The ancient Forest of Ardennes is great for walks, hikes, and cycle tours, which offer peace and picturesque views. You will find supermarkets in the town center at 4 km and restaurants at 5 km. There are beautiful tourist areas nearby, such as Dinant, Han sur Lesse, Chimay, and Rochefort.
Stretch out in front of the woodstove in the living/dining room on colder evenings and enjoy pizzas or cakes baked in the oven in the kitchen. There is an illuminated fenced garden to lie down relaxing with a cool drink and sunbathing. Children have ample space to romp and play along with the play equipment. A typical Ardennes cottage. Very nice area with lots of walking options. Huisje is not grand chic but has all the necessities needed. Ideal for people with a dog. Will definitely come back.

We enjoyed the cozy, authentic house where everything is present to spend a holiday without worries. Super friendly and welcoming reception, lots of tips for walks, visits, shops, etc ... including.Half november and beautiful weather allowing us even in the afternoon to eat outside on the sun-drenched terrace, with a sublime view! enjoy the warmth of the wood stove. The only downside is not too good mattresses.

We had a wonderful week. The cottage was small and cozy everything was there and there. The reception was very good we were a little earlier and could enter the house. The surroundings are beautiful, especially if you are sitting on the terrace with a cup of coffee and the sun is rising. We enjoyed the beautiful walks and we also drove by car to places where we would not go otherwise. Many exit possibilities. We have had the top and did not want to leave. We really felt at home. Only thing was the busy road in front of the house ....

Upon arriving, the house turned out to be lying away. The pictures can not be seen here. The often heavy traffic raises at a fast speed not even 3 meters past the front door. No ideal situation for walking with the children or the dog. The house is on the small side. It is striking that in each room there are clues to do what to do and what not to do. The setting is beautiful and the view from the veranda across the meadows is amazing.

The trip went smoothly and the arrival was fantastic in one word! Beautiful setting, atmospheric cottage and a friendly host that has been received. The cottage is small but big enough and equipped with all the modern conveniences. The surroundings are very beautiful and the view from the veranda is very nice. Everything is within easy driving distance. The ceiling height is low for us as long Dutch, but that did not bother! We enjoyed it very much.

Nice house in a hamlet. Spacious backyard with playhouse for children and a beautiful view over the fields. In the area enough beautiful places for day trips. The egg dishes bar does very best and responds quickly to questions. Two points ... it is a traditional cottage that therefore is quite charming, but also has the original low ceilings. Stoop so! Also included is a staircase in the living room so crawling with children is careful.
