Due to a misunderstanding about the time of arrival, the key transfer was not entirely optimal, but the cordiality and friendliness of Didier and Florence more than made up for it and immediately forgotten it. Au coeur de Champlon is a very spacious and richly equipped gite that is fully equipped with all modern conveniences. The only thing we "missed" was a cheese slicer ;-) The interior of the house is comfortable with a cozy look and absolutely not furnished with the old stuff from the attic or grandmother. Partly due to the beautiful fenced garden an ideal accommodation for people with children (play equipment, separate game TV) and / or dogs (close to forests and fields). "In the morning a walk with the dog to the bakery located 1 km away was a nice start to the day. What a beautiful and big house! Also very clean and decorated with a lot of love, so it doesn't feel like a holiday home, you really feel at home. Our 3.5-year-old daughter enjoyed all the toys that are available and all the nice DVDs. The garden is also great for children. Deliciously large and also very complete; in addition to the beautiful swing and slide, there are also various options for outdoor toys in the shed. In short; highly recommended for families or families with children. The only small disadvantage is that the house is located on a main road where the occasional busier traffic drives, but we have not disturbed ourselves.

We were received by the hostess in a house that they had already nicely heated, so that it was wonderfully pleasant. There was local beer and apple juice in the fridge, the firewood was piled up in the fireplace with kindling, so we only had to light it. The beds were made, towels were ready, everything you can think of and more was present in the house. Also things like kitchen and toilet paper, soap, washing up liquid, coffee, tea, herbs, dish brush. In addition, everything was spotless. The enclosed garden is also ideal for people with small children and / or dogs. Plenty of room to play and they have nowhere to go. I can definitely recommend this house!

It surprised us, during the tour of the very friendly home owner, how much space there is. It is not a large open space, but that gave the house its charm. It has all kinds of rooms and each one is equipped with every comfort! The children couldn't be happier. The toys in the garden were also successful. We were only there for a weekend but already at the first step in the house we were in vacation mode! The sweet attention (local products) and the presence of all basic products made our stay all the more pleasant. Nothing more annoying than having to get dishwashing sponges on arrival! We will be back for sure!

A super nice Gîte in a great location. The Gîte is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you want during your holiday.
