Beautiful house, pool, and land included. Only we found the entire house dirty. The parquet floor has gaps and there is all sorts in there. Dust everywhere. Beds good, kitchen items sufficient and reasonably clean. And the biggest problem was the separate TV area. In a large space, it echoed through the house, making conversation downstairs difficult. Due to circumstances, we only stayed five out of ten days. What we actually didn't mind too much because being together as a family was a downside due to the TV upstairs. The pool was not heated and leaking! And the huge fireplace that we would have liked to enjoy in the evening was screwed shut. And the glass was broken. So for the price, it was a disappointment!

We had a wonderful week with the five of us (first week of July) in this fairly luxurious comfortable house and at this location. Very friendly reception by the lady who lives next door and who does not speak Dutch (only French). The pool still has a leak, which means that cold tap water has to flow in daily and the pump has to be turned off at night. There is no heated water, but it is a nicely clean pool. Beautiful wooden decking on a very large terrace. The garden is amazing, very large and free, also with big fruit trees for shade. Loungers with cushions are available. The sandbox has no sand in it and the bird's nest swing has broken (wood was rotten) and also the slide and such are really old equipment. Very quiet place, with neighbors you don't hear. In the house/kitchen, everything is available, including an ice maker and a cold water tap by the fridge. We also had a lot of fun with the piano. TV is not downstairs in the sitting area, but in a separate sitting area on the open upper floor. You can hear the sound in the room. Bring your own bed linen: there are three double beds (1 downstairs, 2 upstairs) and four single beds (2 downstairs, 2 upstairs). Many fun activities in the area: Coo (waterfall, Coo Adventure), Spa (mini-golf, Spa Adventure, Thermen van Spa), Lake of Gileppe, Caves of Remouchamps, Railbike in the High Fens in Leykaul, Nature Center Botrange/Signal de Botrange, with for example. walk on boardwalks or round trip with covered wagon through the High Fens in Waimes (book in time!), Warche Valley in Waimes with Roberville Dam and Reinhardstein Castle, and Reinhardstein waterfall in Waimes. Horseback riding at Equilibres ASBL in Stoumount is not possible (no longer exists). Horseback riding is possible via Coo Adventure in Spa (just call, because horseback riding is at a different location). We did not use bicycles (e-bikes), because there are no bike paths and we do not like cycling on the road where cars drive + significant elevation differences. Walking is possible, for example, in La Gleize (2-3 km from home). Shopping works best at a Lidl or Aldi... Proxy Delhaize is very expensive. Stoumount does not offer much as a place. It has a church and a bakery, for possibly fresh rolls, etc. We can wholeheartedly recommend this house and this location.

We are here now, the last week of May with 26-31 degrees and it is very warm in the house. Unfortunately, it hardly cools down at night either. Furthermore, the pool is not filled, which was a disappointment with this warm weather; I had asked if this could be done due to the nice weather. According to the information, the pool can be used from June and we will be gone on June 1. Due to the roadworks on the main road, we are very limited in making trips. The seating comfort inside could be better, especially the dining table chairs are uncomfortable. But further, there is a lot of space in the house and a large garden, which unfortunately is not fully enclosed, but we knew that.

We loved our time here. The kitchen was super modern and we cooked together every night. Relaxing by the fireplace after meals made it feel like home. Also, hiking trails were just a short walk away, which was a bonus!

Great house. Great surroundings. Nothing is missing. The kitchen is very well equipped. However, here and there, small cosmetic repairs are needed (wobbly sockets, showerhead has low water flow). The terrace has already been renovated. So it is being gradually improved. The host is very nice, and we would definitely come back. The garden is a dream for children.

We had a wonderful week in the large and very complete house. There was more than enough of everything (plates, cutlery, duvets, etc.) and even a bit more, like a raclette grill, air fryer, sandwich maker, etc. The hosts were friendly, responded quickly, and were very much in the background. This way, you could ask something if needed while simultaneously feeling 'alone' in/around the house.

Quiet location in the greenery of the Ardennes. The house is large with many amenities. The garden is great, especially for the dogs it was a breath of fresh air. Maintenance of the house and garden is moderate. The layout is unique and playful, but less suitable for small children with an open staircase in the middle of the living room. Many wooden floors, so it's noisy if you are with a large group.

The house is large and spacious. The garden and the view of the valley too. The pool and heating is good. Everything is not perfect. A window is blurry due to leaking double glazing. In the garden, sandbox and driveway there are also weeds, the grass is quite high. The floor is made of wood: the sound insulation is not like concrete. A toilet roll holder hangs loose, but a curtain rail that came loose was quickly repaired.

A great house with a beautiful location. The described supermarket at 500 meters is more of a bakery with tasty sandwiches. The wifi only works indoors, it doesn't work on the terrace. The terrace is in need of a makeover.

Everything in order. Friendly welcome & lovely pool. Only the decking around the pool is a letdown. Loose, sagging and impossible to do without shoes (because of the splinters). The chairs around the pool are also hung together with hooks and eyes. If this would be put in order really a top house.

Beautiful house, nice living room with nice fireplace. Lots of space to eat and play together or have a nice chat. Bedrooms are fine, two beds upstairs were not 180 x 200 cm, but 140 x 200 cm. Handy to know that it is a mattress due to linen to take with you. Well equipped kitchen. Because it was still winter, we were unable to use the pool and garden. The area invites you to take beautiful walks. Also nice that the bakery is within walking distance. Recommendation: two good restaurants in La Gleize!

Spacious house with all the trimmings. Friendly welcome. We stayed there with 4 adults and 2 small children. This was great for adults as there is also plenty of space to “isolate” yourself. There were some toys for children. The only downside we found was the rather dangerous central staircase that we had to shield from the children.

The swimming pool was empty, which seemed like a very unsafe situation to us when you are on vacation with a few (small) children and might lose sight of them at times. Despite being very careful, our soccer ball fell in. We used the vacuum cleaner to get it out. Conclusion: without this unsafe situation with the empty pool, it would have been an ideal vacation for one or more families.

Very friendly reception (French-speaking). Beautiful, spacious and clean accommodation in a beautiful setting. Looks like in the pictures. Inside nice big open space, lovely garden with swimming pool. Only disadvantage: the bedrooms that are one above the other are very noisy.

Everything in order. Friendly welcome & lovely pool. Only the decking around the pool is a letdown. Loose, sagging and impossible to do without shoes (because of the splinters). The chairs around the pool are also hung together with hooks and eyes. If this would be put in order really a top house.

We were very happy with the beautiful house. The decor was well maintained. It was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The landlady was very cordial and the key handover uncomplicated. Especially nice was the large garden with pool. We would book the house again at any time.

Tiles around the pool verzak.Beide create dangerous situations, especially with the elderly and children.The house could now use a makeover. The house is large and spacious. The garden and the view of the valley too. The pool and heating is good. Everything is not perfect. A window is blurry due to leaking double glazing. In the garden, sandbox and driveway there are also weeds, the grass is quite high. The floor is made of wood: the sound insulation is not like concrete. A toilet roll holder hangs loose, but a curtain rail that came loose was quickly repaired.

Beautiful house, nice living room with nice fireplace. Lots of space to eat and play together or have a nice chat. Bedrooms are fine, two beds upstairs were not 180 x 200 cm, but 140 x 200 cm. Handy to know that it is a mattress due to linen to take with you. Well equipped kitchen. Because it was still winter, we were unable to use the pool and garden. The area invites you to take beautiful walks. Also nice that the bakery is within walking distance. Recommendation: two good restaurants in La Gleize!

There were some toys for children. The only downside we found was the rather dangerous central staircase that we had to shield from the children.

The house is very well equipped with attention to detail. The only minus is the volume between the floors.
