The cottage is located in a beautiful spot with a very nice view. The cottage itself is reasonable. It is absolutely not for 6 people. It is too small for that and there are no 6 places to sit. The couch is sagging and the two rattan chairs are uncomfortable. There are 6 dining chairs that are hard and straight. The kitchen is fine with everything you need. In previous references, it was already mentioned that the floor creaks and indeed everyone hears you walking. The bathroom is fine. The bedrooms are small and in each room there is a 1.40 bed with a very bad mattress. We put two mattresses on top of each other, but even then you could feel the springs and there was a dip. This is really not up to date anymore. There was also nothing next to your bed to put your book, glasses, etc. on, so we had to bring in a chair and a small cabinet from somewhere else. The shutters for the windows were nice. The house itself was pleasantly warm and clean. Oh yes, the garage cannot be closed and locked, and also one of the bedroom doors, the "biggest" one, cannot fall into the lock and therefore regularly opens. All in all, we had a decent vacation because there were only 2 of us and we had super nice weather.

The reception was provided by a friend of the owners who live in the village of Vencimont. The greeting was hearty, we were escorted to the chalet. A little more explanation about the operation of the digibox, wifi and business in general (thus closing the chalet door in an unusual way with the sound), was welcome. Surrounding area is beautiful! Woody, beautiful view from the chalet which is also very quiet. An absolute must, village has bakery, butcher, fryer, cafe, and supermarket is 10 km away. Pros, very neatly maintained, beautiful view from the living and bedroom, spacious terrace, all utilities asnzig, good wifi and flat screen tv with reception of one and canvas + other of course. Negatives, suitable for 4 people, fireplace can not be used, parquet cracking terrible. Price / quality I personally feel too expensive due to the high additional costs (in our case additional cost of 182 euros for 1 week) on top of the rental price. Overall score 7.5 / 10, and definitely recommended!

Overall a great house. Everything is there, except for some small things. We missed a kettle or kettle. And there were no decent beer glasses or wine glasses. The frying pans need to be replaced. We, on the other hand, did not find the creaking wooden floor a problem, this is part of the house. But the beds are a bit tight. I'm not tall, but I'm tall. L. Hubby is 1.94 tall, so a bed of 1.40x2.00 is a bit cramped. And to sleep separately.....Unfortunately due to the bad weather we were unable to enjoy the garden or the balcony. But when the weather is nice it's great!

Beautiful, spacious, higher chalet with a lovely veranda. The bedrooms are not all equally spacious, four people is good, more people in the bedrooms is a bit tight. Shower has lovely hot water. Kitchen quite complete. Getting used to the hob and opening the garage. The chalet overlooks Vencimont. Excellent walking area. The supermarket is about 7 km. In the village of Vencimont you can walk to the butcher and the bakery. There is also a restaurant. We had a wonderful holiday!

The arrival was well arranged. At the pick-up address we received a piece of paper in Dutch on which everything was explained. The cottage is near the key address. The house is beautiful, hot view over the village in it is beautiful! The house has a very spacious garage, otherwise it is not that spacious. The bedrooms are very small and the double beds are 140 cm wide. The mattresses are nothing short of bad! We therefore did not sleep well. Furthermore, the house looks dated from the inside, the floor creaks enormously. In the bathroom the bath leaks (also when showering) water flows over the floor in the bathroom. There is internet via WiFi, but the connection is very slow and drops out every few minutes.A plus is the provided washing machine and BBQ (both in the garage). The environment is nice and there is a lot to do.

Chalet is beautifully situated and fully equipped, even a washing machine in the very spacious garage. Can also be heated well in the month of December. We were not welcomed by the owner himself, but there was for us a bottle of red wine ready which was a nice, unexpected surprise! The cottage was cozy and very clean with a very nice view of the garden and the village. There was plenty of utensils and cutlery also all very clean. The hob does not always give the same amount of heat as the oven (but maybe we operated the oven right -)) .The bedroom and bathroom were not large, but also good in terms of heating. However, a point of criticism for the living room. We found that the heating was inadequate in the living room / kitchen, partly because pretty much tour that came through one of the front windows. There was a fireplace, but we were not allowed aansteken.De environment was ideal for walkers basic shopping in the village itself, but a 10 min drive many shops. Very quiet street which it was nice and quiet to sleep.

Nice house with great view. We have rented this house for a week and find it highly recommended. Environment is nice and quiet. There is not much to do in the area. Cycling is difficult. Walking is fine. The house is good, the porch and garden are lovely. Bathroom has recently had a renovation, and is nice. Points of improvement for the house: - a wooden floor may crack, but in the kitchen it needs to be repaired. There it creaks so hard that you will disturb it. Beds are not comfortable. A few new mattresses would not be a luxury. Nice house if you want a quiet holiday!

Garage is included (just try and measure, because it is tight). The cottage has (almost) everything you can think of, only a kettle was missing (so, if you are a tea drinker, bring your own!) Still, a serious point of criticism are the beds: they are NOT comfortable (and then I express myself fairly subtly!), and in terms of format no longer of this time.

The house has a good location, the living space and kitchen are smaller than the photos show on the website. The bedrooms and the bathroom are very small. You can barely get around the bed, the beds are also small and the mattresses can best to use a renewal. In the bathroom there are traces of mold to see. In a May holiday midweek in this house sat. The house has a beautiful location. It is nicely decorated and has a nice kitchen. On arrival we were given a bottle of wine! Car can stand in the garage. House seems a little small for six people. Too bad that the fire can not be used anymore because that would have increased the atmosphere.

The reception was provided by a friend of the owners who live in the village of Vencimont. The greeting was hearty, we were escorted to the chalet. A little more explanation about the operation of the digibox, wifi and business in general (thus closing the chalet door in an unusual way with the sound), was welcome. Surrounding area is beautiful! Woody, beautiful view from the chalet which is also very quiet. An absolute must, village has bakery, butcher, fryer, cafe, and supermarket is 10 km away. Pros, very neatly maintained, beautiful view from the living and bedroom, spacious terrace, all utilities asnzig, good wifi and flat screen tv with reception of one and canvas + other of course. Negatives, suitable for 4 people, fireplace can not be used, parquet cracking terrible. Price / quality I personally feel too expensive due to the high additional costs (in our case additional cost of 182 euros for 1 week) on top of the rental price. Overall score 7.5 / 10, and definitely recommended!

On arrival we were kindly received by the key lady. She guided us to the chalet and explained everything. Chalet is beautifully situated and fully equipped, even a washing machine in the very spacious garage. Can also be heated well in the month of December. Beautiful wooded area with a lot of beautiful signposted hiking trails.

Beautiful, spacious, higher chalet with a lovely veranda. The bedrooms are not all equally spacious, four people is good, more people in the bedrooms is a bit tight. Shower has lovely hot water. Kitchen quite complete. Getting used to the hob and opening the garage. The chalet overlooks Vencimont. Excellent walking area. The supermarket is about 7 km. In the village of Vencimont you can walk to the butcher and the bakery. There is also a restaurant. We had a wonderful holiday!

Nice house with great view. We have rented this house for a week and find it highly recommended. Environment is nice and quiet. There is not much to do in the area. Cycling is difficult. Walking is fine. The house is good, the porch and garden are lovely. Bathroom has recently had a renovation, and is nice. Points of improvement for the house: - a wooden floor may crack, but in the kitchen it needs to be repaired. There it creaks so hard that you will disturb it. Beds are not comfortable. A few new mattresses would not be a luxury. Nice house if you want a quiet holiday!

Not visible in the pictures but definitely worth it.Immediately adjacent to a large alternating walking area with dozens of marked routes.Home further equipped.Alle very friendly they helped us on the road again when the car battery turned out empty.

Overall a great house. Everything is there, except for some small things. We missed a kettle or kettle. And there were no decent beer glasses or wine glasses. The frying pans need to be replaced. We, on the other hand, did not find the creaking wooden floor a problem, this is part of the house. But the beds are a bit tight. I'm not tall, but I'm tall. L. Hubby is 1.94 tall, so a bed of 1.40x2.00 is a bit cramped. And to sleep separately.....Unfortunately due to the bad weather we were unable to enjoy the garden or the balcony. But when the weather is nice it's great!

Just 1km from the cottage is a large bakker.Enige downside was perhaps the single toilet in the bathroom. For everything else was present and spacious enough for us.

We were not welcomed by the owner himself, but there was for us a bottle of red wine ready which was a nice, unexpected surprise! The cottage was cozy and very clean with a very nice view of the garden and the village. There was plenty of utensils and cutlery also all very clean. The hob does not always give the same amount of heat as the oven (but maybe we operated the oven right -)) .The bedroom and bathroom were not large, but also good in terms of heating. However, a point of criticism for the living room. We found that the heating was inadequate in the living room / kitchen, partly because pretty much tour that came through one of the front windows. There was a fireplace, but we were not allowed aansteken.De environment was ideal for walkers basic shopping in the village itself, but a 10 min drive many shops. Very quiet street which it was nice and quiet to sleep.

In a May holiday midweek in this house sat. The house has a beautiful location. It is nicely decorated and has a nice kitchen. On arrival we were given a bottle of wine! Car can stand in the garage. The cottage was extremely cozy and quiet place, ideal for walks dropouts in the region. A hike to the highest point of Namur is definitely recommended. Afterwards we have a hot chocolate \/ local beer to drink with Alain his tavern in Venciment, so pleasant that we ended the next day one more time to have our walk)

Beautiful house in a quiet place. Not much to do in the immediate area. Due to the steep roads, walking and cycling are only suitable for fit people. Very nice house, great view and location !!!!Fantastic place for walking. Also enough space around the house so that the children can play. Garage is included (just try and measure, because it is tight). The cottage has (almost) everything you can think of, only a kettle was missing (so, if you are a tea drinker, bring your own!) Still, a serious point of criticism are the beds: they are NOT comfortable (and then I express myself fairly subtly!), and in terms of format no longer of this time.

The house has a good location, the living space and kitchen are smaller than the photos show on the website. The bedrooms and the bathroom are very small. You can barely get around the bed, the beds are also small and the mattresses can best to use a renewal. In the bathroom there are traces of mold to see. The arrival was well arranged. At the pick-up address we received a piece of paper in Dutch on which everything was explained. The cottage is near the key address. The house is beautiful, hot view over the village in it is beautiful! The house has a very spacious garage, otherwise it is not that spacious. The bedrooms are very small and the double beds are 140 cm wide. The mattresses are nothing short of bad! We therefore did not sleep well. Furthermore, the house looks dated from the inside, the floor creaks enormously. In the bathroom the bath leaks (also when showering) water flows over the floor in the bathroom. There is internet via WiFi, but the connection is very slow and drops out every few minutes.A plus is the provided washing machine and BBQ (both in the garage). The environment is nice and there is a lot to do.
