We had already been in the same area and would love to return again. Great mountain bike trails in the village of Houffalize and terrace with sun until at least 18:30. Perfect. Plenty of choice of Belgian specialty beers. Top weekend in a perfect environment. Recommended. The cottages at Les Jardin de l 'Ourthe are good. For people who have difficulty walking you have to drive. Steep climb towards the houses.

A but we knew in advance not think we had to pay cash bail and were therefor after a long trip first into the village to withdraw money (tried three spots, the first two machines were out of order), to which subsequently to the owner again bring. Only then we could get the keys to the cottage.

We were invited here for the second time, location is quiet and overlooking the back is fantastisch.Wij do have doubts whether there will be thoroughly cleaned the windows you can not see through, before you can eat best wash all something cabinets are really not proper.Bedden were not clean dirty spots on onderlakens.Hebben even earrings and a necklace found from previous users on both kamers.Denk not think I'm going back to this house despite ligging.Prijs quality is not recommended.

We have great fun. Some beautiful mountain bike trails ridden, beautiful brown trout caught in the Ourthe, fine Tourist Office, tasty gebbqed, fine Spar supermarket in the village, nice to stop by Achouffe, beautiful cottage with ample parking. And enormous luck with the weather, only sun.

We were a weekend with a group of four mountain bike enthusiasts. Cottage is a perfect base from which to drive all six routes. Houffalize is a 20-minute walk doing fine. Cottage is simple but with all necessary conveniences.

The location could not have been better for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by peaceful nature, we enjoyed long walks and discovered some great local restaurants. The house itself was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The cottage is located in a very nice spot with a view and next to the forest. The cottage itself is basic, fine, not super clean (in the cupboards, under the beds), but okay. As mentioned earlier; the floor gets very cold. The cottage is heated with electric heaters. There is a wood stove, but unfortunately, it turned out to be broken and could not be used. All in all, we had a nice time.

The houses are really equipped for a beautiful view on the garden side, but I can only imagine how much nicer it would have been through clean windows.

A quiet road to a cute wooden house. It looks small on the outside but is larger on the inside. The area is beautiful. A forest on one side. And on the other hand a fantastic view.

Overall a pleasant stay. The accommodation was clean and the electric heating worked perfectly. We had a few minor issues during check-in, but the host was very responsive. A nice base for our outdoor adventures.

The cottage is very well located, many opportunities for walking. Shops are within walking distance or by car. The house itself was fine, just a pity that the garden was not cleaned, reinsurance was not driven off, the garden was full of weeds, nettles. We have a dog that came with us and it actually offers no possibility to use the garden in this way. The children could not play in the garden either. The garden is also not fenced, so keep in mind that the dog must always be on a leash. The floors are parquet so it does creak. WiFi is available but of poor quality.

Very spacious and well-maintained, we had a group of friends and everyone had their own space. The garden was perfect for enjoying the sunny weather. Definitely a place we would consider visiting again!

Fine stay when you go cycling, a weekend cottage situated on the route. The house itself is basic, not really cozy. Plumbing was clean but beds and furniture has not amounted to much.

The reception was very bad. Key had to be picked up at a campsite nearby. There could not be pinched it had to be paid, cash paid. This was not reported in advance so we could first search for an ATM somewhere. The accommodation is fine. The location was wonderfully quiet at the end of a street passing into a hiking area.

Really a lovely, atmospheric house - all of wood inside. The pictures on the website show how well it is. The cottage has large windows, which gives you beautiful views of the forest and hills on both sides. We enjoyed the trees in autumn. to sit there, there is a BBQ, the youngest two children (8 and 5) have also played in the house on the video. The inventory was completely complete, and no comfortable beds and sofa !!! The floors, furniture the sanitary ware was tidy and clean.The kitchen cabinets (outside and inside) and mats were unfortunately not fresh.Tip take slippers, because the tiles feel fast cold and the house is difficult to heat because it is so high. the wood stove is doing the best and there are some electric stoves. Environment is hilly, you can go hiking and plenty of mountain biking. Beekjes, forest, picturesque towns and rural surroundings alternate. The reception at BB Pittoresque was very warm. Just look for where it was and, as mentioned before, take cash for the deposit. Tourist tax is also considered for children and is therefore somewhat higher than usual.
