Located in Mettet, this is a 15 bedroom mansion, which is beautiful, spacious, elegant, luxurious, and tastefully furnished. It has a private swimming pool to take a refreshing dip on a hot day and a sauna to relax your muscles. It is an ideal choice for family groups of 40 people to 60 people including children.
Mettet is located in a rural area, near the tourist complex Maredsous abbey with its beer and cheese. The cities of Namur and Dinant are worth a visit. At 1 km, you have the forest to go for lovely walks. The town center with supermarkets, nightlife pubs, and restaurants rests at 2 km.
This elegant mansion still exudes the authenticity and comfort of wealthy families from previous centuries. There is a private fenced furnished garden to lie down relaxing in the sun and to play with children. After enjoying barbecue evenings, you can grab a drink at the bar. In the TV room, there is a game computer for children to enjoy. Pets are prohibited here. Parking is also available.

We had a fantastic weekend. The chateau is really fully equipped and the garden is grand and wonderful. The check-in and check-out went very smoothly. It was epic.

Beautiful and well-kept house. We have spent a great weekend with 50 (24 adults and 26 children). Everything is there to make a nice stay possible, definitely worth repeating.

Bedrooms were charming with good mattresses and the bathrooms were very nicely appointed. We very much enjoyed the pool and sauna. Kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of pots, pans and dinnerware. The surrounding garden is beautiful.

Very good communication with the owners during the preparation of our weekend. The castle is really fantastic, everything is fine and very clean, and the beds are fantastic. Friendly and correct reception at check-in. There was another problem with the deck of the pool, but the owner resolved this immediately upon our arrival. The swimming pool and jacuzzi ensure that little bit more. The budget is a bit higher, but it is definitely worth it. In the neighborhood you can make beautiful walks around the abbey of Maredsous (very sturdy!) And the rail bikes were also fun to do. Highly recommended!

The Chateau is easily accessible with plenty of parking and plenty of supermarkets and other amenities in the area. The house is fully equipped. The garden is huge and fenced, a good place for children to play freely and ideal place for a treasure hunt. For adults, the in-between room with the bar is a cozy addition in the evening. The only thing that could be improved is the TV room, the WiFi was often too weak for Netflix or other streaming services.

A perfect new remodeled house with indoor pool and sauna, a large and practical kitchen and very well maintained slaapkamers.Ideaal for large groups where still the format everyone can do his thing (read chatting in living room, sitting at the bar, play xbox in playroom with piano or swimming \/ sauna). A perfect kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils and a large dining room (it lacks some atmosphere).

Very nice spacious property. Well equipped house, very large garden. We were only half full. For 60 people I would find it too small. Then more toilets and bathrooms would be an advantage. Very suitable for 30 to 40 people. It would be nice if there were still sun loungers.
The place is a very good starting point for excursions. There are several beautiful towns in the area.

The country house is beautiful. There were good agreements about the check-in. There is enough parking space at the house when you come with families. The area is beautiful. Meadows with photogenic cows. Nearby (<500 meters) are large supermarkets where you can go for a wide range.

Great house, loved the pool and the sauna. Everything was clean and fresh, the kitchen was large and functional. If you are planning to do a lot of cooking as a guest I do advise you to bring your own knives, kitchen robot, mixer, garlic press ....

A great place to stay for a family reunion especially with the park like garden offering plenty of space and a wonderful atmosphere. The kitchen also offers plenty of space for several people to work in it, a small disadvantage was that the baskets of the dishwasher did not hold the weight of the plates and could only be loaded a little, which was a bit of a hindrance for the many things used, but this got it I wrote to the landlord so that better equipment might be bought in the future. All in all, we had a wonderful time there, which everyone enjoyed.

We had a great company retreat at the Chateau St Jean in Mettet. Next to the great facilities inside the house, the garden was huge and allowed for team building activities with our group of 60 people. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed five days at Chateau St. Jean in "opportunity" great family reunion (48 people). C "is the" ideal place to meet and spend wonderful moments. Comfort, space, cleanliness, more than full equipment. The kids enjoyed the pool and garden. The large fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare great family meals. Everything is planned for 60 people. We don 'have that "one hurry, find us there quickly. I highly recommend this accommodation to all.

Château St-Jean has surprised us positively in all respects. The property was renovated in detail and really fully equipped. Everything is new and top quality incl. Lovely heated indoor pool. It is furnished with taste and we as a company being here with 30 people may experience a great weekend. The homeowners have us around and were very flexible with our arrival and departure times, that this is an absolute must to book.
