We have 8 been friends a long weekend at La Conciergerie. What a beautiful home! Lots of space, neat and tidy and well equipped. The owners were also very nice, and helpful when we had a short hot water outage. The environment is great. Especially very nice for hikers and cyclists. In the area we went to Bastogne by car, a brewery and we walked cozy. Highly recommended.

The 1st time in the fall, this time in the heart of summer.The house is very nicely located, quiet on the outskirts of the village and has enormous charm (a kind of caretaker residence belonging to a beautiful castle with beautiful garden) The decor is outstanding 9 people. It was lovely to sit in the garden, in the shade of the beautiful old trees.The inn is an excellent starting place for beautiful wandelingen.De host is always available for assistance and useful information.

It is a house with a soul. Beautiful floors, tasteful colors, spacious rooms, lots of light. The hall is large enough to accommodate all walking shoes, sandals, slippers, and backpacks. The upstairs rooms are not noisy, the beds are ok. If you just want to cook, the kitchen is fine proper oven and stove, ample supplies. If you want gourmet cook, you need some mixer or blender eg., High casserole, which is not there. Attentive owners after a rather chilly and damp day we received unsolicited wood to the fire. Large garden to do to play the cubbspel or hide and seek. Only flaw, there is no direct connection to the garden for outdoor dining is not as convenient. The very long slide in the playground of Houffalize was the highlight of the week for the grandchildren. The war museum in Bastogne is definitely recommended, also to do with children. The Ourthe is nearby, build dams no problem. Lovely walking and cycling trails from the house. A Shirked

Very hospitable reception friendly people. The house has a typical Ardennes style. The living space is spacious, but the kitchen is a bit on the small side. Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms and 2 small, 2 modern bathrooms. The house is immaculate. You can sit outside and enjoy the silence. The house is ideal as a starting point for various walks and excursions.

Very nice and spacious annex of the adjacent castle in a small and quiet village. "At night it is quiet. Daytime driving a single tractor over. We were warmly welcomed by the owners. They gave us first extensive tour of the house that has spacious bedrooms and a cozy living / dining room. Nearby is plenty to do and all at an acceptable distance. We have a wonderful week behind.

With a group of friends enjoyed the house and the Ardennes. We come here once a year or whatever and compared to all previous houses this is definitely a winner. We have had two weeks of summer holidays in the Conciergerie. It's a great house, very spacious with modern bathrooms. The facilities are fine (washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, oven and microwave). The beds are good. The host and hostess are very friendly (Dutch speaking) and helpful. For young children there is within walking distance of the Ourthe, where you can bathe fine (and safe).

Had a lovely time in Roumont. Nice spacious house with beautiful appearance and pleasant atmosphere. Terrible and everything in the house in order. We were and a little child (2 years) in the beautiful house that belongs to a group of eight adults (colleagues with their partners) to a chateau. From here you can walk directly into the beautiful surroundings or take a little and then take on the Ourthe fantastic hiking or canoeing. Our group has cooked together (kitchen is a little tight for so many people, but you can to whittle dodge in the living room), eat at the big table and then enjoyed the fireplace. The rooms are just like the beds wonderfully comfortable for one pair. The bathrooms are newly made with good facilities and there is even an additional toilet downstairs, which is nice, especially for a larger group. Everything is lovingly and tastefully decorated. Nothing is missing! We enjoyed the hosts were always approachable and helpful and yet absolutely restrained, so that we would have 20 clock in the evening until Sunday to stay, which is also not self-evident.

For the 25th year we have a number of cycling friends, a week in the Ardennes to practice our favorite sport. we were all agreed. This year we had the best and most beautiful place. What a rest !! What was a nice cycling Claude de Criquelion !! What a beautiful house with ditto garden. And a host who spoke French and Dutch and was ready for us when we had questions. Every day sun and a cycle again made our bike week anniversary complete. On to the next 25 years.

With a bike of friends we have for the second time in a row this year went to Roumont again. It was the 26th time that we had our bike week together. Why Roumont ??? Simply wonderful cycling, nice hills, beautiful forests and very quiet, so not much other traffic. The holiday in Roumont is also fantastic. Ample, in a small quiet village (with a hard-working church bell) and a beautiful estate. The welcome by Mr and Mrs Ghellinck is extremely friendly and warm. Mr. Ghellinck speaks passable Dutch, which again occasionally is easy. Overall nice spacious house, beautiful grounds and very friendly welcome !!

We were received very kindly by the owners. We were given an extensive tour of the house. Everything looked very clean and nice. The house was more than enough crockery and cutlery and the bedrooms are very spacious. The house is in a very quiet area, you can hear the birds chirping, hardly any traffic coming over. Really to unwind. Beside the house is a large garden, the children can play there very much. And we had great weather, so much enjoyed the view into the garden. We like to come here back again.

Charming house, charming ambience (chateau, park, village square), healthy environment, great peace, friendly hosts! We enjoyed as a grandparents with son, daughter and two grandchildren a cozy holiday week and were happy about the private, secluded garden area and the silence in the night. The key handover (pre-enamel by the Schlosshern) worked fine. Good to know that you have to go to Roumont and not to Bertogne (so addressed Belvilla). The house was clean, the bathrooms are in good condition and hygienic. Those who do not like tourist attractions, who are completely on their own and enjoy themselves, biking, hiking or just relaxing in the garden and like the charm of old houses, choose here well.

Beautiful place near the forest, perfect for lovers of peace and nature. The house is located in a small cute village. The house is very spacious, with many extra spaces, such as a utility room, very large hall and study area, etc. A tip is to give the house a new paint job and replace worn furniture. It does look a bit tired. The beds are good, new mattresses and duvets it looks like.

The warm reception by the owners was enjoying the start of a week in a stylishly renovated, spacious holiday. The location near the Ourthe, hiking trails and is ideal with warm weather, you can plunge into the Ourthe or lazing in the shade of the trees. The region furthermore is plenty to visit, including with rain, you do not get bored. And the house - and certainly the kitchen - is so well equipped that extensive cooking is a pleasure. The only disadvantage to the work surface in the kitchen is a little cramped to cook for eight men - but with a little ingenuity (and the big table in the living room) that was quickly resolved. And yes, the week was much too quickly - we come here very much like 's back!

We enjoyed the peace and beautiful nature walks. Very friendly and helpful host. The house is charming and has the atmosphere of a typical Ardennes. Well situated for nature walks.

we had a wonderful weekend in this house. The owner was very friendly when the heating not caught on as well as the creation of the fireplace. The house is spacious and generous, and recently refurbished inside. Only the kitchen is a bit older. Also to the house you have all the space, privacy and lots of opportunities for hiking.
