the cottage is in need of a lot of maintenance but is a good location. the bedrooms upstairs are not convenient, you enter the first bedroom via the stairs and then walk through the second to the third, so everything is accessed via one staircase. the ceilings are quite low, so it was extremely hot last week, unbearable. the first and third bedrooms have a bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. the downstairs bedroom has a sink and toilet, the shower is outside in the shed, so you have to go out the back door to get there, showering is not possible because if you want to add warm water, it’s just boiling water that cannot be adjusted, there is a fault in the tap. the house next door is also rented out or was rented out, there were people with a baby and small children, it’s quite noisy so keep that in mind.

The contact and communication with the owner can be described as poor; she was supposed to come by the first evening but showed up a few days later. We had a number of questions that we couldn't ask at that time, but she did come over to collect 20 euros for the linen package from the neighbors. We mentioned that our TV wasn't working, but nothing was done about it; we went 6 days without a TV, which we had paid for, and the provider wasn't working, but she didn't address that either. Beautiful house in a very quiet village. There are several beautiful signposted walks from the house. There is a nice view. The garden is fine.



In the rooms there was a very low ceiling, and you have to go through one room to get to the other. The bathrooms were in very good order.



However, the kitchen is not that well equipped. That's how I wanted to make soup. (It was a bit chilly and bad weather) However, there was no mixer available. Then finely chop the vegetables. The moment I wanted to serve the soup I notice that there was no ladle present.



The cutlery is very tight. 8 plates, 8 knives, 8 forks, ... the plates were so big that they didn't fit in the dishwasher.

Idyllic house in a beautiful location in nature, comfort is certainly okay .. a pity that all rooms on the top floor are walk-through rooms. The 2 showers upstairs are okay , apparently there would have been a third shower on the ground floor but removed for unknown reasons . ( Unfortunately ) . Friendly lady of the house came in the early evening to bring 2 bottles of wine 👍. Beautiful hiking trails nearby. The house has been described as dog friendly and fully fenced , this is only true for large dogs who do not tend to walk under the barbed wire . However, we had 1 large and 2 small dogs (2 small ones walked under the fence with the horses, sometimes resulting in dangerous situations) easy to solve with small chicken wire around the garden and lockable fences and all worries are gone during your stay. We would come back if this was adjusted .

We went on a weekend with my in-laws so I went looking for a house for 8 people and 2 dogs. Not easy, but luckily I found it. If you look at the photos it looks really fantastic. Spacious, clean, ... Charming house with a large kitchen with 3 bathrooms, which is nice with 2 families. The veranda is certainly the nicest place in the house! There are quite a few hiking trails to explore in the area. A tip to the owners, perhaps a map or book with the walking routes in the area would be nice for visitors. We have found the walking routes via an app. Maybe also mention that the 3 rooms upstairs are all connected to each other without a hall. There was also some odor nuisance from the bathroom (sewer?) Nice that a pet is allowed. The garden with the street is very well fenced off for the animals, so you don't have to worry too much if they walk unattended in the garden. For our large family with 8 adults and a child (2 1/2 years) and three dogs was enough space available. The three bedrooms on the 1st floor were in a row and could not be entered separately, but for a family that should not be a problem. There were only two showers in the whole house, but this did not lead to a bottleneck at any time. The kitchen is very large and we were able to prepare meals with several people. We especially liked the early glazier, who gave us a lot of light and spatial generosity. Unfortunately, the land in front of the house was not fenced, so we could run the dogs only under supervision and leashed - would be nice if this would be retrofitted. In late March we stayed a long weekend in Cottage Tony (family 8 people). A very nice and cozy house, with all amenities. You have from the conservatory a wonderful view of the surrounding nature. We had the dogs and there are from the house to table.The several hiking trails located in a quiet street, Stavelot is about 10 minutes drive away. Actually all the attractions in the area by car well car.The house is very cozy, clean and picturesque. Matching the region. The house has been described as dog friendly and fully fenced , this is only true for large dogs who do not tend to walk under the barbed wire . However, we had 1 large and 2 small dogs (2 small ones walked under the fence with the horses, sometimes resulting in dangerous situations) easy to solve with small chicken wire around the garden and lockable fences and all worries are gone during your stay. We would come back if this was adjusted .

The three bedrooms on the 1st floor were in a row and could not be entered separately, but for a family that should not be a problem. However, the kitchen is not that well equipped. That's how I wanted to make soup. (It was a bit chilly and bad weather) However, there was no mixer available. Then finely chop the vegetables. The moment I wanted to serve the soup I notice that there was no ladle present.
