The house itself was great, more than enough space for a group of 12 people. The park where the house was situated was fine, quiet, and the surroundings were beautiful. Great beds, nothing wrong with that. However, there were quite a few points of attention which we categorize as deferred maintenance or needing quick extra attention; we will mention these below: *When booking the holiday home, a play equipment including a swing and slide was visible in the photo for the children. This is NOT present. *There is a worn-out goal in the garden with a net full of holes (useless) and a climbing tower that stands loose on the grass field. Totally irresponsible and for safety reasons, we have placed this flat on the grass field (3 children aged 3 to 9 years would have used this with all the associated risks). - All hinges and locks must be checked and repaired, doors do not close, front door can only be locked with a key and otherwise swings open. Door handles are loose and can be pulled out of the locks. *Senseo machine is new but missing a part *Oven door in the kitchen does not close, making the oven usable only if we put something against the door to keep it closed, otherwise the oven shuts off and does not heat up. *Open fireplace is practically unusable due to damage from improper burning (doors do not close and heat plates have sagged). *If curtain rails are installed, then also hang curtains on them (several are missing). Also in the bedroom, a half curtain for the window. Roller blind brackets are there, but there is no roller blind. *Partitions on the outside must be closed to create a dark bedroom, but these cannot be closed either. Yes, with a lot of pushing on the outside and someone on the inside who puts the hook on it.

After the reviews we read, we thought we would be staying in a rather old and musty house. But nothing could be further from the truth! A lovely wooden, spacious cabin near a nice village and Durbuy. Our children had a great time in and around the house and the play equipment. The house is detached and offers a lot of privacy. The kitchen is large, modern, and equipped with all conveniences. In addition, there was enough space for our large group of 12 people at the big tables and benches. A few small downsides were the toilets (flush a bit less well) and because the house is made of wood, it is a bit noisy. But further, really a super nice house to stay in with a large group, highly recommended!

It was a wonderful experience. Slightly less so is the fact that there is constantly a pump humming in the laundry room, adjacent to a bedroom. Also, there is little privacy. Only the toilet on the ground floor can be locked, and some bedroom doors did not close properly. They opened by themselves.

Unfortunately, I look back with a bad feeling afterwards. Let me start with the positive. It is a nice spacious house with good beds, a spacious kitchen where everything works, spacious showers and the jacuzzi was clean and was on arrival (on request). The location is beautiful, the house is detached, however, there are possible neighbors that can be present in the same weekend and they are a few meters away. The reason that I still with a feeling left behind by the final bill. It is important to know that as a group of 12 people we have been renting 25 year old houses (usually in the Ardennes) and have never had the experience below: we are just a few friends with few requirements.When we have booked the house we were aware of the (high) final cleaning of 175, - so I'm not going to complain about that, but what is a problem is that in Belgium all the dirt has to be separated, -no problem- but there was only 1 duo bin present for 12 people, no box for glass, paper, plastic, etc. We received 1 bag at the reception (15km away!) to collect all juices, tin and plastic, which of course never lasts for 12 people for a long weekend , eventually you have to bring this bag 15km back to the reception, this was difficult cumbersome and dirty, because the cars were full of people and bagage.Verder are our costs of € 30, - charged to the dishwasher. clear, yes you read that well. We had to leave the house at 10.00 and a washing program lasts 3 hours, so you have to turn the dishwasher on 2x 10.00 when you're 12 people breakfast! There is also € 20, - calculated to clean the Senseo, oven and refrigerator. The funny thing is that the Senseo is not used by us, the fridge and the oven cleaner is left behind by us, than we found him on arrival. In short, it is a mystery where you have to pay € 175, -. It is also important to know that Belvilla has tried to negotiate with the relocation

All this was already known at the reception, appeared on departure. 6) In the freezer in the kitchen were still leftovers from the previous tenant like ice cream etc.As you can understand all the accommodations we had chosen from the house were not or almost not usable. In addition, there were life-threatening situations in the house which greatly affected our weekend d has a negative way. Also we have to pay another 175 euros for a cleaning. We ourselves came in a house that was certainly not clean, far from it.

After 2200 nobody can sit outside and during the day almost no noise can be heard outside. Having a jacuzzi and table tennis table makes it very difficult.
