First complete house with a lovely, enclosed garden, where our dogs had a lot to sniff around. The house is somewhat dated, but comfortable, complete, clean. The new pellet stove was a bit tricky to manage in the first few days, but then it went well. We were looking for a quiet environment, without (much) fireworks, and we found that.

We felt very comfortable. The house shone with its charm. We were completely satisfied. A small drawback is the fish stock in the ponds, unfortunately poor conditions. Too much perch present. Stocking with carp would be advisable.

Since 2014, we have been spending at least 2 weeks a year in this chalet. We enjoy the peace in the middle of nature. You have absolute privacy. You can take long walks in the surrounding forests, enjoy the spacious garden by the two ponds, BBQ on the terrace, fish, read a book by the pellet stove, cook in the well-equipped kitchen, paint or draw on a bench under the weeping willow, in short, completely relax far away from deadlines and to-do lists... In the chalet itself, everything is available. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. There is a TV, wifi, and a cozy pellet stove in the living room. Ciney is nearby. There you will find all possible shops and department stores. We have already rebooked for a holiday week in February and November 2026. It is always something to look forward to a stay in this charming holiday home. A recommendation.

Nice little house, a bit dated, but with a complete interior. Beautifully located in a very large garden, ideal for dogs.. the edging of the fish ponds needs to be replaced. The price of electricity, which must be paid separately, is on the high side. We had a great time.... caught a lot of fish and had very nice weather.

We enjoyed the peace and nature during a sunny week of spring break. The holiday home is located by 2 ponds, surrounded by greenery, trees, and the river Le Bocq. The house itself is well-equipped. You have everything you need for a wonderful vacation. We like coming here and have been booking at least twice a year since 2014. The friendly owner ensures a warm welcome. We spent a working holiday in Braibant, in Les Peupliers de la Pêcherie, a cosy chalet, surrounded by 2 beautiful ponds and the river Le Box.
We have been booking here at least twice a year since 2014. It is wonderful to stay here in the middle of nature. The homeowner provides a friendly welcome.
The house has everything you could possibly need, all kitchen appliances are also present and of good quality.
You can walk for hours in the region. Fishermen can indulge themselves in the ponds on the estate.
When the weather is nice, it is wonderful to stay in the garden/on the terrace. Dogs are welcome and can run around to their heart's content in the enclosed garden.
We have lost our hearts here and have already booked our next holiday.

A beautiful location that is completely fenced. This allowed our dogs to run around freely and discover everything. The owner is a friendly man, the cottage is clean and the surroundings are great. Definitely worth booking this chalet. Oh yes, my friend also managed to fish 2 grass carp and a number of other carp from the ponds, so for a fisherman it is also highly recommended.

The accommodation was great. We sat there with two big dogs, great room for those two and also for us. Nearby we found great for walking. Powered cottage without surprises. You get what you see in the picture 's a decent chalet with all the necessary basic comfort, very quiet situated on landscaped ponds. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, everything went very smoothly. Our two dogs were also more than welcome in the fully fenced garden! We had some initial shock of nuisance from a nearby train track, but this was much higher than the house, so it made surprisingly little (to almost nothing) to hear (especially in the cottage itself). We can go well walking and cycling. For cyclists too base, eg to the valley of the Meuse (Namur, Dinant ...). Our next stay already booked!

Nice terrace with garden furniture. The grounds were beautiful with so much greenery and a gentle river around the garden. Despite the many duckweed, my husband got a lot of carp, which we have put back. It is a place to relax. We only found it difficult to find good maladies to walk with our dogs.

Last year we wanted to visit this chalet once before, but on the way by accident when we are not hit. The expectations were high this holiday. Our (now new) dog was, and she was obviously confused our new residence in the Ardennes (she's already been along several times to another house). The garden, however, soon fell into the taste and she ran around the ponds as a young foal, really cool to see her occupied. Inside, it was difficult to find her turn, the new sofa is very good, but is not really suitable for a playful Dane ... Her pillow for the stove liked her again very good! The decor was certainly adequate for us ! The equipment in the kitchen is thick OK, our bedroom was near the train tracks but it seems like the trains that glide past instead storms, so we have certainly not bother experienced. In terms of cleanliness there was nothing to criticize. The only niggle was that the shower was almost over, but when we left there was sufficient attention given to and they started to dissolve. This was for us a nice vacation that is certainly worth repeating!

Perfectly groomed and clean house with very friendly owners who really make the effort to please please, even some Dutch and English trying to speak if you can not cope in French. Plenty of fish in the ponds and also caught quite a few, there are several fish (6 species caught by us) most carp. Perfect beds, slept, curtain in the bathroom missing, but we solved with a towel. Only downside we could find are the low couch and chairs in the living room. Our dog Rosie has great freely able to scratch without the fear that she could walk away, really enjoy her and us around.

A great house! It is spacious with a nice big kitchen and living room. A small minus is the (bed) in the living room. This is due to low height not suitable for people over 60. (Only if your dog is not afraid of water can he cross the stream behind the cottage and go to the sheep.) The 2 fishing ponds are fine, there are reasonable carp and small fish in them. Trips such as to the city of Dinant with the Citadel, sailing a boat on the Maas, kayaking on the river Lesse and to the caves of Han are highly recommended. Located in a beautiful location, with 2 large fish ponds where you can catch very large carp, with lots of land and nature around it. You will be very warmly welcomed.

We are geweest.Samen last week with our two children, aged 8 and 3 years was a great week. Wonderfully quiet, the kids and my husband had a delicious gevist.Ze routes have done on the bike and we visited some towns. Really repeating!

This morning we say goodbye to the wonderful house in Braibant, Ciney. 2 private fish pits that can be used all year round. You are not far from the town of Ciney, but you can also easily go to Marche-en-Fammenne, Durbuy or Bouillon. In short, for the fisherman and for the peace and quiet, you can really go here with or without kids and 2 dogs can come for free. The 9.0 they received from Belvilla is no exaggeration.

A nice house in a beautiful setting with two ponds. Truly a place to unwind. We hesitated at first because it is written in the review was that there was a low settee and everyone complained about it. The area with ponds made us do to this house to go and guess what, they have new sofas and chair put down. Everything was super, owner is super friendly and helpful. The only thing I missed was serving spoons and a bread knife. Otherwise everything was complete and would definitely come back here. highly recommended.

We had a lovely holiday, two weeks enjoyed the peace and freedom in and around the house. Perfectly groomed and clean house with very friendly owners who really make the effort to please please, even some Dutch and English trying to speak if you can not cope in French. Plenty of fish in the ponds and also caught quite a few, there are several fish (6 species caught by us) most carp. Perfect beds, slept, curtain in the bathroom missing, but we solved with a towel. Only downside we could find are the low couch and chairs in the living room. Our dog Rosie has great freely able to scratch without the fear that she could walk away, really enjoy her and us around.

We stayed the time "a weekend. Unfortunately the weather wasn" t the appointment (not surprising for the season) but we enjoyed the "infrastructure as well as the comfort of the chalet. Stay a little short but hope to return to spend more time.

A great house! It is spacious with a nice big kitchen and living room. A small minus is the (bed) in the living room. This is due to low height not suitable for people over 60. However great the fireplace that makes the whole very cozy in the winter months. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The property is well maintained. We did enjoy the beautiful garden with large ponds. We even saw a kingfisher, cormorant and great egret. Definitely go back again!

For the second time in the chalet and it was the weather gods back the blissful peace after the daily sleur.alleen were not but we did not let it get to our heart, we do have the bedroom and kitchen window fly screens done a bit of trouble vermin it would be better to fly to the kitchen a door to plaatsen.maar otherwise nothing to complain about, we will definitely come terug.Gr Fam.David Belgium

The owner is very friendly and flexible. The accommodation was immaculate on arrival and the domain is huge and soothing. Dogs are free and you feel like dog owner ever really welcome. A stove and a new lounge make the atmosphere complete. Highly recommended.

The house looks fine neat, all the (basic) comforts, enough space and suitable for dogs. There really is no downside to invent. Goes behind the house or a train, but we have little interference encountered. The owner was not present but the person who received us the spot was very friendly and made an effort to speak Dutch. Definitely recommended!

beautiful garden which is enclosed everywhere. so the dogs could go about their business. for the pole angler who once every min want a super fish catch. Himself tried carp (manager had told that there had been this year a disease in carp and were much died) but to no avail. Well caught many small fish. All in all we see you back !!!

Last year we wanted to visit this chalet once before, but on the way by accident when we are not hit. The expectations were high this holiday. Our (now new) dog was, and she was obviously confused our new residence in the Ardennes (she's already been along several times to another house). The garden, however, soon fell into the taste and she ran around the ponds as a young foal, really cool to see her occupied. Inside, it was difficult to find her turn, the new sofa is very good, but is not really suitable for a playful Dane ... Her pillow for the stove liked her again very good! The decor was certainly adequate for us ! The equipment in the kitchen is thick OK, our bedroom was near the train tracks but it seems like the trains that glide past instead storms, so we have certainly not bother experienced. In terms of cleanliness there was nothing to criticize. The only niggle was that the shower was almost over, but when we left there was sufficient attention given to and they started to dissolve. This was for us a nice vacation that is certainly worth repeating!

Great place for holiday. Quiet and rural garden with fish ponds. The garden is trimmed so that the dog can roam loose. The house has everything you need and a very friendly owner who received us. We will definitely come back one more time.

The cottage was spacious and clean, and the garden divided soothing and beautiful. the view was beautiful, and the large ponds. if it is very hot there are mosquitoes and horzels.de garden is fenced, but there are places where the river runs through, and there is no gate.
