Fantastic house, in a lovely quiet location, perfect for a visit to Spa with a family or group of friends. Plenty of bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen for cooking your own meals. It's a 20 minute walk into the centre of Spa, with quite a hill on the way back.

We had a fantastic stay in this mansion in Spa! The spacious garden was perfect for our family BBQ evenings, and the kids loved the play equipment. The views of the nature reserve are simply breathtaking.

Very beautiful house, quietly located. Everything you need is there. Everything well maintained, the kitchen relatively new. From the kicker to the table tennis to the Playstation! Our daughter was very happy about the art supplies. The host was friendly and informed us about everything important. We would book again at any time.

Beautiful location. Great for small children and a dog with the fenced garden. It's wonderful outside! Good beds. The kitchen inventory is complete. However, it is an old house; creaking floors everywhere. The living area is not very large for six adults, two small children, and a dog when it rains. The description and photos mention play equipment (swings). They are not there. The house was not really clean.

We had a great time at this manor! The garden was perfect for our BBQ evenings, and we could easily walk to the city center for good food. The only downside? The WiFi was a bit slow, but hey, we were on vacation, so it's not a problem. We will definitely come back!

This house is a quiet refuge with a beautiful garden right near the city. The spacious kitchen has all the amenities you could wish for! It was the perfect location for a family lunch, allowing the children to enjoy the garden. We also took a lovely walk in the nearby woods, with a well-marked path that starts right next to the house. We spent a wonderful afternoon relaxing in the garden.

Enjoyed our stay at Maison Marie immensely! Two cozy master bedrooms make the house ideal for a stay with two couples/families. The children were allowed to divide the other 3 bedrooms among themselves. The center of Spa, with many nice places to eat and drink, is within walking distance. We mainly cooked at home: the kitchen offers every comfort. Everything is neat and clean and well maintained, including the large garden that surrounds the house. Recommended!

With fond memories of a previous stay at Maison Marie (a few years ago), we arrived with high expectations. We were (once again) pleasantly surprised: the house has received a significant upgrade: all wooden windows have been replaced, there is a charging point for electric cars, the foosball table has been renewed, and some rooms have been refreshed. Everything was still well-maintained, just like last time. The house is within walking distance of the center of Spa and is a great starting point for walks in the area. The weather was nice, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden as well. Looking forward to the next time!

Unfortunately only one complete bathroom. Although according to the description there should be 4 bathrooms!!!
But there was only one bathroom and then twice only a sink and once a shower cubicle.
In one bedroom the mattress was extremely dirty / had a huge blood stain.
which is absolutely not acceptable!!!
Otherwise it should be noted about the house that everything else was there.

The contact with the house owner was neat and good. However, the layout of the house in comparison with what was on the website was disappointing in terms of the description of the presence of toilets and bathrooms. Like * Tussenetage, bedroom with bathroom and sink and toilet ....... There was NO bathroom and sink in this bedroom, the toilet was a common toilet in the hallway. * On the first floor, bedroom with bathroom, sink and toilet ..... In one bedroom was a sink NO bathroom, in the opposite bedroom was NO bathroom. On the first floor was a general bathroom with toilet. On the second floor was NO bathroom a sink in the bedroom ..... * In the attic was a rain shower cabin and a sink near the bedroom ....... We were 8 people and found it very unfortunate that the bathrooms were missing.According to the description there are 4 bedrooms, there are 5! Unfortunately we found it not so clean, tis annoying to write also because the owner is such a nice man but a few guests kept coughing and sneezing, after we the house had plenty to ventilate for the stuffy among us to do better ...... The house itself is really nice with its old stairs and many rooms.Wat we found less suitable was the size of the living / dining room. For example, we could not all sit comfortably. The dining table was fantastic, nice and big! The garden is ideal. The kitchen is fine even without oven mitts and sharp chef's knives .... The location is beautiful and the outdoors blissful. We had the luck that the sun broke through.Friendly greetings and for those who are still going, happy holiday!

A pleasant stay, with nice weather. During the weekend of arrival It was great to relax in the large garden. For the children's swings and football on the beautiful lawn. Then cold again, the stove came in handy. The Internet was all right. The beds were fine, we have often experienced differently. Also a cot and high chair were present but the box that there would be standing, there was not. R nThe was also nice cooking in the spacious kitchen. Around many large supermarkets. R nIn the Wellness Spa is in a lovely large warm pool and also a pool, even if it is very cold, there is the fine swimming. We had a nice and relaxing week.

Maison Marie is a charming and spacious home in a quiet area (end of a cul-de-sac). Ideally located within walking distance of downtown. Squeaky doors and creaking stairs might belong to the charm of the house, but are less ideal for "morning for the long sleepers among us. Generally happy times I come back here!

We were allowed to come at 5 pm, but were already there at 4 pm. The cleaners were still busy, so first I did some shopping. Spa is a nice place, with a rich history but with some faded glory. The house exceeded our expectations. Really super fun. It has a lot of stairs (it does squat!), Nice spacious bedrooms. Great beds. Kitchen is fully equipped. Lovely garden, which is probably at its best in the summer. But already beautiful. The contact with manager Marc also went very well. And what a beautiful setting! We will gladly come back again.
