We enjoyed our stay with you in the Ardennes. The cottage was perfectly located by the forest with many hiking trails from 3 to 20 kilometers right at the door. Although the decor was dated, everything was nice and clean and functioned properly. We had a nice welcome (and farewell on the last day) from the owner.

Everything is there in the cottage style dining convenience. New TV, blissful sitting seats, quiet nights. Only criticism is the toilet in the bathroom and that is puzzling 6 to 8 people and is not always easy. An additional toilet (shower?) Would be welcome. Lovely walks starting from the house, ideal for MTB "there or walker.

Large kitchen with all amenities. there is even a washing machine and freezer available where you can use. The stove in the living room doing well and creates a cozy atmosphere. Disadvantage: the toilet in the bathroom. We were 6 people and it is for showering just tune whoever else wants to go to the bathroom. We did have a lot of flies in the kitchen. Solved with flying adhesive strips. But it's not a very fresh face. The cottage is located on a cul de sac, quiet and so at the end of the road begins the forest where you can walk. No area with your mobile phone, regardless of which provider you have! Couvin lies 7 km away. In this village you will find everything from supermarkets to restaurants to cozy atm to eat. In addition, the stream at the bottom of the garden really advisable. Our children have hours of play. We had beautiful weather, so many have been outside. The room is dark. On rainy days what will be bleak. You can walk from the cottage different routes. Also, there is in the area enough to see. For major attractions need some further travel. We find it quite priced, especially when you see that it is exclusive and GW E. We were 1 1/2 week for a family of 7 people 80 euros spent on here. Around there sufficient activities, both bad and good weather. The cottage is fully equipped but is certainly not the most luxe.Wij and excellent holiday and were very sorry when it was over. The week in which old and new fell, we were taught Sittelles. A simple house, but fully equipped. We were welcomed by the owners, there was even a drink ready! Despite the cold, sometimes called "night to -10 degrees, we got it all over the house warm enough. The energy bill was therefore a bit high, but it will not often be so cold. We have a nice walk in the woods, where it albeit little signage, but with a hiking GPS there is a lot to walk. You can also make a nice tour through the forest, along the river, to the church of Bruly de Peche, and then along the way back. In the bedrooms, the ceiling is very low, so it is to watch out not to bump your head, but hey, once you get into your bed you got no more trouble. Highly recommended if you like peace and walking.

It is a very nice cottage in a very calm location. It does have an ambiance. Garden is also super-fantastic, especially for young kids. Facilities of the house (heating, warm water, kitchen utilities) are also absolutely okay. We would have appreciated a newer broom and a nicer dustpan. And also, if you want to make fried eggs for breakfast, bring your own non-stick frying pan, because there is none. No cutting board either.

Spent a week around the New Year in the holiday home in Bruly de Pesche in Belgium. The house is equipped with all necessary amenities. Friendly reception. Fortunately there was no snow because then you would need snow chains. The central heating runs on oil and it is behind a wall in the kitchen and makes a lot of noise, but works excellently. From the house you can go straight into the woods for a walk. There are several indicated walks in the area. The living room has a wood stove that can heat the room well.

Location is great, dead end street. Garden, great with many seats and a playground for the kids. A gate in the garden leads you to a beautiful nature reserve. Inside it is complete, beds are good, enough space in all rooms. And I'm guessing nice and cool in the summer. Kitchen was my favorite, a real kitchen, everything is there. I only missed a garlic press, but that's personal. Within walking distance of Bruly-de-Pesche 1940 bunker. Recommended!! Two tips for the great host: The information folder is very nice, but outdated. And I think the most important thing is to do something with the first staircase, place a second handrail on the right and a stair gate for safety. But all in all a nice place to relax. An absolute must!!!

We have the Christmas days a week with lots of snow holiday held. The house was super nice, the surroundings beautiful! The house was good to keep warm. The only thing we have had difficulty with it, was to get away from the house, through the snow. We have snow chains digging and eventually create the stores to reach. The people in the area were very helpful. The house is well furnished, On the 1st floor is a large bedroom with 4 beds, which have a small room attached to a bunk. On the 2nd floor is a 2-room, where you stooping under the beams, and into your bed but really delicious sleep. We were 4 children aged from 9/14 years of age, who do not currently have bored. There is a river in the garden, which in summer definitely fun to experience. Now they have the sloping hill in the garden had a lot of snow. The living room has a nice TV with DVD and tasty banks. The kitchen is very pleasant to use and very spacious. Short of us get this house in this place definitely thick as 7.5 rating!

We have a wonderful holiday. Les Sittelles located in a beautiful valley with lots of woods around it. Great for lots of walks and a nice quiet area. Also for our pets (2 dogs) was ideal because there is a large garden to the house, which was completely fenced, so our dogs could enjoy delicious.

There are several places to sit outside in the garden and a table to have your meals outside too. A good selection of dvds for the children and a cupboard full of board games. It is a very nice cottage in a very calm location. It does have an ambiance. Garden is also super-fantastic, especially for young kids.

Facilities of the house (heating, warm water, kitchen utilities) are also absolutely okay.

We would have appreciated a newer broom and a nicer dustpan.

And also, if you want to make fried eggs for breakfast, bring your own non-stick frying pan, because there is none. No cutting board either.

Indeed no range with GSM, but slightly higher in the street or -) Perfect reception, friendly owners and reliable (refund deposit by bank transfer the day after we left). Everything is there in the cottage style dining convenience. New TV, blissful sitting seats, quiet nights. Only criticism is the toilet in the bathroom and that is puzzling 6 to 8 people and is not always easy. An additional toilet (shower?) Would be welcome. Lovely walks starting from the house, ideal for MTB "there or walker.

It is an old, but very clean house. A bit dark inside, but what a fantastic garden. Lots of seats and corners. Always a place in the sun, or just under the trees in the shade. The birds fly to and fro. The cottage is fully furnished. All kinds of kitchen materials at hand. Very sweet and friendly managers. We had a wonderful holiday!!

We enjoyed the cottage, the large garden and the surroundings. The trees were in the most beautiful fall colors. The cottage is perhaps a bit old-fashioned, it is complete and a lovely place. The owners are friendly, patient people, easy to communicate with even though our French was not fantastic. A must for anyone looking for a house in a quiet place near the forest.

Super fine weather had! And be able to stay in a house that was well located. Bedroom upstairs with some small side. All basic comfort but rather outdated. Our little men have lots and safely romp in the stream and the garden. You can very well relax.

Reception was good, only a pity that the lady could not speak Dutch. Bit dated and not everywhere clean, Mattress was full of sand. Nice quiet area. Many area attractions and beautiful hiking trails.

really a house for people looking for peace, close to the forest with a beautiful garden. The decor may feel a bit dated to some, but it does suit the house. Hiking opportunities abound and close to Couvin and Chimay.
