A peaceful stay in the Ardennes? Difficult if your accommodation is 100 m from the highway as the crow flies.. Sleeping with an open window? We were received well by Dutch lady. We were unfortunate that we just went over the weekend that F1 took place. Our stay was really nice. We had also been in this cottage 7 years ago and it was just as nice as then. The forest is nearby, Malmedy is a short distance away and is centrally located for the circuit in Spa. Great location so that you can quickly get to nice places.
Cottage has everything on the ground floor, which is ideal for our dog who would otherwise walk up stairs.
Nice spacious veranda, garden is not fenced, but our dog had plenty of space on the veranda.
The only thing we experienced, as a small downside, is that the new duvets are a bit short, we are used to longer ones ourselves, the next time we book we will bring our own duvets.
