It is a wonderful house: beautifully situated in the hills, has a spacious (fenced!) garden and a sunny south-facing terrace. Our dog loved it. There is much to do in the area. The kitchen has all the necessities and there are even three types of coffee set. The cottage could use a good scrub and makeover, it was cleaned with the French blow and it is a challenge to share 1 toilet and bathroom with 6 adults and the upper floor is not suitable for tall people ....... but that does not outweigh the location of the house and the lovely terrace / garden. We will definitely come back again!

We think the house is in urgent need of a makeover.

We had a wonderful holiday, what a large enclosed space for our dog! We like to go to the Ardennes and found this a very nice part. Unfortunately, due to the heat, we were not able to do all the walks we had in mind so we will most likely go back. We found the house very nice, were with 2 adults and 1 dog. There may be some overdue maintenance, but nothing that made our holiday less beautiful! When receiving and returning the key, we were very kindly helped by Nicolle. The cottage is located in a beautiful place in a wide area. House very outdated and something is still missing. Such as: No mosquito netting for the doors and windows, so that it is full of flies and wasps in no time. The full old fly strip was still there. because in the shower an unclear note that it should not be moved. The beds are made of old wooden casing (creaks and squeaks and moves and looks like collapse) and the mattresses are very bad. As for the aging: fridge kitchen got so hot on the inside top that we had to throw away all our bbq meat. Fortunately there was still a fridge in the old annex. In one bedroom a metal plate has been screwed to the floor and when you stepped on it you could feel that the floor underneath was broken. The front door clamps across the floor. Where there is a fly curtain, it is so consumed that the pieces fall off. The shower tray is covered with white adhesive tape which is loose. The sealant seams show mold. The interior doors in the house are very thin and clamp enormously. In the kitchen above the stove are plastic tiles that have melted away. Low old countertop. Everything else was really dirty. There is spinnerag everywhere; walls and ceiling. It was not clean and the only thing you could mop with was a dirty mop stick. A pity to read that these matters have been reported before and that nothing has been done with it, which is why I write this review in such detail. Furthermore, the owner is very nice, the garden is fantastic and the cottage could be a fantastic holiday home with the necessary investments.

Contacted the owner one day before arrival. We were allowed in the house before arrival. Very friendly owner. A very large enclosed garden. Ideal for the dogs. The house is outdated and not very clean. We had a wonderful holiday, what a large enclosed space for our dog! We like to go to the Ardennes and found this a very nice part. Unfortunately, due to the heat, we were not able to do all the walks we had in mind so we will most likely go back. We found the house very nice, were with 2 adults and 1 dog. There may be some overdue maintenance, but nothing that made our holiday less beautiful! When receiving and returning the key, we were very kindly helped by Nicolle. We absolutely recommend this house!

We had a super great week! Lovely cottage with a fabulous garden! Well pretty much flies that come from cows that off right next to the garden in the meadow staan.We are more than welcomed by the owner and the cottage was beautifully clean, Definitely recommended. (Also for people with dogs)

Le Taimont, is a must for people with dogs, large garden that is well put off, not much room in the house for large dogs but for a few days or for doen.Alles was well organized, renting the kitchen / bath and bed linen is also neatly down gelegd.Lekker near the highway, you can see all sides yet op.prima stay.

The house is about 5 minutes drive from the motorway and is located practically all furnishings and comforts. You do little to carry. On almost everything has been thought of. Walk you around the corner. You can spend hours walking the dog. It is especially quiet. The cottage has a cozy fireplace. We have been 2 days and have plenty wood burning. Very cozy. I found the final energy on the pricey side. With lots and lots of wood burning outside we were still a bill of € 45.20 for oil, water and € 4.50 for € 14.40 for electricity. Should not think so when I get home 's high energy bills would krijgen.Maar for the rest, this cottage for people who love tranquility, trekking and nature lovers a must.

My friend, our two dogs and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend at Le Taimont. It is a cozy, complete house with a lovely garden. Too bad that in the garden much damage was caused by storm a few weeks ago. The area is beautiful and there is plenty to do and see. We enjoyed it and will definitely terug.Caroline, Ronald, Blizz and Misia
