chairs. In terms of space 10 fine bedrooms. The adults in our party called the mattresses too soft.
But: overdue maintenance, for which the owner has apologized in a personal email. Garden had not been updated for a while, so that the "entrance to the parking lot has become very narrow. Path from the front door to the garden was almost overgrown. Inside from the ground floor to the garden is somewhat inconvenient. Lighting was not in order everywhere. Was easily solved by the administrator.
For groups that do not set the bar too high, it is a great house, but certainly not (yet) 5-star.

The house was certainly large enough for our group of 28 people. The bathrooms had been updated, the kitchen was large enough and it was nice to have a games room upstairs with a pool table.



On the other hand, the house is really very old. The walls, doors, windows, floors,... They have really seen their best days. It just seems a bit dirty. Moreover, the house is located on the corner of 2 busy roads, so there is some noise pollution.



The most difficult thing was the heating. It was either completely open (no other option), causing everyone in the house to explode, or completely off. And you couldn't do that yourself, but the owner had to do it. So choose between being way too warm or freezing.

Firstly, the homeowner was late for the key collection and came up with the excuse of having "forgotten". As a result, we could only enter the house late to find out that there was no toilet paper or garbage bags (while this was not indicated) and the supermarkets were already closed by that time.



Incidentally, the house is full of tape management solutions, so that some things literally fall apart out of misery. This again took time to resolve and was certainly at the expense of time spent on site. This was somewhat in line with the low price we paid per person for the property, but the bare minimum was not achieved in my opinion. Furthermore, a beautiful setting and the bath was super.

Very spacious and nice holiday. Holidays spent with 16 kids and 14 adults and everything was fine as desired. Everything we needed was certainly present, very large kitchen with everything on and on, spacious bedrooms with a modern bathroom !! Cozy and spacious dining area and comfortable seating areas. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage Marcourt. The welcome was warm and we were given sufficient explanation. It is a spacious home with room for many. The bedrooms each with their own bathroom are spacious and tidy. We stayed in Marcourt during a heat wave. Fortunately, the Ourthe is not far away. The children and adults have well in amused. The house remained pleasantly cool during this heat wave. one minus the garden is only accessible from the basement (staircase - for the children not recommended), or by the front door (safe but at a distance). Also, the house along a rather busy road. Yet we are still planning to return.

We have a very comfortable and pleasant WE lived with our family consisting onion 31 people waarven the oldest 84 years old and the youngest 14 days old.The is very nice that every room has a bathroom and you can go out through the basement ( because of dirty shoes) The area is very beautiful and for the more energetic there is the nearby adventure circuit with dead-ride. Only the additional costs are rather high (consumption of heat, electricity, garbage bags, outdoor lighting, ...) But surely a home that is advisable to rent with large groups.

Large living room / dining room which due to it"s U-shape lends for "break-out" activities.
Twin/double beds are great, some of the bunk beds were older. Some of the bathrooms renovated and nice, others not yet. Kitchen is adequate, dineware and glassware is a mix of various types but functional.
Although next to a road / croassing, no issue with noisy traffic as it is very quiet in the evenings

First the "positive": We were granted a departure in the afternoon in advance - at no extra charge. The manager is very friendly and helpful and was immediately there to help us out when we were looking for missing forks. The bathrooms are very nicely done.
And now to the rest of the house: The pictures on the internet are a huge deception! The house offers endless potential for disgust: there was dust and dust mice in the bedrooms. There were empty bottles under the beds and couch from one of our previous tenants. There is even mold in places (e.g. behind the large picture in the dining room). The lounge at the top not only smells musty, but the OSB wall covering is obviously rotting. It's a shame - with proper care and cleanliness it would really be a nice place to stay, but in its current condition we can only advise against it.

In general the ground floor is very well equipped and arranged, although the old furniture is left out. Something can still be done up there with the bedrooms and bathrooms. A better bed is desirable. But a thorough cleaning of the drains is really recommended and delaying that is a real shame. Price-performance is top.
Have fun, especially on walks in the area.

Things that have broken down and have been provisionally repaired or are hanging dangling Electrical outlets that are loose (dangerous for small children) Reccitation room is not really nicely finished! The state of the house was horrific! The seat in the reception area was completely torn, there were broken lamps everywhere, in every room something was broken or did not work. On the 2nd floor, the ceiling is so low that you have to bend over if you are 1m90. Many walls were moldy, some toilets do not work or leak, some showers only have cold water, the wallpaper is loose in several places. In the picture you see 3 microwave ovens but in practice there is only 1, there was no corkscrew. The house needs to be thoroughly renovated. It seems that it is only rented out to youth movements or to groups of morons but we were with the grandparents, children and grandchildren and were terribly shocked.

The bathrooms have been nicely renovated. However, the corridors and rooms are outdated and need to be refreshed. There were also 2 rooms where the toilets were not working. The kitchen equipment was in order and the living space was pleasant to stay. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking.

Fantastic, spacious, comfortable house. All bedrooms have their own bathroom and the living room is large enough for 32 people. You can cook for large groups in the professional kitchen. Unfortunately, the frying pans have to be replaced. In addition, the owner speaks only French.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage Marcourt. The welcome was warm and we were given sufficient explanation. It is a spacious home with room for many. The bedrooms each with their own bathroom are spacious and tidy. We stayed in Marcourt during a heat wave. Fortunately, the Ourthe is not far away. The children and adults have well in amused. The house remained pleasantly cool during this heat wave. one minus the garden is only accessible from the basement (staircase - for the children not recommended), or by the front door (safe but at a distance). Also, the house along a rather busy road. Yet we are still planning to return.

In general the house is quite nice and certainly well enough equipped to accommodate a group of at least 24 people (kitchen, rooms, beds). The furniture and all the bathrooms have been very recently renewed and are excellent. The only remark we had was That the ceiling of the second floor was shallow (too low for most people from our group actually) what made the rooms on the second floor less comfortable. Also access to the garden was not so convenient. However, all by it, thesis are minor remarks and we did spend a great midweek at this house.

ideal property for large groups with children. We were 29, including 15 children. The different rooms with bunk beds were super cool for the kids. The kitchen was cooking for well equipped for a large group. The garden was a bit haggard and not pleasant to sit. Plus was at a lower level than the rest and was not directly accessible from the kitchen or the living room, which we found a bit of a disadvantage. All bathrooms have been updated and be malformed pikfijn. One kilometer from the residence to La Roche can rent kayaks and do other adventure activities. There leave several hiking nearby.

First the "positive": We were granted a departure in the afternoon in advance - at no extra charge. The manager is very friendly and helpful and was immediately there to help us out when we were looking for missing forks. The bathrooms are very nicely done.
And now to the rest of the house: The pictures on the internet are a huge deception! The house offers endless potential for disgust: there was dust and dust mice in the bedrooms. There were empty bottles under the beds and couch from one of our previous tenants. There is even mold in places (e.g. behind the large picture in the dining room). The lounge at the top not only smells musty, but the OSB wall covering is obviously rotting. It's a shame - with proper care and cleanliness it would really be a nice place to stay, but in its current condition we can only advise against it.

The state of the house was horrific! The seat in the reception area was completely torn, there were broken lamps everywhere, in every room something was broken or did not work. On the 2nd floor, the ceiling is so low that you have to bend over if you are 1m90. Many walls were moldy, some toilets do not work or leak, some showers only have cold water, the wallpaper is loose in several places. In the picture you see 3 microwave ovens but in practice there is only 1, there was no corkscrew. The house needs to be thoroughly renovated. It seems that it is only rented out to youth movements or to groups of morons but we were with the grandparents, children and grandchildren and were terribly shocked.

In general the ground floor is very well equipped and arranged, although the old furniture is left out. Something can still be done up there with the bedrooms and bathrooms. A better bed is desirable. But a thorough cleaning of the drains is really recommended and delaying that is a real shame. Price-performance is top.

The house is located in a very nice area with many possibilities. Therefore, there is a very nice view from the living room. In general, the ground floor is very well equipped and furnished if the old furniture is removed. There is still room for improvement in the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The house was certainly large enough for our group of 28 people. The bathrooms had been updated, the kitchen was large enough and it was nice to have a games room upstairs with a pool table.



On the other hand, the house is really very old. The walls, doors, windows, floors,... They have really seen their best days. It just seems a bit dirty. Moreover, the house is located on the corner of 2 busy roads, so there is some noise pollution.



The most difficult thing was the heating. It was either completely open (no other option), causing everyone in the house to explode, or completely off. And you couldn't do that yourself, but the owner had to do it. So choose between being way too warm or freezing.

First of all the website of belvilla doesn"t work properly and it was a bit of a hassle to get to my booking area and they had technical issues: I received an email that there was a pending cost for me to cover and when I checked my bookings all was covered.confusing and not assuring.

When I initially contacted the person responsible I first couldn"t reach anyone and received no answer. Then on the arrival day itself I did reach him but the guy could only speak French, 0 English (or other language) and he wasn"t very friendly. To me not very professional if working in the tourism industry and asking questions and checking out were a bit challenging. He asked of us for all the trash to be taken out (though I believe this to be part of the cleaning process for which we were charged of course.)

The house itself was ok. It was clean from what we could tell, but some beds and mattresses were in bad shape and very uncomfortable to sleep in. The water had to run for a few minutes because it was orange (probably oxygen from the tubes from not being used recently) , the water pressure was horrible and not all the rooms had warm water (Glad we didn"t stay there longer, only 2 nights).
The kitchen was ok equipped. But there could"ve been more dishes, the coffee machine wasn"t usable due to too much calcification, on the website it mentioned 4 microwaves, there was 1. The pots didn"t have lids, the pans were so badly scratched, I "m glad we brought some of our own.
I knew we had to bring towels and kitchen towels but toilet paper wasn't mentioned so when we arrived there was none in the rooms.

Overall ok (because it was only 2 nights) but for that price I wouldn"t book it again.

Beautiful house with a lot of potential. Spacious ground floor with 3 sitting areas plus dining tables and chairs. In terms of space 10 fine bedrooms. The adults in our party called the mattresses too soft.
But: overdue maintenance, for which the owner has apologized in a personal email. Garden had not been updated for a while, so that the "entrance to the parking lot has become very narrow. Path from the front door to the garden was almost overgrown. Inside from the ground floor to the garden is somewhat inconvenient. Lighting was not in order everywhere. Was easily solved by the administrator.

The accommodation was in balance in terms of price-quality ratio. However, there were significant shortcomings. Firstly, the homeowner was late for the key collection and came up with the excuse of having "forgotten". As a result, we could only enter the house late to find out that there was no toilet paper or garbage bags (while this was not indicated) and the supermarkets were already closed by that time.



Incidentally, the house is full of tape management solutions, so that some things literally fall apart out of misery. This again took time to resolve and was certainly at the expense of time spent on site. This was somewhat in line with the low price we paid per person for the property, but the bare minimum was not achieved in my opinion. Furthermore, a beautiful setting and the bath was super.

Things that have broken down and have been provisionally repaired or are hanging dangling Electrical outlets that are loose (dangerous for small children) Reccitation room is not really nicely finished! It was freezing cold there, not a pleasant place for the kids.
