This cottage in the Ardennes has 3 bedrooms, making it ideal for a family holiday. From the (Swimming pool heated from April to the end of September. Swimming pool not accessible in winter) covered and heated swimming pool you can enjoy the beautiful view.
At the edge of the Ortho forest, there are many walking, cycling or horseback riding routes that make it possible to go from the simple village to Houffalize, Bastogne and Marche-en-Famenne. The town of La Roche-en-Ardenne is less than 10 km away and is a real must: the castle, the banks of the Ourthe, shops, restaurants... Enough to make everyone happy! In winter, ski lovers can use the facilities of nearby La Roche, Vecmont or Samrée.
This gîte is located in a renovated old farmhouse and has fully preserved its Ardennes soul and charm. It is located at the end of a quiet country road. The large terrace faces south and invites you to barbecue. The owners live in the adjoining part of the gite and know the region well.
Charging of electric vehicles is forbidden as these facilities are not available.

Beautiful swimming pool. Heated to 27 degrees. Environment also nice and quiet. House, however, hopelessly outdated. Kitchen is really nothing. Nice people. Dog is not allowed to run loose in the garden because the owners have a not very sweet rottweiler. A pity

The house is price / quality way too expensive. It is clean very outdated, holes in walls, the 3rd bedroom is with 2 bunk beds separated from a bedroom by a curtain. No closed cupboards to store food so that the mice are in the food. Doors that do not close, bathroom that cannot be locked. Little light. In short, not recommended.

Very friendly and secluded cottage in a small picturesque village. Obviously the swimming pool adds a certain comfort and very well maintained. Just a small flat for the lack of storage in the cottage.

Horrible. We arrived late afternoon and left the next morning. Unsafe for childeren because of the big dog who can be aggressive when he encounters someone he does not recognize. The beds are old… you can feel the mattress springs. We combined two one person mattresses on the two-person bed, bit it was too small.Sigarets in the bbq, no towels, no toiletpaper. A lock on the bathroom closet. A flytrap in the kitchen, that was not cleaned for how long?!The view on the property is beautiful but we could never recommend this location.

We have rented the residence for a period of one week over the Christmas holidays. The holiday home is too small to rent with 4 adults and 2 children. Even with a family, the living space (living room and kitchen) is very minimal and also dark (we had to spend the whole day with light) The bathroom is spacious and good but the bedrooms are outdated and the beds are anything but good (the adults are all returned with back pain) Despite additional questions to Belvilla, the pool was not available, which obviously put a damper on the fact that we had specifically chosen this house for the combination with indoor pool.

Nice, typical Ardennes house with a beautiful view of the surroundings. The bedrooms were large, the dining room was also nice, the sitting room a bit on the dark side. (small window). Outside there is a lot of space and a beautiful indoor pool so that we could swim on a less beautiful day. We had a great holiday.

Our arrival went very well, the owner was nice but did not show us around the house, we saw it in all 5 minutes when we arrived! and they were very discreet throughout the stay. The accommodation unfortunately does not really correspond to the photos (they were all taken at a wide angle, with the effect of giving a very large dimension to the rooms and they were also arranged in terms of lighting ... what a disappointment of the suddenly discovering what it really is all the rooms are small, extremely dark, you feel oppressed inside the house, in 1 word depressing interior ... luckily, the weather was fine, we had So be able to enjoy the exterior which is great! Very clear view and very very calm! Buying a new parasol would not be a luxury either!

A very quiet area, the cottage is shared with the owners who live right next to you. The nicest asset is the swimming pool, which can also be used on colder days, because a beautiful pergola has been built over it. The cottage itself has all the necessary kitchen appliances for 4 people. goes to the Ardennes, in a 45-minute drive you can safely fill 2 weeks for the children. The cottage is at the end of a dead end street, you will not hear a car driving here. At 8 km from La Roche e. Ardennes can do all the shopping you think is necessary.

Nice house, bit noisy the dimensions below were a bit disappointing. The third bedroom is only accessible via bedroom 2 and only has a curtain as a partition from that bedroom. So you actually sleep with 4 people in a room. The bathroom (with the only toilet) is upstairs with 6 adults, it is a bit of an appointment! And the dogs from the area and those of the owner often start barking at 6.00, real watch dogs. We had a great holiday anyway! Beautiful surroundings.

Fine fridge and everything clean in the huisje.Orho was easy to find, but we could not find the song so easily. The people are very nice, speak French, but with the translation app we came to an end.

Quiet and small town, but nice places to drive in the area. Had little contact with owner. On arrival were missing a cot and barbecue, but that is all quickly resolved by the owner. Real natural environment and lots of wildlife besides "night watch with driving in a quarter drive a group of boar and a fox on the road saw. Cottages is also okay for a weekend of good beds, clean, etc.

Nice location in a quiet village, near scenic hiking routes. La Roche, Marche and Durbuy are not far away. Very clean interior. We expected it bigger. Lots of noise in the seat (of a boiler?). Musty smell in the 2nd bedroom. Mattresses not very good quality.

a Burgundian house we stepped over the threshold and felt at home. the area was quite rural and the house was very quiet. the owner who lives next door with his family are friendly and do everything to make it to your liking. You can make beautiful walks in the area and fun trips.

Past enjoyed beautiful weather in the Ardennes. In the beautiful surroundings there were many walks and also several nearby attractions. There are plenty of sports activities in which the canoeing on the Ourthe was definitely a highlight.

Most of it was in order, but there was no stove, while it is shown in the photos and there is even a rate stated for buying firewood. The presence of a stove was one of my wishes when looking for a Zen accommodation. Absolutely incorrect that the information is not up to date.

The house decor is moderate, dark room, little special decor. The basics are good. Now that we have been here for 2 days, we have found our way. Nice swimming pool. Bed linen apparently not included anyway. The yard is shared and not fenced enough to let our dog run loose. This is what it said on the site.
