The house is clean and spacious. Simply but practically furnished. Furniture is designed for 4 people, but the space is much larger. Tiled floors downstairs and wooden floors upstairs. The living room is quite dark. However, we were able to temporarily remove the curtains from the window. That helped a bit. Complete kitchen setup with a dishwasher and more than enough dishes. Beds are fine. Beautiful area for walking.

During our previous stays in the Ardennes, we always had a stay in or close to a forest where we could take beautiful walks. During our stay here, we always had to take the car, which we found a minus. In the village of Achouffe (a little further) you can take a nice walk in the forest.

The only drawback, for shopping you have to go about 7 km to the center of Houffalize. But this holiday home is definitely recommended.
