Luxurious Cottage in Aywaille with Sauna

We spent a long weekend in the cottage. In principle, a nice cottage in a beautiful location. But the floor was not clean, the heating in one of the bedrooms was defective (could not be turned off), the click waste in one bathroom was defective, etc. When we contacted the landlord, there was little friendliness to be sensed. She didn't even offer a handshake. We also spent an entire day without heating because she had turned it off (after consultation) the night before. The request to turn the heating back on was only answered in the evening. It was around 10 degrees outside, so it wasn't warm in the house. We didn't have the best time, but to mention some positive things: the jacuzzi was nice and clean, the sauna was also nice, and everything else is present in the house in terms of necessities.

Very nice little house in a top location and in a beautiful environment. We really enjoyed our stay.

was allas fantastic

Absolutely neat, great location.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

A pleasant stay overall, The cottage had everything we needed, including a cozy living area and comfortable bedrooms, The hot tub was nice, although we wished it were a bit warmer, Great location to explore Aywaille and the nearby hiking trails.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

This place exceeded our expectations! The views of the Ardennes are breathtaking, and we spent hours in the garden. The infrared sauna was fantastic - we used it every evening. The host was very friendly and made us feel at home. A truly refreshing short vacation.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

A very nice place for a family outing, The cottage was clean and well-maintained, We appreciated the central heating as we visited in cooler weather, The sauna was a nice extra, and we enjoyed exploring the surroundings with the bicycles provided by the owner.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

We had a fantastic time! The kids loved playing in the garden, and it was nice to have a BBQ grill for evening cookouts, The cottage felt like a home away from home with all the amenities, The nearby restaurants offered delicious meals too!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Clean and spacious, the garden was perfect for relaxation. We took bikes for a ride and it was great! Just a warning, the wifi was a bit unstable, but overall it was a beautiful stay. I can't wait to come back!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

This house has such an atmosphere! The outdoor hot tub with bubbles was perfect for relaxing after a long hike in the Ardennes. The sauna is exceptional, especially after a day of sightseeing. I definitely recommend it for a cozy getaway with friends.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

A cozy well-furnished cottage, Perfect for our family vacation, We enjoyed the outdoor space, especially the BBQ area, It was nice to have the option to cook our meals, The owner was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

What a wonderful retreat! The property is beautiful and we spent pleasant evenings soaking in the hot tub. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed day trips to nearby attractions and returning to the cottage felt like coming home.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

The cottage is charming and very well located. We liked being close to nature while still having access to local shops and restaurants. The host was helpful and provided us with excellent tips for exploring the area. A quiet and relaxing stay.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

A super cozy place, it felt like home. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some meals. The owner was very helpful and made check-in easy. The location is great for nature walks, and we loved the nearby Wild World Safari Park. I would recommend it 10/10!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. It was spacious and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. The terrace was a great place for morning coffee. Although the location was quiet, we enjoyed visiting nearby attractions like the Wild World Safari Park. We would definitely return!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

What a gem! The cottage in Aywaille is a perfect retreat. We loved the bubbling outdoor bath and the sauna was a delightful touch after a day of hiking. The surroundings are stunning and local food options are just a short drive away. I highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

The stay meets the expectations as described, the hostess is very friendly and keeps completely to herself from the guests, everything is super clean and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, we definitely want to return there once.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

A very nice holiday home with a beautiful view. Only the WiFi is very poor. And with 2 teenagers, that is quite annoying.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Absolutely enjoyed the hot tub! Perfect place for some peace and quiet, Highly recommended!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

We have been here for the 2nd time and there will be more to come, homesickness is already present. Very satisfied with the cottage, the view and the jacuzzi. The village is also close for the shops and a great bakery. There are walking routes from the door and also a little further. The Ninglinspo river walk is a MUST to have done. Durbuy is also a 30-minute drive and nice to have something to eat/drink.
Ps. Even the small (not obvious) things have been thought of, there is pepper/salt, detergent/sponge, dish tablets, toilet paper, blankets, Netflix, ... the owners have thought of a lot.
Very surprised when I see that the cottage is not continuously booked.

See you soon and thank you!
Chloë and Gieljan

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Cosy, clean villa cottage. Friendly hostess! Breakfast for an additional fee was neat and sufficient. The mattresses were too hard for us back sufferers, a topper would have made sleeping more pleasant.
Heating could not be turned on, it was already a bit chilly in the evening. Since we paid for the entire cottage
that could be occupied by four people and we were only two, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom were closed. Cleaning costs expensive since we left it tidy.
Beautiful view of the valley, donkeys and nice relaxing in the large jacuzzi, great!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

The view was beautiful and the jacuzzi was wonderful, but the house was not very clean, many spiders and cobwebs and you are not allowed to adjust the heating yourself, so it sometimes became very warm in the house. We wouldn't come back here anytime soon.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Beautiful holiday home with two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Jacuzzi and infrared sauna are a pleasant relief after a long walk. Beautiful walks nearby. Good communication with and reception by the owner.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Nice place, good clean house, nicely furnished, with all amenities! Bedroom with good spacious beds and a blackout roller blind, spacious shower with hand shower and rain shower and space to store and put your own things, very complete and spacious kitchen, as a Dutchman I only miss a cheese slicer😜 is also not for sale here, garden has very nice view and has several seating areas, Jacuzzi is really lovely and clean.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Really well equipped property with fantastic views and in a great location for exploring the Ardennes. Would definitely recommend.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

The accommodation is beautifully hidden in the mountains with very nice views. We enjoyed all the amenities and everything was complete

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Second time in this nice house! Last time with friends, now with partner and baby. Again super pleasant ... Everything provided for a little one of 1 year. There will definitely be a 3rd visit!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Warm welcome by the hostess. Very nice house (the owners live in the other part of the house) with jacuzzi and sauna (2 persons). 2 separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with toilet. Practical kitchen with all necessary electrical appliances. Very cozy living room and beautiful view from the terrace! Recommended!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

We stayed in the appartment for a week. Lovely spacious appartement with 2 good bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. Relax in the jacuzzi or in the sauna. All facilities needed for a good stay.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Lovely spacious apartment with 2 large bedrooms with private shower and toilet. Sauna and bubble bath wonderful addition. Of course, the great weather also contributes to the experience.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

We stayed in this apartment for a week in October. The location and the view from the garden are beautiful. The time in the hot tub was very relaxing. You can drive to the nearby town in 10 minutes, where you will find everything you need to live. The apartment was clean and adequately equipped. Unfortunately, the e-bikes advertised on the internet were not available. We were really looking forward to bike tours, which we unfortunately couldn't do. When asked about possible solutions, the landlord unfortunately did not answer - that is unfortunate and gives a deduction. We couldn't find any bike rentals nearby, help would have been good here.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

It is a nice house to stay. We have been for a week and then you have enough time to view the house in detail. The house turned out not to be that clean after all. Lots of cobwebs and dust. The cleaning costs are then really exceptionally high. The finish also left something to be desired. Furthermore, the house offers all comforts such as a dishwasher, washing machine and several bathrooms. The sauna and jacuzzi are a nice addition to relax. The jacuzzi could use a little more maintenance as it was very slippery in the water.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Beautiful location, clean house and quiet location! Close to the city where you can eat well. It is at the top of a hill, not recommended to do this on foot and arranging a taxi is very difficult in this area. Unfortunately, the owner only speaks French, so communication was difficult.Enige downside was that you had to pay 90 euros for the cleaning costs on the spot. This was very unclear and was much too much for the house and the cleaning that went with it!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Great apartment, very clean and modern

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature. Many walks are possible in the area (Ninglingspo and Hoegne are definitely worth the effort). The interior is spacious, well-kept, clean and cosy. Everything you need for a good stay is available in the house. A full kitchen with all appliances, all utensils, dining area separated from the sitting room. There is a separate hall for coats / shoes, including a washing machine. you know in advance with a divided house.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Great location and a super nice / spacious house. That the owners live upstairs is absolutely no downside.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

An overall reasonable experience in the holiday home, the house itself was very good, double bathroom was a very big plus! Just a few comments about the cleanliness of the house + jacuzzi. In every room were several cobwebs, a lot of flies! in the jacuzzi was dirt that came up during the use. The final cleaning price of € 90 is therefore much too high!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Beautiful cottage. Clean and everything in order. Only the cot had no mattress, which was sad for our baby. Especially because we have had contact with the landlord about this in advance. There was also 90 euros in cleaning costs to be paid on site. This was mentioned somewhere at Belvilla (in fine print) but I thought it was a lot of money and still a setback.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Good address. Everything present. Great!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

dear, I noticed that there was cobwebs on the windows and listen. Everything else was fine

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Beautifully located holiday home, where we could use a nice breakfast prepared by the hostess on Sunday.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Beautiful surroundings, beautiful and well-kept house and SUPER friendly people TOP locations

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Super nice environment and beautiful house with all amenities 👍👍👍👍

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Very good, everything is there, top stay!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Good house. Wifi is limited to the kitchen only

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Mooie ligging, prachtig uitzicht, bos in directe omgeving. Goed onderhouden en een goede jacuzzi.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

We received a warm welcome and the villa was immaculate and highly recommended. The view from the villa was breathtaking and the location was ideal and super quiet

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

The holiday home is very quiet and is very well equipped. We had a nice week.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

accommodation is okay. a very small tip maybe a turning head and a hairdryer would be welcome for the rest tip top okay.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

arrival and service were top. communication was also very good and smooth. the accommodation was more than top. the no internet in the entire house I would not consider negative. but as an extra place to relax and do other things.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Good some explanation about the property and equipment. Environment is fantastic!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

The accommodation was equipped with all equipment as described. The jacuzzi gave out a pleasant view. The area was quiet. Yet much to see and do.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Very pleasant reception by the owner on site. Spacious attractively furnished holiday home among the owners. Very good beds and 2 beautiful separate bathrooms. Nice spacious view with a wonderful jacuzzi in the garden. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave and dishwasher and 4-burner electric hob. In a separate room the washing machine and wardrobe. Private entrance and exit to the property. Unfortunately the WiFi only worked in the kitchen, but that would be solved. No noise at all from the owners who live above. Definitely recommended.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Beautiful house, with lots of space 2 beautiful spacious bedrooms both with a beautiful bathroom with beautiful shower. Jacuzzi with beautiful view and an infrared sauna. Kitchen complete only hung a pretty musty air (moisture) in the cupboards. Environment is beautiful, hiking in the immediate vicinity of it is somewhat limited, but that is more than made up for a few kilometers away.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Good to find. Own parking space. Very nice area and nice view from the accommodation. Communicate with the owners must be in French, but otherwise went fine.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

We are kindly received and the accommodation was super nice, only the couch was not so nice. The area is really super beautiful !!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Arrival was a bit chaotic, sms "did not arrive and in French. Also when guided around it was explained in French (spoke no English or Flemish). House was very neat and clean. Even bathrobes were present only no towels Was a BBQ that you could use and jacuzzi was very nice and clean. Village you always had to take the car. The mountain road was not safe to walk in. Small but nice village in the valley.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Prime location, super beautiful stay

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Beautiful place, nice stay.

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

It was a nice and good stay, just a pity about the early checkout on the last day
