We rented this character Gite1 week for 4 families with children (8 adults and 6 children, senior 6 years). It is a spacious and comfortable house with garden and a professionally equipped kitchen, where it was possible to cook for 14 people. The holiday met our needs. We were unfortunate that the dishwasher part was when we arrived on Friday but Saturday is already a repairman come along and we could use the dishwasher the rest of the weekend. We also greatly enjoyed the fireplace in the living room.

Pleasant and spacious holiday. Rooms with (small) bathroom are definitely a plus in this price range. Rooms were very neat and well maintained. Kitchen was very spacious and professional, but hygiene left much to be desired and that is a shame because for the rest nothing but positive! Very welcoming owner!

We have with our children and grandchildren a long weekend spent in Ardenna. The gite was very well equipped eight luxury two double bedrooms, a professional kitchen, a spacious living room with even a pool table! The host was very friendly and helpful (with the creation of the fire in the fireplace). The surroundings are very pretty towns and plenty of opportunities for nature walks.

Very nice house. The amenities were good. There was some difficulty in getting the oven on, but with the help of the owner, who lives next to the house, we succeeded. The kitchen was also spacious. We were very satisfied with the stay. The house was simply but comfortably furnished and was spacious to accommodate a large family. Everyone could find their place there. The billiards inside and the ping pong table outside were coveted games. In the evenings, games were played by the crackling wood fire. The quality of the materials was OK. The upstairs rooms were spacious and tidy, the beds were covered. The house owner also deserves praise. He lives next door and he was very accessible but discreet and helped us directly on with every question. We also had a view of the spacious garden at the back. Fortunately, we had no noise pollution from the busy National road at the front. The holiday home was also in the center of the village and very close to a small department store. We were received by a very friendly landlord. Unfortunately only speaks French and this was very unfortunate. Also the fire was lit and this felt like a warm welcome. On the first floor, 1 bathroom for 4 bedrooms was very little compared to the second floor. Furthermore, the kitchen was well equipped, just a bit grubby here and there. Spacious holiday home with professional kitchen which makes cooking easy for many people. Large refrigerator and freezer ensure less back and forth to the shops. Unfortunately the owner only speaks French, but we were aware of that. Owner has given a tour upon arrival and can explain the most important things. It is a spacious house with beautiful refurbished bedrooms. Bathrooms with every bedroom on the 2nd floor are ideal! 1st floor bathroom smelled musty / damp. Ground floor (living room and kitchen) contains outdated furniture, especially tables and chairs need replacing. Very large kitchen with all kinds of equipment, but old-fashioned. The house is on a main road, hardly any traffic at night. Large back garden with seating, unfortunately not many sunny places to sit. In the area are nice places and opportunities for walking. Large swimming pool and sports center in Givet, France, a 15-minute drive away.

We were well received for a weekend with the friends. The house is spacious and fully equipped. An industrial kitchen with a large fridge. GasBBQ is also very useful. The billiard table was a success. It was pretty warm to sleep. The nice thing is that the owner is also Kok, so we let him cook on Sunday instead of going to a restaurant. It is a busy road, but in the house you do not suffer from it. In the neighborhood you can walk, but there is not much nearby, but that was not of such great importance to us.

The arrival was fine. The friendly owner explained where everything stood and how the equipment works. There was plenty of use of the pool table and the fireplace was lovely. The house is located on the road between Pondrome and Wellin, but we did not suffer from the cars passing by. The house is owned by landlord Edmond, who a few years ago operated a restaurant in Celles (25 km from Pondrome).
