The "Famenne", between the valleys of the rivers Ourthe and Lesse is a wonderful area for nature lovers, hikers and sports enthusiasts. The natural heritage, flora and fauna offer the opportunity to enjoy beautiful forest walks, bike or horseback rides.
The House has central heating to keep you warm in winters and air conditioning too. You could also enjoy good barbecued food on the sunny terrace in winters, while kids will enjoy playing with the pets in the garden.

In the first half of the week it was still cold but dry-excellent for hiking in the beautiful surroundings and in the second half we had lovely spring weather and we could stay all day in the garden. The owner of the house is a likable woman with whom the communication beforehand already expired pleasant. The house is suitable for several families. It has 4 spacious rooms, a spacious attic (5 sleeping places) and 4 bathrooms, 2 of which are linked to a bedroom. The house is neat, functional, well maintained, but also from the late 18th century. The later built conservatory makes the house light at the back. Pity hunters throw a spanner in the works at scheduled times hikes, though it is a very nice walking area. We also visited the Christmas market in Durbuy, highly recommended. For the children there is sufficient play mogelijkheden.De beds for the kids on the 2nd floor were redesigned and fine. The beds of the adults are hopefully the next time around for a new mattress, these are not comfortable meer.Ook 4 bathrooms were a godsend and everything was again spotless. We could not find the house we had the key to, but after 1 call the owner came within 2 minutes with the key. Top. We got a brief explanation of everything and how everything worked. Already many rentals booked in Ardennes, this belongs to the top. The welcome gift was pleasant. There was plenty of utensils, a wide range of different glasses (something unique in the apartment), very cleanly maintained home. By poorer weather, not so much loved garden. Highly recommended. So we are left in a hurry, some already that night, the other ladies in the morning. The owner was quite correct when closing the account, and lived with us, it must not have been easy for him. Our family weekend in this house is very liked. Very friendly welcome, well-kept house, very clean, nicely decorated. The house is fully equipped with absolutely everything you can need is present, plenty of utensils for example, to a barbecue to it. A playpen ready for us to put the baby, the bedrooms are nice and well decorated, good bathrooms and showers, all super! The garden is lovely and fully equipped with children's play equipment, large tables, plenty of chairs and loungers even in the shed.

We are a group of 10 adults have been a long weekend in this cottage. Really everything was present. Games, extension cords, 2 refrigerators and welcome as local beers. That was a good start of course. Particularly friendly welcome and so clean. Had very nice stay. Deposit equal received back to leave. Again it was a great stay.

We were there with 11 friends at the house before, from Friday to Monday. Comfortable, fully equipped house. Many cooking utensils, plates, new plumbing, hot tub (!) Mooir backyard. The environment was fantastic. However, occasionally very noisy, what with several friends (to bed early / late in bed) sometimes problematic. The stairs and the floor of the first floor is made of wood and is using very slippery so it is not advisable to socks to walk through the house. Danger of slipping looms. But with shoes or barefoot is good to do. We have our very sense had in the house. A must!

We have family in November a weekend used the cottage La Cîtaudine. It's been a nice weekend, which was partly due to this wonderful holiday. The house is spacious, well maintained and equipped with all amenities, a large and cozy living and dining room with a lovely fireplace, a spacious kitchen, lots of bedrooms with good beds, plenty of bathrooms, a spacious enclosed garden. Although the weather forecast was dreadful, the weather was bad. In the first half of the week it was still cold but dry-excellent for hiking in the beautiful surroundings and in the second half we had lovely spring weather and we could stay all day in the garden. But it is not a punishment to stay in the house. For the children, because there is a lot of toys inside and there is enough space for the children to play. All equipment in the home, such as a washing machine, two refrigerators, TV, DVD, etc. and a real hot tub give a feeling of luxury. What a wonderful weekend we had at this lovely lovely stay. The environment gives an instant feeling of calm. The beds were fine, the bathrooms ditto. Glad there are 4 bathrooms. We did not have to wait on each other. The kitchen is fully equipped, over! And that creaky floors, well that was just an afterthought! It also gave a nostalgic feeling. In short, this house is highly recommended for families with children as with adults only.

Had a wonderful long weekend in very fine house. The device and means left nothing to be desired. You walk into the woods, is relatively close to the supermarket and charming villages such Ciney, Rochefort, Dinant and Han-sur-lesse all within a half hour drive. A fantastic place to stay, very well decorated and a very friendly welcome. We enjoyed our entire family, including the children and grandchildren thought it was a successful weekend. Pity hunters throw a spanner in the works at scheduled times hikes, though it is a very nice walking area. We also visited the Christmas market in Durbuy, highly recommended. July 30 to August 6 2010Wij have a wonderful week. We were 5 adults, 3 small children and 2 dogs. The house is spacious and fully equipped. The garden is also very spacious and fenced, this was ideal with a curious toddler. The cows were to the delight of the kids in the meadow adjacent to the garden. The swing is daily served. There is plenty to do for everyone in the region and the forest on loopafstand.Onze "cook" has also enjoyed the kitchen equipment: a good oven, 4 burners, dishwasher and ample workspace. We could not find the house we had the key to, but after 1 call the owner came within 2 minutes with the key. Top. We got a brief explanation of everything and how everything worked. The house was beautiful, clean and big. Beautiful large garden and beautiful views.All some mattresses are for replacement, they are soaked.Nothing else to notice everything is well-stocked.

We had a great stay in the autumn, 6 adults and 4 kinderen.Het house is in an excellent condition and very clean. It really has everything in the kitchen benje fully equipped. For the children there is sufficient play mogelijkheden.De beds for the kids on the 2nd floor were redesigned and fine. The beds of the adults are hopefully the next time around for a new mattress, these are not comfortable meer.Ook 4 bathrooms were a godsend and everything was again spotless. Summarized a house to make sure one more time to go, a more than excellent price quality ratio.

Last weekend (4-9 t / m 09/06/09) we stayed with family and our 2 dogs in this really super clean, very spacious, very cozy house! Wonderful landscape. Manjefieke villa with a large garden. (Only the creaky floors upstairs was less) with four families and baby had a fantastic week here. The lessor very helpful and spoke Dutch. Beautiful trips in the neighborhood. Durbuy is a must.

The house is suitable for several families. It has 4 spacious rooms, a spacious attic (5 sleeping places) and 4 bathrooms, 2 of which are linked to a bedroom. The house is neat, functional, well maintained, but also from the late 18th century. The later built conservatory makes the house light at the back. The welcome was very warm and accurate, thanks also to the nice bottled beer. The combination of very good weather and a very enjoyable holiday made our holiday more than successful.
