The house is beautifully furnished and offers a peaceful escape. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings and were pleasantly surprised by how close it was to local attractions. I recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

House was in excellent condition and met expectations. It is located in a very quiet area in nature, so you can start right away with your walking shoes on. Perfect for six adults. The kitchen and inventory was very extensive, much more available than for 6 people, so you can easily turn on the dishwasher. There are also many basic things (wipes, cleaning products, etc.) available, which is very nice. The beds are fine, the rented bed covers are a mess, no two sets are the same, but you sleep under them anyway. The rooms are spacious enough and the sauna was very popular. The garden - especially the gravel - could sometimes be cleared of weeds, this would certainly enrich the appearance.

A quietly located cottage on the edge of Houfalize, with many conveniences nearby. Some particularities that caught our attention: - Upon arrival, the cottage did not seem to be thoroughly cleaned; the beds and living room chairs smelled of sweat. There were also some food remnants in the drain and the toilet area smelled of urine. - Bring your own toilet paper and dishwasher tablets, as these were not present upon arrival. - The cottage is located in a hunting area. We only realized this halfway through our stay when we walked to the cottage; then the signs were clear. When we arrived the day before in the dark, that was not readable. - The sauna is really a great addition, especially after a day of hiking.

Cottage was fairly clean. Unfortunately still coffee from the previous visitors in the coffee pot. Cottage was nicely preheated on arrival, super friendly owner. Very nice area and nearby village. Cozy cafes and restaurants.Tip, in strong freezing weather, do not turn off the heating completely at bedtime. The house was icy cold in the morning.
