It was a large and cozy house with a lot of space. There were many spacious bedrooms and a very large garden. The kids and we adults spent a rewarding extended weekend there. It is definitely worth repeating. We were happy that the price was not expensive for such a beautiful and large house. Thank you, landlord.

The house is very suitable for staying with a family. We stayed there as parents with children and grandchildren, a total of 14 people. Sufficient rooms, toilets, and spaces are large enough. Although one does need replacing. What we found less pleasant was the cleanliness. Upon arrival, the pans, plates, and glasses in the cupboard were not clean. Despite the description stating 'luxury', we did not feel luxurious. Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly. However, during the first tour of the house, we encountered several horrors. Personal belongings of previous visitors, used tissues in nightstands, microwave and oven not cleaned, kitchen utensils worn and/or still smeared with food residues. Pans with peeling protective coating. Mold in the cabinet with games. Several glasses were already broken, others full of dust. Blood stains found on some cushions. The mattresses also did not feel luxurious, which is a personal preference, but they were simply too hard. All in all, a nice location, could use a little sprucing up. The contrast between the photos and description is currently too great. To compensate for our complaints about order and cleanliness, the owner agreed to waive utility charges.

We had a very nice stay with our children, their partners, our grandchild and our dog. The host did his best to speak English and was very friendly. We spent our family weekend there and made use of the games that are available outside. The beds were great and the bedrooms were also large. For people who are not good at walking, this house is not recommended because there are some height differences in the house. The only disadvantage was that the kitchen inventory was quite dirty, so we had to wash it before use. There is certainly still a lot to gain

The building itself has many steps which can sometimes be dangerous for small children. But it is above all very dated and not well maintained at all: creaking steps, squeaking doors and beds, curtains that fall off, a kitchen tap that is loose ...
In addition, the house gives a dirty, anything but clean impression. Really dirty sometimes: just look under the lounge chairs and you will know enough. Or the main terrace where everything happens in the summer: dirt, weeds everywhere and a wooden table that falls apart. And then those flies: on the ground floor there are constantly hundreds of them: terrible!
A quiet area, if it were not for the fact that a few dogs in the neighbourhood are constantly barking, sometimes even at night.
The owner is friendly and helpful, but clearly has no eye for all the problems present.

There is lots of space in the house, the living room is comfortable and cozy. The beds are good and the whole house looks well cared for, both inside and out. The pond in the bottom of the lawn drew the children immensely. They have hours to build a dam. We will probably still come back.

We had a wonderful week with 8 family members in the Ardennes. The house is not spick and span and the furniture is also quite old, but that didn't spoil the fun.
