The house is located in a very rural area and the kitchen is very well equipped. The swimming pool is nice and large, so you can also swim laps. Unfortunately, there are only cold showers there and in the house, a bathtub where you can rinse off. Overall, it is cozily designed and clean. There are also enough storage spaces and options to hang towels. Only the toilet lacks a towel hook. The landlord only speaks French, but is very, very friendly!

It is a lovely house with a good distance to various attractions in the area. Also a nice Komoot walk directly from home. Please note the relatively narrow beds (1m40 for 2 people) and there is only a bathtub with a showerhead. The pool is truly substantial and very nice, friendly owner, we enjoyed it and would love to come back again.

Had a great vacation. Friendly host who also made an effort to speak Dutch. 100% privacy. Great heated pool that we had available all the time. The only downside is that the sofa in the room is in urgent need of renewal. Due to the steep roads, the area is not suitable for tourist cycling, but there are the RaVel routes where you can perfectly ride with a regular or electric bike.

during our first stay in April, the sofa in the living room was very bad, in need of replacement. now for the second time we are here, but the old sagging torn sofa is still there. what a disappointment for our family. another important note, the toilet in the pool was locked so we couldn't use it either. really a disappointment.

A wonderful stay with the Charlot family – highly recommended! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the charming cottage of the Charlot family. The cottage is beautifully located, just a 15-minute drive from Dinant, and offers breathtaking views of the green surroundings – truly an oasis of peace! Inside, the cottage is cozy and comfortably furnished, with two excellent double beds where we slept wonderfully. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. An absolute highlight is the private pool: clean, quietly located, and completely for our own use – blissful to relax here after a day of exploring. There is also more than enough to do in the region. From hiking and kayaking to discovering charming villages and, of course, a visit to Dinant itself. There is something for everyone. In short: a perfect spot to unwind and explore the Ardennes. We will definitely be back!

Very nice reception, owner tries to make you feel comfortable and is very easy to call. He also came by halfway through the holidays to give a bottle of specialty beer. Cottage itself was not very big, but fine. Very nice that you could also sit outside. The swimming pool was also bigger than it looked in the pictures. Surroundings are very beautiful, you can do enough fun things or take beautiful walks in the area.

it is a nice quiet accommodation with a nice swimming pool, the kids 3 and 9 felt at home. It is quietly located at the end of a street in a small village. Upon saying goodbye, the owner brought a delicious bottle of beer. Please note, outside of the holidays many things are closed, we were here at the end of October.

Neatly received and the owner even brought a big bottle of beer from the local brewery on day 3. beds are great and the kitchen is well laid out. Oven and microwave work great and are clean. Host is generally attentive although he does not respond to emails. Heated pool via solar panels and heat pump, so temperature limited by the host (I dare not imagine the temperature in winter). Acceptable indoor temperature, but not adjustable ("because, well, life is expensive" as he told me).

A wonderful stay with the Charlot family – highly recommended! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the charming cottage of the Charlot family. The cottage is beautifully located, just a 15-minute drive from Dinant, and offers breathtaking views of the green surroundings – truly an oasis of peace! Inside, the cottage is cozy and comfortably furnished, with two excellent double beds where we slept wonderfully. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. An absolute highlight is the private pool: clean, quietly located, and completely for personal use – blissful to relax here after a day of exploring. There is more than enough to do in the region as well. From hiking and kayaking to discovering charming villages and, of course, a visit to Dinant itself. There is something for everyone. In short: a perfect spot to unwind and explore the Ardennes. We will definitely come back!

A lovely little house completely away from the hustle and bustle. A nice host and a large swimming pool. For us, this meant beautiful days, among other things, in the caves of Han. Beautiful walks. The Citadel, the cable car. And then in the evening, a lovely swim. Absolute recommendation.

It was not clean. Cobwebs everywhere, dirty doors, old kitchen utensils. It takes 5 minutes for the electric stove to heat up. There were spiders and earwigs floating in the pool. Host nice but has no eye for a clean house.

The kitchen and furniture in and around the house need updating, but the swimming pool is fantastic. The environment is beautiful and can be wonderfully quiet depending on the work of the neighbors around the house. The owner is very friendly.

Very nice reception, owner tries to make you feel comfortable and is very easy to call. He also came by halfway through the holidays to give a bottle of specialty beer. Cottage itself was not very big, but fine. Very nice that you could also sit outside. The swimming pool was also bigger than it looked in the pictures. Surroundings are very beautiful, you can do enough fun things or take beautiful walks in the area.

it is a nice quiet accommodation with a nice swimming pool, the kids 3 and 9 felt at home. It is quietly located at the end of a street in a small village. Conveniently located to view things like the caves of Han and enjoy rail biking. It is located around the corner at the BOCQ brewery. Upon saying goodbye, the owner brought a delicious bottle of beer. Please note, outside of the holidays many things are closed, we were here at the end of October.

Very nice and clean house with swimming pool. Swimming pool is even better finished than in the photos. Neatly received and the owner even brought a big bottle of beer from the local brewery on day 3. beds are great and the kitchen is well laid out. Oven and microwave work great and are clean. Iron, changing pad, cot, high chair, hand blender, large freezer and nicer garden furniture than in the photos.
