The owner in question was not very friendly. We arrived and she immediately started yelling at me. We had discussed via email that we would arrive around 9 PM and she had no problem with that. While the property itself was nice and well-maintained, I would not recommend it for groups of young people looking to have a lively vacation. Perhaps the biggest issue we encountered, however, was with the neighbors. They began complaining about noise in the garden as early as 6pm, even when we were just sitting and talking. Overall, while the property may be suitable for a more low-key vacation, I would caution against booking this vacation home if you are looking for a more lively and social atmosphere.

Hostess who received us sat with her poor Dutch just walked in and immediately started to complain about too many lights that were on. And heating that was too high. We had only just arrived so we were heating things up. We also had to be careful with the curtains. As if we depended on it. The children were frightened by a lot of bugs (brown ladybugs) in the corners of the bedrooms and also in the pleated curtains. The lady of the house said this was normal because this was a well insulated house. But she didn't want to start cleaning curtains. That would fall under animal cruelty. You don't necessarily have to kill, could also be done in another way, but she didn't want to respond. On departure she came by for a final check with a butt in her hand. Apart from this, we had a nice time. Nice and quiet and cozy.

On the upper floor, some mattresses, covers and pillows are in urgent need of renewal (stains) and the heating upstairs only worked in one of the five rooms. But for this price one can perhaps not expect more. What we did not like at all was the behavior of the hostess. She treated us like a group of 20-year-old students who were going to tear down the whole house. Every year we rent a larger group house, but we have never been confronted with such a rude and suspicious lady. speak in a normal tone.
