This is a charming 2-bedroom holiday home for 4 people located in Tenneville, Belgium. It offers a stunning view of the hills and is only 100 m from the Ourthe river and 1 km from a lake.
The Natural Park of the Two Ourthes is closeby and has many well-marked hiking trails. Saint-Hubert, the European capital of hunting and nature, is 10 km away. The National Flight Centre of Gliding allows you to get on a glider and admire the beautiful green landscapes from the sky. La Roche is 15 km away and its castle offers a magnificent view over the valley. There's also a cross-country ski trail nearby. You can buy supplies 5 km away and find restaurants 15 km from here.
The house has a garden with furniture and a barbecue. You're allowed to bring up to 3 pets for € 2 per pet per night.

The fireplace was already burning on arrival. So was "a nice entry". We have rented this house several times, due to its location. You are in the center of the province of Luxembourg, where - in our view - the Ardennes are at their best in the fall. One downside: I called the manager because of a defective refrigerator. When we left a week later, this was still the case.

Environment is beautiful and peaceful. Arrival nobody was present but had direct telephone contact and this was okay. The chalet looked better on the outside than on the photo, on the inside a bit smaller. Everything you needed was present. I went there with a double feeling, but we enjoyed it.

Dear friends of Belvilla, Maybe you can judge for yourself. Living in a busy neighborhood. I thought I would find peace, with a beautiful view. The job noise is audible all day long. The view, see the photos. TV does not work. A sofa in wood pus a lounger are the garden furniture. Chalet is nice and fine. Mr.Dallemagne is very friendly and helpful to solve a problem! and attached photo "nice view" and quiet is certainly not applicable FOR Chalet Alasca claiiere, but it is for villa Alasca which is located lower and apparently serves as an example, but is not for rent.

Beautiful setting with the cows almost on the doorstep. You walk into the forest from the house. Accommodation could use a makeover. Excellent wifi to watch TV via laptop. The TV that is on it comes from prehistoric times and does not work. No problem for us. Bedding is fine, kitchen linen very scanty.

We arrived and the owner was there within a few minutes. He gave us a small tour and some instructions. Unfortunately not enough to make the television work, but afterwards we did not need it. The accommodation is fantastic, beautiful view and as dog owners you are in nature within minutes. The property is somewhat dated, but everything we needed was available and it was also very clean. Fridge may need to be replaced. There are 4 comfortable armchairs, but a small bench we had found personally finer.

Voor wat betreft hygiene en TV sluit ik me aan bij eerdere reviews. Stond water in koelkast/vriesvak en zag er niet schoon uit. Stofzuigen alleen op de zichtbare plekken. Dat je hier schoonmaak kosten voor moet betalen is belachelijk. TV'tje dat sneeuwde met beperkt aantal zenders. Eigenaar spreek geen Nederlands of Engels , alleen Frans. De melding dat de verwarming het begeven had werd genegeerd. Gelukkig redelijk warm weer en de laatste dag maar de openhaard aangezet. Overigens met hout uit de supermarkt want er is geen nieuw hout door eigenaar gebracht. De oververhitte verwarming op dag 1 , waarschijnlijk reden van kapot gaan, had zeer veel electriciteit verbruikt. Kosten kwamen op onze rekening. De eigenaar had de verwarming ingesteld bij aankomst. Dus oververhitting lag zeker niet bij ons. Handdoeken aanwezig staat er op site. Klopt 1 per persoon. Houdt hier rekening mee. Na 2,5 week gaan sms'en voor retour borg. Uiteindelijk met inhouding van 2,5 euro, zonder opgaaf van reden, overgemaakt. Omgeving is mooi. Omliggende steden/dorpen goed en snel bereikbaar.

The cottage was certainly not fresh. Cleaning clearly left something to be desired, doors were dirty, the Fridge we first cleaned because the remnants of the previous tenants were clearly present. We had to thoroughly clean the hood and the filters first because I did not want to put my pans under this greasy stuff. The cottage was fun and the view was beautiful.

Bed linen and bath linen was nicely done.Everything is present and tidy. Only a negative point about the TV. No sports channel available. The neighbor delivered wood to the front door. It was very quiet there. We really enjoyed it.

Manager arrived nicely on time. Cottage was expected with great view. Forest behind cottage contains a lot of wildlife and it was also enjoyable. Due to circumstances 1 person extra at last minute and this was fortunately no problem. Lack of heating was on (in summer?) And stayed for another 2 full days. 1 towel and set of bed linen per person is insufficient for stays of 2 weeks. In Tenneville there is a supermarket but this is more for basic necessities. Marche and Famenne has a lot more choice but is 20 minutes drive. Measure left strange countdown after 1 week, which seemed to be in no way in its starting position. Called over and this turned out to be no strange devil. You pay afterwards per used power and so on. Had not lost a hundred euros after two weeks.

The photo 's on the website are very dated, the interior looks much better! We were there with 2 dogs and 1 child 2.5 years and that went well. But bring the cot. The last bit is what style for the car, but our decent family car was fine and otherwise there beneath a garage where you can lose your car. Outside the picnic table, there are garden chairs and I was pleasantly surprised with the Internet! It was for the dogs love to just to be outside and our son has a lot of fun!

Holiday 2020, Chalet Alaska Tenneville Belgium, from 28-08 to 04-09-2020 Arrival by appointment, exactly 17:00 Reception: none. No one present. The stay in the chalet was very disappointing. The house did not smell very fresh when we entered and it was still quite dirty. It had been swept and mopped.
The refrigerator was not clean, there were still fingers on the kitchen cabinets, the order containers were not clean, there was dust everywhere. The frying pans cannot be used on the halogen hob because they were all convex or hollow. the toaster had hairs in it and was dingy. We have not used these. The oven was very dirty and we turned on the self-cleaning program before we baked sandwiches in it. The mattresses of the beds need to be replaced and the double bed creaked terribly. The two-seater sofa and 1 of the two armchairs have sagged and are not comfortable. The dining table is very low, even my wife (1.68 m) sat with her legs against the bottom of the table. The shower rod in the shower is also very loose.
The entire chalet actually deserves an upgrade because almost the entire interior is dated and needs to be replaced.
Worst of all, we actually find the bad beds so that we didn't really go home rested.
In itself we had a wonderful holiday in the beautiful surroundings, but we will not book this chalet again.

We thought it was a cozy cottage. We were there with 2 people and 3 dogs. The beds were nice. The cottage was good to keep warm, we had frost.
There were a few things to keep in mind as a tenant. There was no washing up liquid and no toilet paper. If you want to take a bath, you must bear in mind that there will be no more hot water for at least 7 hours, because the boiler has too little capacity.!
Furthermore, contact persons were very friendly and fortunately spoke Flemish.
Something that I regretted was that the traffic on the highway was clearly heard, also in the forest, but certainly at the house (not inside).
Location cottages with beautiful views and forest directly behind it. Enough space around it but unfortunately not fenced and that was a thing with our hunting dogs, as wild boars had churned up the earth right next to the house haha.

Been in the same house a few years ago. Nothing has changed since then. Everything you need is there, but the condition is not great. The bathroom was especially dirty. For the rest it was fine. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful. The environment is fantastic!

House looks nice and is in a nice place. I had ants all over the house and a heater that kept running. In addition, it was not really clean. After complaints, proofs and departure on the 3rd day, Belvila did not meet me in any way. Bad thing how this was handled

This chalet is fantastically located in a quiet area surrounded by nature with a fantastic view! Everything is there for a comfortable stay and the chalet was also clean. Lovely cozy house with a cozy fireplace. Supermarket 5 minutes drive. Good base for excursions and beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity. Only downside is the creaky bed.

The cottage is located on a hill, with the forest directly behind it where you can walk with the dog. The view is indeed very nice and even though the busy road is nearby, you are not really bothered by noise. There are still a number of holiday chalets nearby, which means that you are actually in a mini holiday park. We had not understood that from the description, but because we had our holiday in a very quiet period, there were hardly any other guests around. The cottage itself is quite simple which is also reflected in the price. If you take slow wifi, creaky beds (we screwed them in ourselves) and floors for granted, "Alaska" is a good place to be. The service is top notch: when the refrigerator broke down, it was immediately replaced by the manager. You have to learn how to operate the heating in order to obtain a pleasant temperature in the living room: the charging radiator absorbs the heat at night and releases it as desired during the day. The huge panorama windows allow you to fully enjoy the surroundings and the cloud spectacle, but then nice in the shelter of your living room.In the "backyard" there are wild boars and deer, so dogs must always walk around on a leash. This applies everywhere in the neighborhood. For the longer walks, a short drive by car is required, because you are sitting fairly remote, which is very nice if you are looking for peace and quiet.

we did not expect luxury, we knew it was a basic house but the house was very dirty, rooms very damp, bathroom mold. The whole furniture may sometimes be replaced, shame that you have to pay more than 50 euros for cleaning and it has not been cleaned at all. Only thing that was clean were the sheets and towels (because they go to a laundry). We will definitely never go there again

It was all in tip-top shape, beautiful view that was great, we and the dogs enjoyed it immensely and the dogs could roam around so freely it was fantastic. it was a super cozy house with a beautiful view, perfect for 2 couples. everything was there except convenience to bbq "n. we will definitely come back. the welcome was also very warm and friendly.

Nice house, basic but price / quality I think. In the Ardennes I am satisfied if I have a nice view and can sit by the fireplace and this was perfect. Very friendly contact person who was always immediately available for questions. The only downside was that it was not super clean. (unwashed crockery in the cupboard, a few hairs in the bath ...) but this has certainly not taken away our pleasure. We loved to stay here and would dare to go back.

Super stay, very friendly welcome and everything we needed was available (even olive oil and salt, tea, etc.). The chalet itself is fairly basic but nicely located, you are quickly surrounded by nature and can make nice walks in the area (and in our case sledding in the snow!)

Nice and quiet area. Very kindly received by the owner who spoke only French but very well did best to make himself understandable. On the outside, the challet looks very sober but the inside is a big surprise. :) Spacious, tidy, cozy, all comfort provided. Good mattress on the beds. 2 dogs were well looked after, garden surrounded by garden, garden furniture, picnic bench and sun loungers. Garage available but also possible to put the car on the challet. Overall very satisfied.

The cottage was certainly not fresh. Cleaning clearly left something to be desired, doors were dirty, the Fridge we first cleaned because the remnants of the previous tenants were clearly present. We had to thoroughly clean the hood and the filters first because I did not want to put my pans under this greasy stuff. The cottage was fun and the view was beautiful.
